These people are sending unsolicited text messages to cell phones. If they ever show up on my phones again I will start a class action suit against them.

I am almost positive I haven't given my number to any sort of company in several years. These guys are sending TEXT messages to me! I got one in the middle of the night and it woke me up, then 2 during the day today. Is this legal? I would like to sue these people. Very upsetting. I dont like receiving calls/messages from those I dont know, ESPECIALLY solicitors.

Thanks to stop spam in your comment Sept 22, I have filed a complaint with FCC because of the unsolicited solitation from "Lowerpaymnt.net" (note - they mispelled "payment") about loan modification.  I also pay for each text message and I don't appreciate or like this at all!

Got a text message from 949-300-2524 through verizon,blocked texing on all phones, verizon said it would cost me $9.99 for the message on my next bill. How would they know were to send the money to the party that called, something fishy with verizon?????????????

I received the same text as others above, and am liling a report with the FCC.

I received a txt from 949-3000-2524, please report all spam texts by filing a complaint at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm so that the FCC can fine the originating company and force them to stop this illegal practice.

I got the same text quite a few times, most recentelly at 1:33 am 9/14/2009.
I've asked to be removed by text and it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas. Sucks to be woken up to this.

I received a text message offering me a loan. I am charged for every text message. So I had to pay for this unwanted intrusion. (Thank you sir, may I have another?)I am thinking about blocking ALL texts because of this a**.

Replying to my own comment, if you try to call the actual number, 949-300-2524 it won't connect.  What a fail of a spam, the domain doesn't exist so you can't visit the website and the SMS spam comes from a number that is not in service.

The domain name of "loanmod-gov.org" is fake, it doesn't exist...yet.
