Got my first one from (714) 310-4875.. Reported to DNC.  Maybe someone should flatten their tires? Or start a mail bot to their marketing website?

This same company has dozens of phone numbers and now also goes by loanmod-gov.net (rather than .org or .com).  Filed a complaint against each number with the DNC Registry.

I have unlimited text messaging, so at least I'm not PAYING for the priveledge of getting spammed. My message was from 562-472-6617; it is about to be reported to the Feds.

I have received 3 text messages about loan modifications, loanmod-gov.org, from 3 different numbers. The one constant is that all the texts came after midnight.

Received a text msg. about loan modification. loanmod-gov.org. Claiming they could help with late mortgage payments. I am listed on the cell phone Do Not Call registry. How did they get my number???

OMG - I finally had a morning to sleep and my old light sleeping dog was snoring away. 3 frikken a.m. my text ring goes off. That was the official end of my night. I'm thinking there's an emergency at work and I need to go in or a friend with a problem. No - it's these jerks. 714-454-7576 loanmod-gov.org with basically the same info as everyone else has posted about the message. bB I went and registered my cell phone. I'm fuming...

I too have been getting these text messages on my cell phone in the middle of the night. Each time its a different unreachable number and different URL that also does not work.

I have registered complaints on each number that has left theses text messages but I am sure nothing will be done.  The only help I got from Verizon was to turn off text messages which again was no help.  Last year I had to have Web text messages off for the same reason.

Has anyone replyed to the message to find out who these people are?

No, they're just using the "gov" word to make them look important.  They texted me at 12:15 a.m. and I'm really mad!

We feel your pain!  They texted us at 12:15 a.m.  (loanmod-gov.org) from 951-321-9617.  I am not a happy camper.  I texted whoever back at 7 a.m. and hope I woke them up :-).  Seriously, I'm going to register as many complaints as I can.

My 7 yr old son's emergency cell phone is getting these texts. He is on No call List. Complaints must be filed with FCC! This is violation of FCC...regardless of whether you are on the no call list.
This was from loanmod-gov.org. Definitely NOT a government site. From cell number 9492939759. Go to FCC page and file complaint. I hope they go to jail. Maybe we can do a class action suit to get them to pay our cell phone bills.

Received the same "Homeowners, we can lower your payment" message.  This came through on my work cell at 4:40am.  This phone is typically for emergencies only so it caused alarm.  This has to stop.  I am on the
"Do Not Call" list.
