I have received 2 calls from this company within a space of 5 minutes.  When the answerphone kicks in the call is dropped.  This happens at least 4 times a week always in the evening and never during the day when the office is open.

There is no message, they hang up when the recorder comes on. This is NOT a local call, my area code is 850. We are so blasted sick of all these charities, police, firemen, etc. and many are nice, but ve've has some that have been just plain RUDE from Bel Glade, FL.  We give locally and will not be doing it over the phone!

I just got a call from this number and didn't answer.  It was tempting to answer because my folks live in the Sarasota/Bradenton area in Florida which has this area code.  I called back a few minutes later and got a recordeing stating that they are the Children's Cancer Research Coalition, which means that they are seeking (what else?)... MONEY!!!

They're an organization called Courtesy Health Watch - they solicit donations for various charities, generally children's charities.  According to a watchdog group - in the past 8 years they've received over $34 million in donations - with only $6 million going to the actual charity.  If you want to give - best to give directly to the charity in need and bypass these bottomfeeders.

I don't know how these people get my number. I am on the "do not call list'. I guess that only keeps honest people honest. annoying to say the least.

This number 941-538-7318 calls and hangs up. I have called it back and you get the recording, its a non working number. These bastards are using phone spoofing so your phone id reads a different number then where they are calling from. I am on the do not call list and I am going to try and get a subpoena on my phone calls to get the correct number and sue.

This is an organization called Charitable Healthwatch - they solicit donations for various charities, usually childrens' charities.  They are a legit company but here's the rub:  since 2002 they have raised over $35 million but only $6 million has gone to the actual charities.  If you truly want to help a charity, best to send a contribution directly to the charity and bypass these people altogether - your donation will go farther and maybe we can put these annoying companies out of business!

Stop it stop it. These calls are ridiculous. Between 8:30 and 9:00 PM. The phone rings says Local Call and no one leaves a message. Please quite waisting your time and mine. Enough.

I get calls from this number almost every day and when I answer there is no one there.  I am not picking the phone up anymore when it is that number, but they keep on calling.  I am on the "do not call list" so why am I getting these calls?

I was getting daily calls for someone who shouldn't even be listed at my home number. I called the 800 number RK listed above, and was able to quickly remove myself from their list (hopefully goes into effect soon). My number is on the federal "Do Not Call" list, but apparently that doesn't apply to rude, uninvited, and relentless calls from supposedly charitable organizations?

I get a phone call everyday from this - I do not want anymore phone calls. (states Local Area call - this area code is not a local call).

This "Local Area Caller" is driving me nuts.  The number calls us 5-6 times a day.

They keep calling asking for office coordinator. They call at least two times a day and won't say who they are from or what they want.

WARNING:

Male caller "Mr. Goodman." He asked for my husbands first name only. I asked to take a message he was rude and just hung up. This is the second call that we have recieved. I did try calling back the first time and it said the number was no longer in service. I thought that was odd. My caller I.D. list the number as LOCAL AREA CALL. These are the type of companies people should never donate too. I see they are listed as Cancer Research. You should always be able to access a company by the number they are calling from. In this case the number is blocked. That should send a red flag off in your mind that something is wrong.

This number calls at least twice a week. When I answer there is only static on the line. When I call the number I'm told the number is disconnected. I have this from other area codes as well. I have had calls from the Cancer Research before asking for money. Since there is only static, not sure who it is. Don't want any more calls from them!

I just got a call from this number, a man was asking for the same thing, he asked to talk with the business owner, called my business. I get several of these calls at my office. It is very annoying. If they are trying to get donations, this is NOT the way to do it.

Get calls from the number and when I try to call back (because I have family in the 941 area) it says number is disconnected. After looking up some information, I find it is a company called Intermedia Communications in Bradenton FL (my home town) I do not want to receive calls from this number.

Said he was calling for cancer research. I kindly reply I am not taking soliciting calls, and he remarks that he not selling anything, so it's not soliciting.  Let's face it, he wants money: Miraim-Webster defines it as "transitive verb 1 a: to make petition to b: to approach with a request or plea"  
DUH!  I refused to argue, he probably wasn't legite anyway!
