You fail to provide people with a legitimate way to remove themselves from YOUR call list.  You call 50,000 people but do not allow them to contact you by the same media.  Some of the call receivers don't live in this state and have had the same phone numbers for YEARS.  Why would the Supervisor of Elections office say something that directly contradicts what you are saying?  If so few people had a problem with your calls and you didn't feel they could be nuisance calls why would you be checking a site such as this, let alone feel the need to respond?

Just because there is a HUGE hole in the Do Not Call Registry coverage does not make it right for you or any other political canidate to exploit it.  Your opponent didn't stoop so low.

We the People don't want your junk robocalls. Makes us wonder who you represent, certainly not any real people, otherwise you would respect our wishes. NOBODY WANTS THESE CALLS.

Let me say it again -- NOBODY WANTS THESE CALLS. N O B O D Y. Maybe you should include a message that says "press 1 to obliterate this candidate" and see how many of us will press it.

Just another scumbag making a power grab. Not qualified for any elected office.

Out of 50,000 calls there was only 0.02% negative feedback on the two calls that my campaign could afford to send out. I can't please everyone, but here's some facts to help you understand the process better. The phone list was compiled from the voter rolls which I purchased from the Supervisor of Elections on CD for $10.00 last year and one more list of registered voters updated recently. The Freedom of Information Act allows ANYONE to request this information from the Supervisor of Elections.
IF you got a new phone number recently and somehow got called without being a registered voter, then you likely inherited a number from a former registered voter.  I had no way of knowing if a number has changed hands.
If you are a registered voter you can request to have the optional phone information that you provided at registration to be removed from the voter database at the Supervisor of Elections. Please do be polite when calling the Supervisor of Elections, the people there work very hard and deserve some respect. Political calls are exempt from the "no call" list and are a legitimate form of contacting voters.  Have a great day and remember to vote for Sundae!

Just got off the phone with the supervisor of elections office.  Not only do they not give out voters numbers, they have no lists to remove you from.  In the last 4 hours they have received dozens of calls asking to be taken of the list and complaining they were told by the message they heard calling Sundae Knight back that they needed to call the supervisor of elections.  The receptionist at the SoE office was very apologetic for this mess.

Looks like an e-mail to the canidate is in order. Here is the e-mail address from her election website: vote4sundae@yahoo.com

Political Call
Sundae Knight must really want me to vote for the other canidate.  At least now if you call the number back her message gives the number to call to get your phone number removed from the list for political canidates: 941-741-3823.

Political Call
This is someone's cell phone spamming people for a Manatee County commission canidate. Really wish political campaign calls (I'm fine with ones for tele-town hall meetings) were covered under the do not call registry.  Too bad no politician will ever vote to limit their way to annoy people into giving them money.
