Whaaaahhh!

No one ever answers.

This phone number showed up on the caller ID with a Unknown Name. A woman was on the other end, it almost sounded as if she was speaking from far away through a megaphone. Just a lot of background noise.

She stated she was looking for my mother by asking for her first name only. When I said she wasn't home and asked if I could take a message the woman stated she was Debra from Blue Green Resort, that she will call back after and immediately hung up the phone before I had a chance to say anything else.

I just googled the name and here is their website: http://www.bluegreenonline.com/explore/home.aspx

I also asked my mother when she did get home about the company and she had no idea who and why they were calling her.

I keep receiving phone calls and no one speaks

anyone know who this is?? they keep calling me 2-4 times/day.

Calls me three times a day and doesn't answer when I ask who is calling.

They hung up.

Just got the call on my cell.  Since other people have mentioned it, I'm a veteran also.  I don't know if it's pure coincidence, but I still wonder if the calls have anything to do with leaked personal information from a military source.  Needless to say, my wife and I didn't recognize the number so we didn't answer.  Instead I Googled the number and found this thread.  Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't answer the call.  Can anyone else confirm whether or not hitting the "star" button 5 or 6 times really confuses the computer into not calling your number again?

I've been getting calls from this number every day for over 2 weeks!  Something about claiming a free Google website.  I finally listened to the whole message and it had an option to press 2 to remove my number from the list.  I did so.  Let's hope that's the last call!!

Have you heard the tip on the Web about foiling computer-generated calls?  When you answer and get a long silence, press the "star" button on your phone 5 or 6 times.  It confuses the computer so it won't dial your number again.

They just called me from that number.  I'm in Utah and the caller ID said it was from Orange County, California...I did not answer, they left no message.

Just had the number call me, called back and voice mail is full. Interesting.

I got this call all the time, they never leave any message at all. When I decided to pick up the call, they said that I got a $500 credit towards a free hotel stay in Florida which will cost me $199 for 3 nights stay of up to 5 people. He was asking me for my annual income, if I was 25 yrs or older...etc.Then, he was  about to transfer me to a booking agent, since their phone is crackling all the time, I asked if he could send me a flyer.. there was no answer and they pretended they didn't hear me. He wanted to book me a flights!!! This is crazy!!! What is my annual income got to do with making a trip to Florida without my choice of hotel!!?!?!? Is this a time share?

I RECEIVED AT LEAST 8 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.   I WILL BE CALLING THE IC3 OR THE FBI ABOUT THIS.   I AM A VETERAN AND OTHER VETERANS ARE ALSO GETTING CALLS.  I DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY.

Annoying, calling all the time.  Return calls find a mailbox not taking messages - it's 'full'.

I just got a call from (949) 200-7509. I had to say "hello" about 4 times before the caller heard me. It sounded like he was standing in the middle of a daycare facility (kids yelling in the background). He told me that he was calling me to remind me about a contest I had entered at the Denver Airport. Something about a Harley Davidson contest. Ironicially I did enter such a contest. Stupid move. And he told me that there was bad news and good news. The bad news is that I didn't win the Harley but the good news is that I "won $300 voucher for a vacation to either Orlando, LV or a top city of my choosing". He kept going on and on about how it works and that I can take up to 5 people, when earlier he said I could take up to 3 and I could also take children with me. I had a hard time hearing him through the whole thing...but soon decided it was spam. I told him that I had to go to work and couldn't talk now. He said that he could talk to me as I walk. I said that I'm going to drive and I don't talk on the cell while driving. He said that he'd call me back and told me again that he was calling from Orlando Resorts.

I label the number in my phone as "wrong number" and then if I see it on caller ID, I don't answer.  

I do that for anyone who calls and won't leave a message (and I look them up on line and see complaints) and I do it for numbers with annoying vm's left.

Constantly getting calls from this number for the past couple of weeks.  I never answer and never will. Stop calling!  I'm sure they're telemarketers.  Very annoyed!

they won't stop calling! It's relentless and I never even answer!  they've been calling for at least 2 months.  I've called back twice and left messages to STOP CALLING me!  They won't.

I've been receiving calls from this number sporadically.  One day I would get a call from this 3 times, and 2 weeks later, again, 3 times a day. I never picked up but it's so darn annoying.  I wish they would stop!

I received a call from this number today with a message with lots of background noise a a guy said "Hey buddy I can't cut his throat" then "Yea buddy I will help you". I reported it to the police.

I receive about 6 calls a week, usually two in a day. I refuse to answer as it is apparently a fishing scam.

they called my cell spoke to my kid 54 seconds, before hanging up! what the heck. How did they get my number, why did they call, and how do you make it stop?

Received a call this evening from this # 949-200-7509. Its from Newport beach area, Calif.. Calls and no one talks.  Who are these people?? Does anyone know? I have blocked this number from calling my house.

Asked for my wife by name, when I asked who was calling he hung up !   A***ole !

Just had yet another call from this number.  Apparently we won a $500.00 Discount to Napa Valley, CA.
through a ballot we filled out at a "special presentation".   We have never filled out such a thing!
I gave him the toll free number to reach me which is actually the RCMP, the national police agency of Canada!!!
