This number calls me and when I answer no one is there...I have called it back can leave a message but they don't tell you who you have reached...this is very annoying..on the net it says its "The Clayton Group"?????  Caller ID Says Premier Business...

After a silent period, male voice asked for me by my first and last name, I responded with "who is calling" and they hung up.

I've been getting calls from the 949 area code - I don't answer, generally, because I don't know where it is, or anyone with that area code that I know of. None of the callers from that area have ever left a message.

This is what I sent them on their contact area on their website.

You have called our business at least once a day for several weeks now.  When I answer, there is no one at the other end of the line.

We are on the DO NOT CALL list, and in Washington State you can be charged with a criminal offense for calling someone who is on the DO NOT CALL list.

Stop calling us immediately.  If I receive one more phone call from you, I will inform the Washington State Attorney General.

Several calls with nobody at the other end.   Same experience as above when tried to call them back.

Also reporting this.  I can't stand "businesses" that operate in such a shady manner.  I also called the number back as I was waiting for a client call from that area code and thought I may have missed it.  When I called, I got the same message and stayed on to leave a voice mail.  Then I got a message that the number could not accept voice mail.  If you get a call from them, go report it to the BBB and AG.

Thank you Sam for the info on Clayton Group.  I did some checking just now... called 949-253-4165 again; got the same "no one at that extension, try another one."  I dialed zero and actually got an operator who said he was with Premier Business Center.  He explained that the company calling from that number was not his actual company, but a company who leases space from his company... he transferred me to them... LOCAL SPLASH.  Spoke to someone who, when asked, said her name was Chellette (shellette?).  I asked to be put on the DoNotCall list; her response... we don't call businesses.  Obviously not true.  I'm calling the attorney general to file a complaint since I can't get anywhere with them.  Actually, when I asked for the manager I was invited to call back... apparently they can't call me... maybe they don't know my phone number!

I have been getting calls from 949-253-4165 every day for about 2 weeks.  I have called their number back and get the message "I'm sorry, there is no one at that extension."  I cannot find out who they are, but would like to report them.  When they dial my phone, they never speak to me - just dead air.  I run a business and do not have time for these bozos.

Answered a call from this number and told them I was on the Do Not Call list and ask them not to call back.  After the woman on the other end said she was with localsplash.com and continued to argue with me, telling me I should listen to her, I hung up.  Within 24 hours, they are calling again.

Very rude not to leave a message on my business phone.

Someone called my business and didn't leave a message. So as a courtesy, I called back. But when they said that they're a business also and was just doing some type of web placement or something like that (boils down to, they're not  a client), I told them that voicemail was not invented yesterday and that if they had the courtesy to leave a message, I would have known to put them at the bottom of my list and prioritized calling my customers first (since businesses do run on servicing clients first).  They had the audacity to tell me that manners were not invented yesterday either and slammed the phone on me.  I was firmly telling them that it's not polite to just hang up and not leave messages and then waste one's time to hook you on something like that.  If I had known it was not a client, I would have returned the call at my convenience instead of calling them to find out that it was just a "telemarketing" or some sort... I should have called my clients first.

I got several calls from this number, and when I finally answered, they could pronounce my name correctly. I didn't correct them, but asked what company they are calling from, and the girl said," I not a company, I am a client, but I changed my mind, sorry." That was it. I have been tempted  to call her back.

Got this call on our shop phone and it stated "premier business" didn't answer.

i answered... sounded like they hung-up but then a recorder said "hold for the next available agent"... then the operator recording said, "if you'd like to make a call, please hang-up..." Caller I.D. just said "CALIFORNIA".

Me too, think they're selling insurance
