My mother is getting these calls several times a day.  She is 93 and it is very difficult for her to get to the phone.  In addition, she is hard of hearing and has no idea what they are saying.  How do I stop them?

I've had the same issue and am sooo sick of it! I can't figure out how to even talk to anyone. I've had 14 msg's left in the last 2 wks from them and am getting pissed about it. I can never talk to anyone and when i try the number it doesn't go through, i just get a dial tone after dialing it. How can we stop these calls?

The number that called me was 321-961-2170.  The caller used the exact same words as described above.  I told them that I didn't want to be called anymore but they ignored me to read the prepared speech.
If anyone knows how to report these criminals please post.

Exactly the same here . She was very well spoken and persistant. After about 5 or more minutes of her spiel, I forcefully told her to remove my number from her call list. at that point, she hung up.

I have received this same phone call from   941-356-0697   approx. 15 times in the past week!!  I had pressed "5" to be removed from the calling list..apparently that did not work... I then pressed "1" to speak to a representative and received the same exact line  "Association for Saving Power" and "we are not selling anything".   I told he he must remove my # from this call list...so very frustrating!!

The number came across my caller id without an area code so I am left to assume it is local to me unless they omit it from the info transmitted, which I'm sure is possible. The initial recorded message states that there are government rebates I might be eligible for by having my home inspected for ways to save energy. It goes on about how to get that money and states, "press one to speak with a representative", I did so and in turn spoke with Kevin. When I asked for the name of the company he told me it was "Association for Saving Power" and "we are not selling anything". At that point I asked if he was aware that my number was on the National Do Not Call List and when he did not answer me I informed him to remove my number from their list and not to call me again. I believe that I read something about this in my local paper. People being called by a company telling them that they might be eligible for government money once they get a home inspection for how to save energy. They end up with things like jewelry and other easily concealed items stolen from their homes.
