Repeatedly receiving fax machine calls from this #.
| Roobydoo 2011-06-06 21:07:32 Unknown |
Receive approx 15 calls/week from 9405916839 and 9405668757. In both cases, someone's trying to send an unsolicited fax to a TOLL FREE number, routed to a cell phone! So I'm paying for both calls (toll free & forwarded).
Note: the number they're calling is not and has never been connected to a fax machine.
I'm investigating the possibility of just blocking ALL calls from the 940 area code.
There's a special place in hell for these telemarketers.

What You Can Do
The FCC can issue warning citations and impose fines against companies violating or suspected of violating the do-not-call rules, but does not award individual damages. If you receive a telephone solicitation that you think violates any of these rules, you can file a complaint with the FCC. There is no charge for filing a complaint. You can file your complaint using an on-line complaint form found at esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. You can also file your complaint with the FCC’s Consumer Center by e-mailing fccinfo@fcc.gov; calling 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY; faxing 1-866-418-0232; or writing to:

Same here. I decided to Google this # since I've received multiple annoying calls on an unpublished business #, routed to my cell. Never leaves a msg, shows up as unknown caller and won't quit calling! I've received daily calls for at least two weeks! Who is this waste of time & space?

I received a call also from this number. They called my business number & left no message. When I tried to call back, I got a fax connection. I have no idea who this is or why they were calling me.

Fax machine when answered. Call coming in on personal 800 non-fax number. This costs me $ every day now when they call in from Denton, TX (940) and Lake Worth TX (817) at all times of day and night.

Fax machine when answered. It's someone out of the Dayton, TX area. They called a work line which is not a public number.
