Left nothing on the answering machine.

I just rec'd 2 calls from my daughter in Tampa....she has a 727 area code and this number 941-467-3109 came up both times on my caller ID. I called the phone company and they say they have no one at that number and it is probably a cell phone number. I asked why it's coming up on my caller ID from my daughter and they said your daughter must be calling from that number. What? She's calling from her own cell phone. I don't know where to go to get help with this. When I call the number it says to "enter my authorization code". I entered all ones and it says code not valid. I tried all 2 and it says the same thing. Then it says try calling our business center and it doesn't give a name or number.

My email acct was compromised recently where they sent out mass amts of emails with phishing links included in the body of the emails. I went onto my Android cell phone to change my email password and apparently was hit there too.... Now when I call out on my cell number it takes an unusually long amt of time to ring and then THIS NUMBER shows up on the caller id of the person I am calling..... NOW after reading these comments on what this number has been used for in the past it is making me sick to my stomach!! I just wanted to bring awareness to others about your CELL PHONE having the ability to be "HACKED" into as well. If anyone has any information on what I have described in my comment I would welcome any help!!!  Thanks!

I received a  call around 2 P.M.     stating that I was a winner of 2.5 million.  He was very hard to understand.  He said there would be a Red & Grey truck marked EPS Delivery here at 4.30 P.M.  The driver's name would be Tom.  They also gave me a password and not to say anything until they gave me the password.  The best I could understand it was from Price Water House INC.  He also stated that there would be a US Marshall with them.  This call was from a Port Charlotte, FL number.  We called  the Sheriff's Office to see if they would send a police here to witness this.  NO would do!!

this number is calling me and saying Officer Sean Micheals and wanting to collect money for any a loan company. Has all my info and keeps callin me wanting to collect money.

it is a credit card "lower my rate" scam, with a recorded call that transfers to a live operator in india. the number itself is sold by ALLTEL in fort myers and is a cellular number, hence the bad transmission quality. We here at MSNBC/SWFLA are investigating this, and if you have any more information, please share it with us.
