A man with called stating I owe a payday loan company and I don't pay I will be arrested at my job. So annoying. I know  a scam. Devil is a lier In The Name of Jesus. I will alert the DEA and Departmetn of Justice.

Someone keeps calling my job. I will report them to the US Attorney's office and the DEA.

I got a call last Thursday & he (with a heavy accent) says Im going to jail with all the other losers. WOW...what a professional way to talk..haha. I got 2 more calls today & the last one I said was oh, f*** you & hung up. I called the police department last week cause he said they were coming to my job to pick me up to go to jail. The police department said its a scam. Plus, I don't work nights & won't be there when they would come to pick me up. They just try to scare ppl so they will make a payment over the phone & steal your money. Im keeping a log & calling the police dept. if it keeps up for harassment.

I just received a phone call from this lady/man/thing and was told that I was involved in a lawsuit and there are criminal allogations filed against me. Somehow it had my ss# and knew my address, who the hell are these people. The caller ID recognized the number from Sri Lanka. (949-276-3567) I am going to call the FTC and the tell them what is going on and hopefully this BS will stop.

I was currious about Blue Ridge Law Group, so I Googled it.  It came up as a real law group.  I notified the law office and asked if Ryan Jackson worked as a processor there and told them what he said to me verbally as well as in a phone mail.  They said that person does not work in there office and they have filed a report with the FBI and the police in there city/state.  They got back to me again and did find out that these people that are using their name our out of the country and the FBI is investigating it.  Just thought the rest of you may want to know.

Yep, for over a week they have called using several different number.  Yep, going to be arretsed for serious criminal charges.  These people are idiots to say the least.  When I called them back at three of their numbers and told them I reported their numbers to the sheriff's office they got real loud and rude and background noise went off the chart - I just hung up.  SO beware, they use several numbers.  Common sense will tell you these folks are not legit.

This is NOT Blue Ridge Law Group. This is an extortion scam operating out of India. They are spoofing numbers and using the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the numbers are originating from within the US. ABC News did an investigative news report on this scam in June. They called asking for somebody who doesn't live at my number. After following along with the caller for a couple of minutes and asked if I could come to their office and pay them direct since I own a home in the South OC area. Of course I would never do that however they quickly hung up after I mentioned that.

Just received a similiar call and I hung up on them.   They called back and said they would come and put me behind bars tomottow.  I stated my daughter was a prosecutor for Cook County in Chicago (true) and if anyone was going to falsely arrest me she would have first dibs.

I just thought if they were a law firm why are they calling from an unlisted number. most law firms have toll free numbers for people outside their area to call and no law firm i that know of has unlisted numbers to call. Imagine if all the firms had unlisted numbers. how could we find them or better call them? I don't think that their intelligent what do you think.

I got a message  today for me to call them  and the guys name was John Wilson from blue ridge something. He also called my work and told them to have me call back.
So I did and asked them what was the urgent problem in not so nicely worded. They told me that I was a criminal and they would not want me to call them back and hung up on me. So I called them again and ask for the court where they were so they gave me their number again ant told me that it was going to be handled though the court. So I told them that I reported their number to the FBI and told them that they were looking into it. I believe its a scam of some sort. So beware That if they don't disclose any information to you there is a problem and flags should up.
Yes they must think were dumb. Their number is also unlisted. What do you think?

I have received several of these calls saying there are charges against me and they need my social security number.    If I don't give it to them I will be arrested tomorrow as these are serious charges they say.  I told them not to worry, my friend John from Nigeria promised to send me $5million dollars so I would pay them wiht that when it arrived.

Last Friday 9/14/12 I have spoke with this lady name (Erica Perkins) that I have to pay $600.00 and some change saying that I have some serious charges against me, telling me that basically if i don't make this payment, they will persue the case against me! Which is what they said it was 3 counts of charges. Anyway here i am panicking, agree to make the payment for this coming Friday 9/21/12 bec. If i don't they will have me arrested from my job or home. Anyway she asked me to go to WalMart and get (green dot money pack voucher). Got me thinking then, if this place that i owe money from like they said i do, they would contact me themselves. So then I'm very-very suspicious about this whole thing so i google this number first, the one that left me a message, before i talked to this lady. 916-288-9343 turns out this people are nothing but telemarketers that have your info. This people are very convincing. But you know what I won't fall for this one. If I have a warrant of arrest in the system they would just simply come to my job and arrest me, I've owed cashing places before but they garnished my wages for it. And I owed more than what she say I did, that's the legal way. So I ain't paying a penny with people!!! They have American names but sure don't like it...

I received a call from this number which left me a message.  They said they had a serious complaint against me and I better call back.  If not, they feel sorry for me for the action that will happen if I don't.  They also have called friends and family to let them know that there is a complaint against me and that they better call me to tell me to call them back.  Not quite sure what is going on, but I did file a complaint with the FTC.  I didn't have much to give them.  The person from this place said they were from Blue something and his name was Ryan Jackson.  He had a strong accent.  I'm going to call the place back today to see what it is all about and to see if I can get documentation on this so called complaint.  I'm shocked that a business or what ever this is can get away with contacting me and my friends and family.  They also have called my work.  I hope I can figure this out and get them to stop.

the same thing happened to me as did the others. The caller stated his name is Matthew Jones from Blue Ridge Paralegal. I goggled that paralegal service and came up blank. I was also transferred to a lady that stated I was being sued for outstanding payday loan. She could not tell me when the loan was taken out and which company provided the loan.

Same ifformation as above wih this caller by the name of Eric Gibson.  He said uif you are your assigned attorney does not call me back things will unfold in you. Each time i get this message on my job their is a new name everytime this man calls like he is from somewhere in a foreign country.  I do not know who or where this unk nown person got my work number or cellular number???!!!

A man, David Jones?, with a very thick Indian accent leaves a message stating that if I do not call back immediately or my appointed lawyer does not call back immediately he does not know how my future will unfold but he would only be able to wish me good luck!  I called back once and was able to leave a message on a Sunday.  Otherwise, it's a busy signal.
