Claimed they were from a medical facility, then hung up.

Received a call tonight from the same woman, who called before. The last time it was Freeline Financial.  This time she said she was working for a company in New York that was verifying checking account numbers for Pharmabay on-line pharmacy.  She claimed that I had had given my account number to someone about a month ago to order something.  She then said that if I didn't give her a verbal verification of my checking account, that my account would be charged $2,000.  She said,  "I'm looking at your information right now."  She got very upset when I did not cooperate.
This woman tried to be intimidating and threatening, but I just told her to go ahead and try to charge my account!

I'm getting the same calls from this no. But there isn't anything said other than leave message or leave a fax now. Sometimes it rings up to 5 or more times. And sometimes it rings 1 or 2 times and than hungs up. But the calls comes somedays more than 4 times on somedays 3 times on certain days. The calls are early in the morning or late at night on the 7th wednesday night I was called while at church and calls come while Im at work with the same m.o.
Anyway of stopping this or finding out who this is would be appreciated its really annoying.

I have received no less than 20 calls over the past few weeks from this number.  Most of the calls resulted in them just hanging up on me.  Last night I spoke to a person whom I told to stop calling my number.  she then hung up.  Today I received another call from this number and a lady identified herself as associated with some medical group.  She claimed I received a call a month ago from one of her associates, at which time I interrupted her and informed her I have received mulitple calls and have asked to be removed from their calling list.  She then just hung up

The have been calling me for a few weeks and hanging up - last night at 10 pm they called and said they were with my health insurance company and asked for me by my first name - I told them she wasn't home

Yeah i also got the freeline financial call about a grant and that to accept the grant i needed to give them the bank information. This is the same lady because she got all mad and flustered when i asked questions. So far no help from anyone on stopping this crap.

These people keep calling me all day long. Once a lady with a thick accent asked for me by name and then it was disconnected They keep calling and i dont know why!!!

I'm surprised that NTS Communications won't help out.  When I called, they were putting in a fraud ticket on the phone number.  I called my cell phone service provider and had them put a trace on my phone for that number.  I received a call from 940-234-6687 this morning and again this evening.  But this time when I called the number back, it said THIS NUMBER IS NOT IN USE.

I got several calls from this number. I answered the phone and said hello several times and heard laughing and music in the background. She said that she was from some medical company and she was calling about a medical package that I ordered 30 days ago and she needed my address and banking information. I asked her again what I "signed up" for and she said I signed for a medical package that would pay 65% of my medical expenses. I then told her that that couldn't be true because I have medicaid and all of my insurance is paid. She then hung up. I looked up on here and other sites to see what it was and everyone has had the same experience. I tried to call the number back and it said it was out of order. Be careful I think they are changing their telephone number. I too am on the National Do Not Call List.

This is so damn annoying...they keep calling my phone at least 2 times a day, I say "hello" and they just hang up before I can even tell them to stop calling and take me off the list.  I called back, left a message for them to take me off the list.  How do I get these people to leave me alone????

yes i got the call and it was a man and he was very roude and he said to me that he had all my accounts number and they will bill me 3,000. and i told them to go to hell

I keep getting calls from this number, 1-940-234-6697, I barely answer it because it's just a lady who asks me my name.  I try calling back but I get the same message telling me to press 1 to leave a number and 2 to leave a fax.  I am getting sick and tired of getting these calls, especially that I am on the do not call registry list.

Local phone provider won't do anything or block, and the NTS Communications center won't assist. repeated calls from this number, and they always hang up without saying anything.

I received a call from the same number and the lady said that she was from a medical place, I couldn't catch the name and told me that I had ordered this product and when I told her that I hadn't ordered anything she was very upset stating that she was trying to give me my confirmation number for the order and she also stated that the product would be in the mail and that I have 30 days to decide if I wanted it and after the 30 days that my account would be billed $370.00 and when I told her that I would press charges if any activity came out of my account she then got very angry and stated that someone in my household she spoke with two days ago and that it is final. I asked for their website and she hung up.When I called the number back their was a message saying press 1 to leave a number and 2 to leave a fax. I sent a fax to the unknown stating that I did not authorize any transactions and that if they charge anything to my account thatI would press charges. I also did the resverse look up on google to get the information on this number and was charged a fee and got nothing. Please don't pay for the information on this number you will be charged to be told that  that is no info.

I've just started receiving calls from this number, on my cell phone of all places.

They're just saying hello, and then hanging up, when I answer it.

Has anyone else recently signed up for the do not call list? I'd been getting other problematic phone calls (mostly telemarketers looking for the previous owner), so I signed up for it a few weeks ago. Then this person started calling. I think that might be where this person is getting their information.

I have received the same calls.  I reported them to the BBB of north central Texas, FTC, my local police department and I called NTS Communications (Network Control Center, Office: 800-658-2101, Hours: 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week)
and reported them as a fraud

im tired of geting phone calls from this number and all they do is hang up on me im sick of it they called me 5 times on 11-09-2007 and 3 times on 11-10-2007 they need to stop calling me if there not going to talk to me

I am calling from Atlanta, Georgia and I want to let people know that they are trying to pull the same scam down here as well except they have a 206 area code. I knew this was a scam and then they gave me a second number to call and cancel my order and when I called the second number they said they had no record of me but they made a point of telling me that my account would still be debited $370.

I have also gotten phone calls from the same person, but a different number as well, noted 206-260-8179. whoever this caller is, she has done the same thing to me, approximately 5 minutes ago, and i gave her most of what she wanted, because I had not known that it was a scam!!! Now she may have enough information to ruin my life!!! Please help me for I don't know what to do. She has also done all of what she did to you all with the laughter and everything, even the 65% thing for my medical bills and stuff. Can someone please help me!?!?

lady called my wife and said she had to verify some bank account info, for some type of health care she had applied for. Funny thing is, my wife is on medicade, and already has all health care provided. The first no. called from was the 940-234-6697 on Nov 8th. "customer service" with a tele. no. of 866-969-2574 was given to my wife saying that she could cancel the ammount of 376.00 right away if contacted. This no. does not work as of nov 27 and they have already debited from our account the ammount shown. they had all our account info, unknown to me. they said a packet would be coming in the mail, and only if signed to agree, and sent back, would they debit our account. No packet ever came and I have over draft fees coming out the butt. I only hope that what I am writing out here doesn't have to do with a scam

I've posted many posts on this website regarding my encounters with them.  After I called the Wichita Falls Police Department and filed a report, they stopped calling from the TX phone number.  Now they are calling from 206-260-8179.
I answered the call that came in tonight with:
I said, "Hola"
She asked, "Is Jennifer there?"
I said, "No habla ingles, hablar español?"
She said, "No habla español."
Then she hung up on me.
Maybe they'll stop calling because they think I don't English!

I posted a few posts back about my mom getting the harassing calls from 940-234-6697.  Since she blasted their ears a few times the calls from that number have stopped.  However, today while she was gone she got 3 phone calls from 206-260-8179.  It appears to be the same company doing the same thing, with lots of hangup calls.  I told her to do the same thing as the first number, blast their ears.

I would encourage everyone to refer back to my original post and report these people to the appropriate agencies.  Eventually people are going to get so much paperwork on these people they are going to find them and stop them because they are tired of hearing from angry citizens.

I got several calls from 940-234-6697. Every time I picked up there was no one at the other end, just a hang up. Now they have changed their number to 206-260-8179 Seatle WA, . Same deal medical drugs at a discount. She wanted my Bank's name, routing number ex. I had some fun with her and gave all kinds of phony information, than I told her to go %$#^&*. She than also curst at me.

I was getting those calls and after I answered Friday and got threatened by them I did not answer again even after the 5-6 calls I got  alter that day thru Tues ALL DAY till 10pm.. WELL FYI this people have figured out people are NOT going to answer there calls anymore with the 940-234-6697.. I Just got a call from another number for them, thinking it might be a relative I answered and as soon as then said National Medical Services ( Stratiges ?) I HUNG UP.. New # to watch for 206-260-8179.
