received text from 949-636-6863. This is a scam. Government should follow up and find the people scamming everyone!!!!

I got a text at 6:13pm today: Dear Walmart shopper, Congratulations you have just won a $1000 Walmart gift card. Click here to claim your gift. www.Click4Wmart.com cancel: reply STOP
Reeks of scam. Walmarts coroprate website states clearly they do NOT offer a $1000 gift card!

Plus why would Walmart text me, when 1. They do not have my permission to. 2. AFTER close of business on a Friday when corporate is closed Sat - Sun. and 3. Ask me to click a website where they spell their name wrong!?

I think its a spam and a scam, if it were real, I am sure Walmart would have had contacted me through some other appropriate channel, rather than texting me to visit some malicious website.
I am wondering, how did they get my number?!
