I just got the call today and of course when you hear they can lower you interest rate your gone to jump all over it. The guy I spoke to was Danny McCoy had all my information and when I said that I wanted to research it more, he started to freak out and I told him your not gone to speak like that to me. Started to yell and hung up on me. I was so pissed off I called back got a different guy. I told him I wanted to speak to the head one or management and told him the story and said you never treat your customers like this. So basically if I could of went through the phone I would of I so pissed. Also the first the guy Danny said that I was acusing him as a scrammer which it sure sounds like one!!!!!!!!! So of course because he had all my info I had to cancel my credit card and let them know. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the same call yesterday. I called all of my CC companies and had my card canceled and renewed.

wanted me to give them the name and number of my outstanding visa and mastercard numbers and said they would assign a financial adviser to lower all the rates on my cards since I paid them all on time.
when I refused to give them information, they go rather indignate that I should question them.  I then hung up.

Received a call to lower interest rates on VISA & MC.  I said the connection wasn't good & he said he'd call me back.  I said I was in the middle of something & convinced the foreign person to give me the number  to call him back.  When I remarked about being on the national DO NOT CALL list, he said "no you're not".  I said I am, he repeated lysaid I was not & then hung up on me.

I just received one of these calls. He said his name was Sheldon from Financal Services. He was calling about lowering my interest rates, but my credit card company knew nothng of the call.  Also he said that he was calling from 941-312-2236 - a number in Sarasota, FL , but when I *69'd the number, it came up with 305-368-8827 - a cell from Miami. He was quite persistant in trying to confirm my info even though I told him that I wasn't comfortable giving it out - he stated that he wanted to bring up my statement so he would be ready for when I called back. As with the others reported, he didn't speak very good English.  About 20 minutes later, he actually called back wondering why I hadn't called (he was waiting).      Don't know where he's from but he's a little too persistant and knew a little too much.   I've got my cc company watching for fraudulent charges now - beware people.

Answered call from 305-368-8898 about lowering my rates. They hung up and another call within seconds from 941-312-8899.  Same person.  I played along trying to get info from them.  They (non US speaking person) said his name was Willy Anderson.  He wanted me to get my CC info so he could qualify me.  You could hear is was a Call center with all the voices in the background.   He said he was with "Financial Services" his company name.  Asked him for his web site address - he said he is not authorized to provide that information. Trying to convence him that he was about to get personal information from me I wanted to know more about his company to ensure they were  a good company.  He continued to refuse to provide information.  He did not get "nasty" as I see others have been treated, but, he was certainly frustrated.

He did however give me a Phone # to call him back with my CC information - 941-312-2236.  Obviously, Not planning to call the scum bag back!!

Received a bogus call from an Indian Guy who called himself Mike and claimed that he could reduce the interest rate on all of my credit cards to 6%.  However ... I KNEW HE WAS LYING, because he was not calling from any particular bank.  He then lied and said he was from VISA, but had previously said that he could reduce the rates on any VISA or MASTERCARD account.

He proceeded to insist that he could help me and that I could start by providing him with the expiration date of my accounts.  I told him that I would not disclose any personal information, because I could not validate who he was ... He then told me that I could call him back at 941-312-2236 x8013

However ... The number on my called ID is international: 11 30 5368 8887

I got a call today from 941-312-2236.  The number on my caller ID was totally different --845-227-5311.  Said they were Visa card services and I qualified for my interest rate to be lowered.  Kept me on phone for a long time, said I would save $1500 off my balance.  Later learned they would charge $690 for the service.  I listened and decided to accept.  Later today called back to cancel and got recording so left message.  Also called the number on my caller ID and that was disconnected or not in service. Since this now all sounds shady to me I called my credit card company and asked not to accept a charge of $690 from anyone but they cannot do anything until the charge comes through.  This is very frightening to me now that they have all of my information.  Hope someone can find out  who these people are.

JUST GOT A PHONE CALL TO LOWER MY CC# TO 6% AND I ASK HIS COMPANY'S NAME AND HE SAID HE IS FROM VISA MASTER CARD.  HIS NAME IS JACK #8013 (941-3122236). I SMELL SCAM ALL OVER THIS.

the number that called me is a NY number, 212-291-9196, and told me that they could lower my interest rate to 6% on two of my Visa Cards. They know the balances, interest rates, minimum amounts that I had been paying, and then when I could not give them my Visa card number I told them I was going to call them back and then they gave me 941-312-2236 and some website I could not find! Very disturbing that they have access to all my personal information!!!

I got the call from Mark today.  Sounds shady.  I got their number and told them I would call them back. Of course I'm not going to.  Sounds too good to be true...and more than likely expensive.

Yes they called me too. They had a lot of info on me and my cards.
The phone kept on disconnecting and they called me back each time. they claim they could save me $2500 if I payed $690. I didn't because if they were from visa/MC they would not have so much time to spend with me.

Got the same call.  Might persistent fella named Mark.  I told him I wasn't comfortable on the xall and he chuckled and didnt understand why. He did what he could to reassure me but my biggest concern is if they are selling an interest rate negotiation SERVICE, how and why do they have full information on the cards I have???? That is very bothersome.

Indian call center, funny accent, bunch of cheap rogues. I Don't deal with Indian call centers so asked them to p#$% off. If it was a US call center would have been more accommodating. With all the lay offs call centers do employ a lot of people.

Today I received a call from the above number telling me that they can lower my interest on my Mastercard to 1 to 6 % .I spoke first to a Ricky Johnson then a acccount manager Cliff Peterson, Now I put a phone call into my Bank just to see who these people  are. Do You know who they are?

I got a call from this number, 2 days in a row.  (Both days I was told I was speaking to "Rocky Johnson" and when I asked for supervisor, I was told I was speaking to "Jack Robinson.")  They claim to be calling from card member services for VISA & MC;  they have information about who you are and your card balances;  they claim they can/will negotiate w/your credit card for 6% interest rate for life!  Of course too good to be true....  They claim that lots of people are paying off and canceling credit cards due to high interest rates (this is true), so MC & VISA want to do something about this....  They asked about my Chase cards;  I did not give them my expiration dates and called Chase.  Chase told me that this company is shady, but not actually non-legit -- Chase says if you follow the call through, they tell you they will charge your card a (very high) fee for getting your rate lowered to 6%, and return the fee if they don't get the rate lowered at your bank.....

They said they were from CARD MEMBER services representing banks and authorized  to reduce interest rates.
They seemed to have a lot of  info on me.  I took their number and called my credit card company to ask them what was going on - they hung upon me !!!
