I got a call from this number at 11:30 pm.. didn't answer, no message left. Seriously not happy about it.

Repeated fax calls, to my cell phone and cell voice mail. For weeks now.

gave a few numbers a call, the 240...number is "unallocated" when I tried to get through to customer service there was a hold time of 81minutes!! so then I tried calling as a "customer" and got right through...when I asked him about the 240 number he made up some toatl BS and said they've already closed their offices...there is definitely something weird going on here.

There must be a nice group of lawyers out there just ready to nail a big Texas company and family. Also, how about more complaints to the Denton Police, and the Texas Public Utility Commission.

Same complait as everyone else. I contacted my toll-free number service provider (tollfreenumber.org -- OPEX Communications) and had them block all calls from the 817 area code. However, I'm trying to figure out the motive behind this scam and I can only come up with one. I wonder if this company has some association with tollfreenumber.org/OPEX Communications. I have no complaints about tollfreenumber.org/OPEX at all, but I am wondering if possibly their billing is outsourced, and the company who does their billing gets a percentage of the billed amounts. If so, that billing company would benefit from making all of these 3 second calls to the toll-free numbers and running up everyone's bills, unbeknownst to the service provider. That's all I can come up with. I'm curious who other people are using for their toll-free service. Maybe there's a link there.

Keep getting calls from Bolin Real Estate and it sounds like a fax coming through.

A possible solution to the problem would be to enter your phone number with the "do not call registry".  After 31 days of being registered, you can file a complaint through them.  Go to www.donotcall.gov

I have not been registered for 31 days yet, but as soon as I am, Bolin butt is getting reported.

I get at least 2 calls a day from this number on my toll free business line.  It's a fax or something and there is no way to stop it.  I called Bolen Real estate and the lady said she could not give me the information to get it removed but would contact the customer.  Apparently, these are the instigators and they are a phone company.

I always screen my calls due to the high amount of spam calls... these people never leave a message, but my caller id shows that they just continue to call from Bolin real estate at 1-940-891-2658...must be nice not having anything better to do...

Bolin is not selling real estate. Do some research and you will find this man's name connected with numerous companies and numerous scams. He was investigated for the www.prebuyelectric.com company he owned. This man needs to be stopped now. He is making many people miserable by calling their 1-800 numbers (to verify that it is a working number) and then putting that number of a list that is being sold.

I answer my phone saying "Hello." There is then a recording saying "This is not a valid response." Bolin Real Estate has been calling me from 940-898-1526. Sometimes it is the above mentioned recording. Other times it sounds like someone is trying to send me a fax.

Keep receiving calls from this phone number, which hang up as soon as I answer. This is a business and every time they call, not only do they distract our employees, but cost us money by calling our 800 number. Need this to stop immediately.. its BS

We also keep getting a bunch of hang up calls from many different numbers with 940 area codes. Some of them say smtmco.com, smtmco.net, protege srvs, or sometimes it says Denton, TX or the name of a person. It's always the same though. They call. There is a fax or dialup noise. If it is, a couple of us should fly down there and beat some ***... seriously. These people need to be stopped. Law enforcement won't do anything. They need to have their company, computers, autodialers, and other machines smashed up. I am sure we would all feel a great sense of relief.

I have received the same phone calls from all of these numbers and no ones there. They received my number as wells as hundreds of numbers of other companys from a contractor directory called Done Right when Done right sends out there directorys  several times each year. I have reported it to Done right since I am charged $15 from each directory phone call. If this is happening to me, it must be happening to everyone thats in the directory causing unimaginable problems for the directory & everyone that's on this call list. I have gone to the Done Right Directory & logged in to see what charges I have racked up in the last 24 hrs and now their website is offline. I am sure they are taking corrective measures & getting to the source. Obviously this is only one small segment of the magnitude that the calling software is creating so much havoc with.

Also have rec'd a few calls from (940) 891-2859 and when I answer they hang up - very annoying!

This company is testing toll free numbers for connectivity so they can sell connect proof lists to politicians and the like.  In other words, a politician can buy a Call Campaign that guarantees 30,000 connects.

This info was discovered through collaborative PI investigations.  This is crap and these guys need to be stopped.

Got a call at almost 10:00 pm and got the same results.  After rushing to the phone found nobody there and tried to call back and got dialing back into the phone and then a busy signal.  Tried to find a company listed by this name in Texas where they are supposedly from so I can get removed from their list but they don't seem to actually exist there.  Does a crap company like this actually think anyone would want to deal with them considering the way they conduct their business??  Why there are so many crap companies like this disturbing others I don't know but I sure wish they were all stopped.  Perhaps we need to make complaints to the phone companies.  Perhaps start calling the CEO's of the phone company who owns that number and let them waste their time on this.
