Call at 9:30 pm in FL From some company saying I had won a cruise !!
It came from 949 256-9165. What good is do not call list ???????? We get 3 to 5 calls EVERY DAY !!!!!!!!!!

I've been getting calls from this number 949-256-9165 and the caller ID says Cruise Award it's a recording saying I've won a cruise via various cruise lines (Carnival, Norwegian, etc.) and to press 1 and to hold on for the next available rep.

apparently charter communication sells there list to these type of pain in the bott folks as well.

what the fricken heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i just got a phone call saying i one a cruise.i fricken didnt pick it up!!!!!!!!!!!it scared the heck out of me!!!!!!!!!!never trust those idiots!!!!!!!

I just had my phone installed today. My provider is verizon. I have already received 10 calls from phone solicitors who know my name, including this number!! I did a little research and found out that verizon sold my personal information to a list! So by adding it to the donotcall.gov website, I wonder if it will do any good. I plan on answering all calls and informing the callers that I do not accept solicitation calls, and to put me on their individual do not call lists, also on Monday I am going to call verizon and tell them I want to OPT OUT of all solicitation lists and calls--if it's not already too late. I am sure there was something in the fine print I agreed to when I ordered the phone service, but 10 unwanted calls in 4 hours is just too much!! I work night shift too, so apparantly I am going to have to shut off my phone in order to sleep. It would have been nice if Verizon had been upfront and gave me an OPT OUT option when ordering service, but their greed overrides their supposed commitment to customer service.

I get the call at 10:30 PST, pick up the reciever and hear nothing, say "hello" and hear a -click- on the other end. I don't know what the point of the phone call was at all but it was really annoying and kind of creepy.
