This is the oldest scam in the book.  They call asking for the shipping manager, then they claim they have a free gift for him, then they quickly sneek in the fact they are going to something like packing tape.  Next thing you know you sign for a box and you get a bill for tape that cost more than your car payment.  When you call them back to say they made a mistake they'll play a recording back that has been eddited with your voice that sounds like you accepted the order.  Here's the thing to remember - they are going to work hard to try and make you say YES or OK in addition to have you give them your address.  Don't accept the package if they send it.  This way they don't have a leg to stand on.  I would love to have the chance to meet these D**ks in person.  

Caller said he wanted to "reconnect" with the shipping manager.  I asked who would that be.  He responded as if asking a question and gave the wrong name.  I commented that he obviously hasn't worked with our shipping manager.  He then blew a whistle in my ear.  ALL future calls from this company will be disconnected without me saying a single word.  Also, noise level in the background sounded like a "boiler" room call.  

Guy calling for our shipping manager but can't remember "His" name but he just spoke with "Him" Said he had the name on a sticky note but the maintainence man tossed it. He kept asking "What is his name again?"  Seeing as our shipping manager is now and has been for quite a while "She" I told him I would need a name to be able to transfer to the extension.  He hung up.

Very Agressive. Said his name was John from Industrial Warehouse. He said he "wanted to get back to the guy in shipping, who would that be?"
Well if that was true he would have had that information already.
Does not sound legit to me.

How many good years you got left on that old car, B? Give them to me. Or at least try to negotiate asome sort of settlement while my incredible offer still stands.

Guy said "Industrial Supply".  Says he wanted the guy who handles shipping supplies.  They are rude.
