FCC needs to make their own call to these folks!

Left a voicemail message today 5/21 stating my debit card was suspended too!

Went through process, they did not accept my debit card number of
1111-1111-1111-1111

Yep, looks like they're hitting MI folks today. I just got a call about my debit card. Umm, ignore! ;)

Automated voice. Saying "We regret to inform you that your debit card has been deactivated". Then I'm supposed to press "1" to get a live representative. Didn't feel like engaging with flammers; did nothing and they hung up. For the record, like many others who have commented here, I do not have a debit card. Whoever is responsible should be penalized.

Just got the call myself.  Live in MI.  My voicemail only caught the tail end of the message - a woman saying "security department."  

Recording left saying.. hold while we transfer you to the security department.  Extremely suspect.  

Same as others report. Be careful!

Same thing happened to me moments ago. The bank name in the recorded message was something like first commonwealth bank

I am in MIchigan as well and just got this call. I couldn't make out the message, but it did have to do with my debit or credit card being suspended. Thanks to the people that created this site and all who have posted.

Called and said debit card was suspended and asks for bank acct info. Call from Orange County CA area but my bank is in MI. Scam!

Just got the call with the same "suspended debit card" recording. I reported the number to the donotcall.gov site.

Yep, just happened same bank, same message.

Caller is running a phishing scam claiming to be a bank, and saying my debit card was temporarily suspended..."press 1 now": to have your information stolen.

I get unsolicited calls from this number. They say "This is to notify you that your debit card has been cancelled. Press 1 to reactivate your card by speaking with a representative in our 24 hour security department. " I checked with my banks. They said this is somebody fishing for information and not the bank. They advised me to not give out any information.

Most of the message was cut off, but the end was an automated voice saying "...press 1 now and you will be transferred to our 24 hour security department." I believe it's just a spam robocall.

Called me at 11:11 am today identifying them as First Commonwealth Bank and a recording came on that my debit card was suspended and if I want to un suspend to enter the number.  I ended the call there.

Same exact message about debit card here.  Yeah right, don't think so!

my whole family got this same call this morning about our debit cards being suspended and we all live in Michigan too.

Called me at 9:27 am today and a recording came on that my debit card was suspended and if I want to reactivate to enter the number... I do not do business with company they claimed to be so i just hung up

Called my cell at 8:30am here in Michigan reporting my debit card had been suspended and if I wanted to reactivate. This is a phishing ploy, do NOT give your personal information.

These people call me 5 or 6 times a day and your correct the do not call list does not work...they just use the next number 714- 574-1234 then 1235 then 1236

Called cell phone. Telemarketers trying to sell solar stuff.   Even being on the do not call list doesn't seem to stop them from calling.
