RoboSpam.  They must have done a huge sweep because I own a call center and several different companies got a call from this number all within a 30 minute period.  DON'T bother answering or calling the number. Best to let it ring and go to voicemail.

I got a call on my personal cell phone number that IS LISTED on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST from GOOGLE advertising, solisting & wanting me to list my PERSONAL cell phone number with their DUMB a***s!!!
EXCUSE me.............................I am NOT a f****ng prostitute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why else would anyone want to list their PERSONAL cell phone number on GOOGLE????? Get you heads out of your a***s GOOGLE................................I do NOT want or need your f****ng unwanted/unsolicited phone calls & I will NOT list my f****ng PERSONAL cell phone on your stupid f****ng site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that Larry is worried about his credit card - I believe that Larry is under the employ of this bogus company and is taking this chance on this website to further promote the cause.  I've seen this with other bogus calls.  They get on here and give a rave review of the listed caller and their product to further deepen the level of bull$#!t.

so i gave it the twilight zone theme - 3631 3631 3631 and it hung up on me.... a-holes

like someone else pointed out - some people can be too naive/trusting and actually believe it's google or whoever they claim to be calling when in fact it's most likely a bs telemarketer or worse

When I called this number back I too received a weird message. The message said Hi, i'm John and I am a fool for revealing my covert operations to someone that already knew and just doesn't give a f..k!

First part of message says " we've processed your order", then it starts
Google Marketing advertisement. Telemarketers pretending to process an order that I didn't place.

you don't have any idea who is actually calling.  That's a big problem. You should check with your credit card company. Personally, any robo call gets canned as soon as it is received by my business.

I actually signed up with them before I read these notes.  To my surprise there Google marketing actually worked! I was going to call my credit card but I said lemme wait and see what they have to offer. I have gotten over 15 calls in 11 days so far and 7 jobs. Thats not bad in my industry. So I guess what im trying to say is, maybe you dont take the call, maybe you tell em screw you, or maybe you give them a chance. Google works and apparently not all robo calls are scams.

I have a call today from this number 949-478-1822.  I am on no call list.  I'm gonna sue this telemarketer.  They call me at dinner time. I didn't answer it.

Prerecorded message claiming to be a part of Google Marketing. One of our employees actually does work with Google as a volunteer, and said there's no such department according to his colleagues in Mountain View CA. Just another marketing company dropping a big name trying to drum up business.

I got a call Friday night from this weird number so did not pick up suspecting it is some scam. No voicemail was left though.

949 areacode is Orange County I think.  That is south of Los Angeles, I service Oregon, Not southern California.  It's a google seo company.  I called them back, left a voicemail to have them go forth and propagate themselves and hung up.  I had nothing better to do.

I haven received a couple of calls from this number but have been told by others about it - so I do not answer but the person keeps calling -

Google marketing, or so the caller would like us to think.  Truth is, people are way too trusting..that is,
they believe that an authorized Google Rep is calling. Bottom line, and I hope this is obvious...one doesn't know who is on the other end of the line..especially when a potential scammer is hiding behind a robo computer.

i got a call from this phone number today 9494781822 when i called back i got a weird message. the message said hi i'm john, i'm a do***e bag, and i like to commit people to mental institutions and defraud people of their money, so i can support my sexual desires. i can't remember the rest but i tried reverse phone lookup and all i can get is it's a land line in california. i'm gonna find out who this f*** is and report him.
