Won't stop calling.  Web site says they won't contact but they do!

The called me, but didn't leave any message.  When I called the number 9493798001 back, a man told me that they called for home loan.

Answered, however nobody responded. I could hear talking in the background, like a Customer Service, or telecommunications firm. I called the number back, and you get a few clicks then it hangs up.

Do no call me again.

Answered, nobody responded.  Called them back from a different phone.  Its a mortgage assistance co. that calls people who inquired online.

Got a call from this number. When I said hello repeatedly they never replied

I just found this thread, and I work for CDA Law Center. As a law firm, we do not make any outbound cold calls, but we do purchase real time internet leads from attorney referral services who find hand-raising consumers requesting to be contacted for ethical loan modification help. Our firm has helped people with their loan modification needs for over 3 years and we have an "A" rating with the BBB. When a lead comes into our system, the system auto-dials the consumer in real time, as one of our representatives will be on the phone for when the call connects. Given any technology, it sounds like once in awhile the technology does not work or we are connecting to a cell phone so there may be call connectivity problems, thus the silence or dropped calls.

Please note, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY OUTBOUND COLD CALLS. If you received a call from us in error, it is likely that someone filled out an online form requesting help, but did not use their real phone number, and provided us a wrong number which turned out to be yours. We apologize for this incovenience, but people tend to play on the Internet and if they provide us with a wrong number, we will be calling it to follow-up. We honor all DNC requests and we will opt you out from further calls if we called you in error and you request to be opted out.

Also please note that there is a Debt Settlement Company using auto dialers to generate calls, and they go under the name of Consumer Debt Adovcate. They used to advertise on TV, are based somehwere out of Florida, and once had a website up: www.callconsumerdebtadvocate.com.  They offer Debt Settlement services which our law firm does not offer.  I know they are abusing their robo-dialers, but our firm has no affiliation in any way with this company.

how rude!!  when i asked them to stop calling, the jerk made unnecessary comments and hung up on me!!  he said he'd never called and that i had a problem.  i called back and told him that he didn't not have to be a jerk and that i had several missed calls on my cell and he told me to "get a life"...i also have him on VM and he asked for the wrong person and left his name...ANTHONY...

the other number is 949-379-8041 based in Irvine, cali.  they asked about mortgage stuff when I don't own a home.  BEWARE!!!

I got a call from 949-379-8001.  said hello 3 times and then they hung up.  Got a call in august about mortage stuff.  I don't own a home.  Told them they had the wrong number.  That call was from the Irvine, Ca area. Probably major scammers!  Be Very suspicous!!

This phone number has been calling my cell phone but they won't say anything. I do not want to call it back just in case it is some sort of scam

I have been getting these calls also on my cell phone. They let it ring one or two times and hang up.

I just called them and they said someone must be calling to see if I ever got help with my mortage payment, I was like I don't need help with my payment and he said ok thank you and hung up

From Irvine, California.  Don't know anyone there.  Who is this calling me?
