Had the same voicemail as a few of you a few months ago.  I ignored it, my husband didn't.  He was told he had an outstanding balance on a bank account that was closed years ago in good standing (and we've had two car loans through the same bank since with no mention of a balance).He asked for an itemized statement asking what he owed before he paid anything.  Without ever giving them our bank info, this company made an unauthorized charge for over $800 to our bank account.  After a quick fraud investigation our money was returned by our bank, but I just received another call from them.  This time I blocked the number.

In March or April 2014 I started getting calls from this number from a very droll fellow who implied he was an attorney..  The first call was the automated threat 'if you don't call us by 10am " call.   So I was curious and called back the next day.  That's when I got the "attorney"..  He had SOME legit info like my name and the name of a creditor I actually DO owe money to.  I give him credit, he did go to some effort to make it look legit.  I already smelled a scam but when he started to push me for payment information I KNEW.  I've had someone else try to pull the same scam on me (different crook) about 5 years ago. I called back and left a voice mail (during normal business hours) saying he would have to give me some proof that he was  a legitimate debt collector before I'd be willing to hand over my charge card info.  .He could be anybody!    After a few days I got one more call asking me to call him back and gave a so-called 'file number" for me to reference.  (Guess he forgot that little  bit the 1st few times).  A couple of weeks passed and a few days ago I got an automated call from the same number, this time identifying itself as PCMA. I think that they think if they persist, I will cave.  Not this girl!  That's what led me here.  Glad to know my instincts were right on.  

I just got a call from them, but the number is now 2630 instead of 2638! But it was Dean! Will be blocking this!

Had this number call about 5 times now. Called them back and surprisingly got through. I run a photography business and they said they work with google and they will get my business on front page. I told them to stop calling me and he laughed and I hung up.

Pacific Coast Mitigation Associates is an affiliate of Printing Industry Credit Bureau, just click on the collection services tab at their website.  The president of the company is Andrea Schlack, her cell phone number is 847 212 6525.  Let her know how it feels to be called by her employees.  She can also be reached via email at andreas@picb-us.com.  I emailed the vicepresident of collection services about their overzealous employees to no avail.  This week I sent them a legal document at their Santa Ana address, but since it is a scam  and I live in Virginia, I doubt they will abide by the law.  I will have to return each call I receive to Andrea Schlack then.

I got the same robocalls, i blocked the number and researched, PCMA is affiliated/managed by PICB-us.com, located at 5250 Grand #14-122, Gurnee IL 60031, the president of the company is Andrea Schlack, phone number (847) 265-0400.

Just got call from 9493812637 and hanged as soon as the robocall started.  I found this site after searching the number, and I must thank the previous persons for your posts.  I will block this number.

I received the same voicemail message. We have a new landline and have been getting calls for random people, so I've been calling numbers back once a week to get us off as many lists as possible. The guy that answered at this number used some mumbled sounding business name (like saying BCMN really fast), so I told him we had a new number and I was letting him know not to call this one and we straight up got into a yelling match by the end of the call. Jerk. I can't believe they're that cocky; I hope they get tossed in jail, especially after seeing a law firm has investigated them. They also use 949-812-4687.

12/11/`13  On answering machine: "This is PCMA. We've tried to reach you several times and you've not responded. Call 949-381-2637 before 10 AM tomorrow or there's no need to call. That's 949-381-2637."  Of course, I did not call such a blind order, but did google the number to discover this helpful report about this being a scam. Thanks.

I received a phone call from a John Caruso and he said was with PCMA ( can not pronounce the name of the company and can only use letters!!) Amazing huh??.  It was for a Bank Account I supposedly had for over 4 yrs and I supposedly owed over $2,000.00 for a over draft check.   He wanted me to pay it today.  He could not tell me where the bank was located, or even the state it was located in.  I have had the same bank account all my life and it is not with US Bank.  After a few words were said, I told him he was the stupid one for even thinking I would try to pay for something I don't owe!  He ended up hanging up on me..yes..me!!  I didn't have to hang up on him!  I had him speechless when I was done with him after telling him..who's the dumb one now??
This PCMA (or whoever it is) is not trackable through the internet.  I do believe this is a fraud company trying to get your money.  Do not set up any payment plan over the phone!  They wil also call people you know, even if they have all the information they need, and will try to intimidate you into paying for something you do not owe!  Be real careful with these idiots.  I am now researching ways to turn them in.  The first place I went to was the Attorney Generals office and filed a complaint.  Next step..I am on a mission with it!
I am not stupid, dumb, ignorant or senile!  Obviously, he sure is!
Anyone have any ideas about who to go to with a fraud case..let me know!

I put them on the "Do Not Call" and they still call.  It is just a recording, they don't even ask me by name.

I got a call today, and finally there was something on the other line. I answered the call, and usually when I do all I get is dead air.  Well this time there was a woman on the other line, but it was an automated service type call.  I don't remember her name but the number I got was to call back (949) 381-2637 by 10am tomorrow or don't bother calling.  Okay.  Didn't want to call anyway ya bi***! lol

NO DON'T SEND THEM MONEY PEOPLE....seriously?????  NO!  They're scamming people.

My boyfriend received several calls from these people about a debt with US bank. Although he did have a debt with them they got the amount wrong. They threatened him saying that if he did not pay in full by the 1st that they would take legal action and that they would garnish his wages. Against my judgment(I knew these people sounded fishy and I would have told them to screw off) he agreed to pay with a post-dated check that he would send in the mail on the 1st of the month(June). He even received an email saying this is exactly what he is to do. But the 1st rolls around and they take the full amount out of his bank account without warning! Unfortunately, we had some financial troubles that month and we're completely flat broke and almost left homeless after they did this. He tried calling repeatedly only to have them hang up on him repeatedly. His bank said there was nothing they could do at that point either.

Now, about three months later US bank calls trying to collect their debt. He tells them that he paid it several months ago to PCMA and of course they tell him they've never heard of that company and that they would not have authorized that transaction. So they not only harass people but they're thieves. Needless to say we're calling a lawyer today.

I spoke with a so called Jenny also the problem is different for me, the company is calling my house for no one that lives in my house and she preceded to argue with me when I told her do not call my house again for this person who don't live in my residence. I'm gonna contact the person that is getting a class act settlement together these people are definately messing with the wrong one here.

I would also file with the FTC, FCC and your state attorney generals office..

OMG I am so glad that I googled them.  Same really rude guy leaves a vm message YESTERDAY and scared that crap out of me.....if you don't call, don't bother calling.  I called them back, got the same voice who answers Mr. someone.  I asked him his first name and he wouldn't tell me like he's some sort of attorney or something.  He had a reference #, I got forwarded over to JENNY who tells me that I owe from 2003 overdraft, I'm going to be put on check systems and will now get a judgement unless I pay them 5,000 dollars.  

Someone out there please help me and tell me if I should set up a payment plan or not.

We received the same call from that number. They left a message that if we don't call back by 10:00 am the next day do not bother. They said they  have left several message which they didn't. I called them back to ask them  what this is in regards to, they said they wanted to verify are address so they can send a 1099 form to the IRS  I told them that only a federal or state agency can file anything with the IRS, then she started reading me some kind of statement about if you account is 6 months overdrawen or more them 600.00. We have already sued two collection agency and won. Everyone should know their rights. IF they contact you tell them they need to send you a letter within 5 business days from the time they call you, if they don't then that a violation against them. I am reporting them to the AG office also with the FBI this was told to us by are consumer Lawyer who helped out on the last 2 cases. Also he did research for us on this number he thought he is a scam could not find no listing for this company in calfornia..

Same as above. Has been calling my recently deceased husband. WHAT? Pacific Coast Mitigation something or other. The latest was a recording (no vm) of a woman's voice that said "We've repeatedly called you. If you don't call by tomorrow morning, there will be no money..." (??? Something like that. It trailed off).

Keeps calling my business which is a group home that houses developmentally disabled adults. They keep calling after I have told them the person they are looking for doesnt live or work here and we dont know them.The representative was very rude so I got rude back the jerk told to me I need too come calm down WHAT!!!! Then he hung up on me. What kind of people are these and who are they?

I received this message about 6 times now. They keep asking for a Peter Scott. I do not know a Peter Scott. I refuse to answer the phone when this number shows up on my caller ID. I did not keep the recording, but they did say on the first one it was about an apartment some place in California. Since I haven't lived in California in over 15 years I knew it wasn't for me. I too was told yesterday if I didn't call them back by 10 am this morning, not to bother. So.....guess what???? I didn't call back, so I am hoping they will leave me alone.
