There is a legitimate company called CashNet USA, whose loans are actually marketed by Advance America.  I have received this information from our local state's attorney, so I can assure you all that this is a legitimate post.  The REAL CashNet USA actually has a number you can call if you have been contacted by the PHONY "CashNet" people, because they are running a worldwide scam.  They use names of companies which sound very nearly legitimate, and their so-called "officers" and "collectors" are typically outsourced from India or another country.  Some fraud calls have actually been identified as coming from the continental US, but are probably VOIP.  These callers use such phrases as "do not disregard this message," and ...."your attorney of record."  They also sometimes say ...."I can only wish you luck as the situation unfolds before(upon) you."  Please report these calls to your state's attorney and your Attorney General's office.  The legimate companies out there are being given a bad name by the people who use their names to commit fraudulent acts.  You may or may have never had a payday or installment loan with one of the legitimate companies for the bad ones to have your information.  Use caution in sharing and never give out bank acct info or SSN to one of these people.  Lenders or collectors who are on the up and up will never ask you for that kind of info, and will always be willing to verify debts in writing.

Keep receiving calls from 949-528-2400.  Caller is extremely rude, have told him repeatedly not to call my cell phone but continues to do so.  He is very un-professional and refuses to tell me his name or for whom he works for but expects me to tell him anything and everything he wants to know???.....I DON'T THINK SO!

Cashnet USA is a scam. They will call you and tell you about some loan you never had and then threaten to have you locked up if you don't give them money on the phone right then and there. They will ask for credit card info or checking account info. Then when you call them, they try to lie and say that it's not them and that they are investigating the complaint. So, NOT TRUE!!! They don't investigate crap because these bloodsuckers are the ones who are robbing you in the first place. Call the authorities if this happens to you.

I never took a loan out to this customer. So I got up the morning and call by bank and see if I had and transcation from this company Cashnet Usa. And a finny thing I never had any trancastion. I have to call the social security people. Because they have all my information. If you ever try to to try apply for a loan online don't because they can get your information from there.  So now I have to flagged on my personals. Information. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PEOPLE. ( don't ever apply for a cash loan online because some how they have a way to hacked your information.)

I  have  had calls fro m   these people and they  said they  were not with cashnetusa   and wanted  money.  the  guy  said he  was hired   to collect money.   he was from  another  country.  I had  a arguement   with a couple of them .  I reported  them to the local  police.   one confessed to me  that he called over   500 people  every day .   The one  goy called me nasty names  and  I told him where to go.  He  then  hung up  em they are a scam  and they hold tOne time i wrote down the script  and read it back to the guy. He was frustrated   and hung up.   I have told  them they are a scam.  The best thing to do is not to let them talk  at all  thanks for all of your  stories.   Sometimes i wonder if cnu    is hiring  these people   to get their money   which   is not right either.

THREATENING PHONE CALLS TO MY CELL AND WORK NUMBER.  THEY SAID FOR MY SAFETY, I WOULD PAY THEM.  IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Same type of call...they are very hard to understand.  Very rude and very, very threatening.  Different number though..661-210-4683.  They say I borrowed $400 and I know owe $1056.  I asked for information in writing and they said they didn't have any.  But everyone here is right, they try the major scare tactic and I'm not buying it.  I called the number back and asked what company this was and they asked for my name and I said I just want the name of your company.  The Indian sounding guys said DON'T EVER CALL BACK HERE AGAIN!!  So I think this is the same type of company.  They are saying that I owe Cashnet.  But I know I do not.

I got the same phone call at work and the guy was indian or something... He had my name and phone number...

I RECEVIED A CALL LIKE THIS ALSO FROM A SCOTT MILLER. BUT HE CALLED MY WORK AND MY CELL PHONE.

Yes I received a call from this gentleman named Brian at work. When I started feeling funny about the call. I proceeded to look up the phone number online. When I saw this page I started to confront him about it. I contacted Florida State Attorney, they suggested that I contact California
State Attorney. I plan on taking action against this harassment. If there is anyone else like me put up a post so we can put a stop this foolishness

As i stated earlier i too have had this experience. I involved my lawyer and they called these people and as soon as they did i recieved one other phone call from the group telling me to no ever call this number again. I have not heard from them since. So maybe you should contact a lawyer or maybe get someone to act like your lawyer.

I received almost the exact same message... said "do not ignore this call or you will regret it in court.  you have twelve hours to contact me or have your attorney contact me.  If you ignore this I wish you the best of luck cause your going to need it."  He cannot speak English at all and is extremely rude.  He will not tell me his name or the company he works for, "none of my business" is how he put it.  I have repeatedly told him not to call the number because it is a cell phone number.  However, he continues to do so atleast twice a day... how do these people get their numbers?  My provider says they do not sell their numbers.... This type of thing is NOT ok...

I received a similar call earlier this morning from a guy claiming to be "Brad". His message said that it was impairative that i or my attorney call him back immediately and that the situations was time sensitive and to not disregard this message. He also said that if we did not call back that we would suffer the consequences tomorrow at the courthouse at 11 o'clock. he wished us good luck and a good day. So I returned the call. The guy was extremely rude. Said that there was a suit to be "downloaded" against me when i stated that i didnt know what he was talking about he kinda stumbled on his words and said he would answer any questions i had after i recieved the affidafit. I hung up and called my attorney to see what they recommended they in turn called the number back. They stated that the guy was extremely rude as well and refused to tell them what company they were with. After my attorney hung up on them they called me back and left a message saying his name was "scott miller" that they had spoke to my attorney and that my family and my attorney were frauds and that I would suffer the conseqences tomorrow at the court house and to not call this number back. You could tell it was from a call center of some sort as you could hear similar people in the back literally screaming the same convesations to other people. My attorney suggested calling the state attorney general and giving them all the information that i have on the situation. What they are doing is illegal.

I received the same call from 949-528-2400 stating that they are Law Firm of CashNet.  He did sounded Indian, awful connection and can't even hear him at all and extremely rude on the phone.  He said that if I don't return his call he will contact my payroll department and persist on wage garnishment.  What do you think I should do?

Got a call AT WORK from this message.  He told the receptionist that it was regarding a legal matter so I asked her to put it to my voicemail. When I retrieved the message the connection he had must have been terrible.  He sounded Indian...like from India...these people are desperate to screw up people's lives!

My best information to tell you is to call your the FBI and report it! It is a scam to get your money! My mom got the call, called me, I called the number to get information by blocking my number. They wouldn't give me any information also told me NEVER to call the number again. So I would call the FBI to report it.
