I keep getting harassing calls from this number thry to sell me some car warranty- I demanded to be taken off their list immediately...they humg up in my ear.  They also call ALL of my friends on their cell phones.  THIS IS HARASSMENT!!!!!

this number called me again this afternoon.  It called me 3 times already this week.  Can someone do something?  It really disturbing.

This phone call really disturbs me.  It calls me at at least twice a week.  Can someone stop it?

I missed the call but when I called it back it stated if I wanted my name removed from the list to press one and it would take up to 7 days to be removed.

They called my cell phone a few minutes ago. It was an automated voice that said this was the second warning that my vehicle warranty was about to expire. I hung up on them.

I have never owned a vehicle that had a warranty!

thanks for the info...i received a call from 949-256-9181 on my cell, never answered the call.  I never do when I see a weird Area Code. then i googled the number and found the SCAM info here.

This "company" is from the US, therefore do NOT have to follow Canadian Law.  Is this country backwards or what??  It's about time we stood up to the US and demand this harrassment be STOPPED.  Call RCMP @ 1.888.495.8501 to complain.

I am from Toronto and keep getting harrassing calls from this number.  They have contacted ALL of my friends cell phones and as soon as I get somebody I live- I say "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST IMMEDIATELY"  This by law, means they CANNOT contact you again. THIS IS A SCAM!

Received several phone calls on my cell.  Not sure where they got the number from.  No message either.  Glad to find the info on this list.  I know now not to answer.

Just received a called from this number and that is 3 times within the last 2 weeks and all different numbers, I didn't pick up the phone. I verified the area codes on the internet and 2 calls came from California and 1 from Las Vegas. I live in Eastern Canada so what is up with that, I would really like to know how they got my number and how can we make them stop. Plus what I have read on this websites, it's all a scam and about a car warranty. I don't even own a car

This must be an automated dialer that just dials numbers sequentially. My cell number is blocked/unlisted. They didn't get it from a dealership. This kind of 'marketing' is the reason I don't answer unidentified calls. In turn, I block my number and then others don't know who is calling. They system is breaking down because of this kind of call. The phone is for my convenience, not theirs!

another car warranty scam.  Same as I reported about a week ago

I got the same call on my cell - press 1 to speak to an agent and 2 to be removed from the notification list.  Very interesting as I just upgraded my cell phone before Christmas - My home number is registered for the dncl but not my cell.  Won't help because this is a California number.

got a call around 6ish and i didn't pick up. i'm not even old enough to legally own a car! this is ridiculous!

My warranty just ended and the phone calls have been coming in since then.  They are coming to my cel phone and this is costing me USA to Canada long distance charges...I'm not very happy.  I think my dealership or GM has given out my number.  My dealership is Saturn/Saab/Hummer in Etobicoke, who is your dealership???

I live in Toronto.  Got two calls from them with a message implying my car warranty was up for renewal.  (I don't own one).  On the 2nd call, I pressed 1 to speak to someone and immediately asked them for information about their business.  The woman said she was from 'Warranty Services' but refused to give an address until I answered a few questions.  When I refused to give any information and it became obvious I wasn't going to she eventually hung up on me.

I also just got a call from this number. the area code seemed very unusual, nobody I would know from that area code that would call me, I do also live in Toronto...so I did not pick up, if it's really important they could have left a voicemail message. but they didn't. SO anyway before calling it back I figured I should do research about the area code and the number on the internet first; Sure enough I saw this forum.

This number just called my cell phone.  Had called me earlier this month at home too!  I don't answer numbers I don't know, especially long distance ones.  I'm also from the T.O. area.
