This is definitely a scam. I got the same message tmomail@tmomail.net "Wachovia 4828xx card is temporarily locked. Call at 9413474142." I received it on Jan 24 2010. I don't have and never had an account with Wachovia.
My phone is a G1.

Got a text notification that, "Wachovia 4828xx card is temporarily locked. Call at 9413474142." Hopefully this is a scam because I don't have any account with Wachovia. However, I am scared whether it's a case of identity theft :( Seems like the message was sent from tmomail@tmomail.net.
