pay attention - it does not say you have been in walmart, it just identifies you as a walmart shopper, which you confirmed - if also does not say you have won a walmart card and it does not specify what purchase or where the purchase was made that led to this so called win it just says your purchase last month so it could easily refer to a purchase of a roll of cheap toilet paper at the local 99 cent store or anything else - when googling www.vcardsecure.com (please DO NOT click the link) there is no info given on the complaint websites listed, (GOOGLE DOES FLAG SEVERAL OF THE WEBSITES AS BEING MALWARE INFECTION HISTORY WEBSITES) and the other ones want you to "click here" to find out more and then they want a "small fee" to join and get info on this and other websites, so the message to your cell perhaps could be used to drive you to one of these supposedly scam reporting websites that will extract a fee from you as well as procure your credit card/debit card info so all you need to know is that this is some sort of a scam and get away from it and that will insure that it does you no harm - you might report it to your cell phone service carrier and they will give you some lip service but they are not responsible for protecting you and don't really give a crap less about you as long as you pay your bill and they can tie you up to their crap service with some sort of contract :)) i'm really getting going now so i'll bid you good luck :)

I also recieved messsage claiming that I won 1,000 from walmart.... What the hell I even spent money off of my cell phone because it took me on line which I do not have on my cell, now thats going to cost me money I dont have!!!! I'm so sick of these scams!!!!!

I GOT A TEXT MESSAGE on my cell phone YESTERDAY THAT SAYS:

"Dear Walmart shopper, your purchase last month won a $1,000 gift card. Click here to claim:
www.vCardSecure.com (quit2end)"
So I figure this is almost certainly a lie, but I thought it would do no harm to enter the site into my browser just to see if it might be legit. If this had been an email, I would never have looked at it twice, but since it was sent to my phone, I thought it might be real. I recently put my cell number on the national "Do Not Call" registry, so this is doubly wrong.
then it re-directs me to:

then, Avast (antivirus) suddenly pops up with:
"YOU JUST DODGED A BULLIT...WE SAVED YOUR COMPUTER FROM CRASHING..."

The (SCAM) site went on to say "we'll send your card just as soon as you select [buy] 2 items from the following list..."  This is a really cruel scam to pull on someone like me.  I have been out of work for almost 4 years now, and I'm scraping for every penny.  This burned time/money off my cell phone, and more importantly is going to cost me many hours of my time to correct.  These people are preying on the desperation caused by the economic crisis we are going through.
