Received call from this number this morning, no message was left. When I returned call, the operator message explains that it is a disconnected number and try calling again. Call comes up as the OC Superior Court but there is no way of calling the number back. Scam?

I answered a call from 949-222-9140. It was an automated call from the OC Superior Court reminding me that I have a client that needs to attend mediation next week. At first I thought this was a collections call. It is not.

My office received a call from this number this morning (12/16/2011). When I called back there was a message saying the number was out of service. I wish they would call again so I could find out who they are and post it here on this site. I am positive it was a collections agency seeking information regarding a client but the way they go about doing their business appears to violate the Fair Credit and Protections act. It seems they are just checking the number and really don't care about talking to anyone.

Got a message on my cell phone from this number telling me that I owed $600 dollars and that I needed to pay it or go to court. Tried returning the call but it was out of service???? Maybe someone trying to get $$ ?

I received a phone call from this number and it was a machine telling me I owed 500 dollars and that if I did not pay it my license number would be suspended that if I wanted to make a payment to press 2 i think. I don't have a drivers license so I knew it was not real. At least I dont think it is. Am callin DMV to find out
