Here is another collection number probably from a pay day loan lender.  Can not understand the guy, sounds Asain.  He is wishing me good luck if I don't call or have my attorney call him back ASAP.  Whatever.  I have spoken to an attorney and they can not do anything to you unless you have actually written them a check.  Sometimes if they are postdated and they knew you did not have the money to repay the loan at the time they accepted the check, they can not do anything to you then either.  I did not write a check to this pay day lender and they are still calling and threatening me.  Just wanted others to know that if you were as desperate as i was and took out a pay day loan that you will never be able to pay back and you are being threatened with jail, THEY CAN NOT ARREST YOU FOR A DEBT.  DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR JAIL THREATS.  CALL AN ATTORNEY AND GO FOR A FREE CONSULTATION IF IT WILL EASE YOUR MIND.  I don't usually not pay my debts, but when you can never pay these things off and you have paid back the actual amount you owed and they still are coming after you, there isn't much more they can do.  I am not paying back 300% interest!!

These people keep calling. They call my work only usually now.
It's embarrassing tho. Co-workers think they are bill collectors and when I take the phone I tell them that that person does not work there. They are not available and blah blah. I tell them stuff over & over. They just stay on the phone & say stuff that I can't really understand. 2 different men have called me now, but it is usually the same one. The guy who said he is Ricky Simmons. He is really rude.  I don't know where to report all of this.

It's DEFINITELY a scam.  Report them to the FBI, the FTC, local law enforcement, and your Attorney General.  They are extortionists hiding out in India.  DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY TO YOU.  THEY CANNOT ARREST YOU, SUE YOU, OR DO ANYTHING TO YOU.

I have also received several phone calls from a person Kevin Jones about an old payday loan from 2005, apparently I owed them $1800, wel  I paid them $250 and then realized that this was a sacm after pulling my cc report and not seeing anything with an old payday loan on it, I pulled all 3 as well.  I then closed out my debit card because they had that number that linked to my checking account.  They call me several times on my cell and at work threatening me.  I want to put an end to these scams, please let me know how I can help.  Is there a way for us to get our money back??  whats scary is that they have all of my personal information including my ss number.

I had the same thing happen to me said I had taken out a payday loan in 2005 and us bank was involved and I would be arrested if I didnt pay this back he wanted me to pay $5741.00 I am not sending someone that amount of money until they can prove to me that I owe this and validate this debt so I faxed them a letter and told them that they called again and said if they didnt get there money there would be a arrest warrant issued for my arrest for bank fraud ect anyone hear of anything coming out of this? How long will they keep calling? very scary to get a call like that.

So, just so everyone is clear - what these guys are going is very illegal. I have gotten tons of calls from them over the past year or so, which started not too long after I started using payday loans from time to time. They scared me once after I declared bacnkruptcy, but now my lawyer is in it. We did some digging after they called and threatened to send someone to my place and work and embarress me in front of my colleagues or send police to my home and scare my family and friends. Ive also gotten calls of them threatening my life. These calls all sound like others on here - from some indian man or woman claiming to be an investigator and usually you can barely understand them because they are also messing their voice with some machine or something - you can tell.
Anyway, according to my lawyer harrassment like this is against the law. According to US law, it is illegal to threaten, lie, claim they are police when they are not, and threaten to sue or arrest you if they arent planning to within 24 hours. This includes companies that go outside the US to get groups like these to collect money since the debt was made in the US. However, we believe that these people are not even hired by some company. We think they are a group of people that buy your information from online payday loan places so they can sollicit you for info and steal your money and even your identity. You probably do not own anything but as long as you have done business with a payday loan, these other people have your info. Have you noticed that YOU have to provide them YOUR info when you call? All of it? A real agency would have your info already. Plus, if they were going to sue or arrest you, you'd get prior notification in the mail for a suit or they would judt show up with a local police officer with no warning since they wouldnt want you to run. So dont give out your info because they can then steal your identity and/or steal your money. These people are CON ARTISTS!!!!!!!
My lawyer had talked to them. I have tons of times and we keep trying to get their real name of the business because US National Bank is fake and their address. My lawyer wants to issue them papers to sue. Every time we ask they are like, let me get the manager (or whatever it is cause I dont understand their jabble) and then they are like, you gotta call some other number...so last time I told them i wasnt going to call their long distance number because I knew they were frauds and I was going to sue them and shut down their $2 an hour company and take their food from their mouths and put them in jail where they belong where big men could make them their girlfriends. I said, get me your info if you want this settled and I can guarantee I'll have my lawyer and tons of cops on your doorstop within 24 hours. The guy said his manager would call me back....guess what?! He didnt. Knew that was coming.

Just be careful everyone. Dont give out your info. Be mean to them all you want because what they are doing is illegal and they cant touch you. And from now on, if you gotta use payday loans use the ones in your neighborhood rather than online because they would sell your first born to these people if they could.

I just received a call from some foreign dude, couldn't understand his name. Well I let him ramble on and on about needing someone to bail me out of jail.  As he was talking I pulled up his number on Google to check and make sure who he was.  Well anyways, I let him go on for what seemed like forever and he asked for my attorneys name.  I told him get a pen for his name & number.  See, I just filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy and Route 66 and United Cash Loans was included.  He would not take my attorneys number.  I proceeded to tell him that I would report him for violating the bankruptcy laws and that I would also be contacting my local authorities.  He hung up on me!

I've received the same types of calls from these two phone #'s starting on April 21st.  They called my home and my direct line at work.  Same story - you're going to be downloaded, good luck as the situation unfolds on you, Cynthia White/Ricky Simmons "Restitution Officer:, US National Bank, blah, blah, lie, lie lie, lie, lie...

  I have a question for all of you who have experienced thse calls.  Did any of you appy for payday loans of apply/take out payday loans with any of the following companies:  B.I.G Ltd in the UK, Route 66, GLFIS, United Cash Loans, or any others.  These companies are all owned offshore and are all owned by the same person in London.  Many of th epeople you would have dealt with would have sounded like they were from India or Britian.  I'm trying to determine if these calls are related or unrelated to payday loans - since they have said something about "payday loans on the internet in 2005" to just about everyone, and they sound Indian.  

  EVERYONE - PLEASE ROPROT THIS TO YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE FTC, YOUR LOCAL POLICE.  I would also encourage you to report it to Chris Hansen at Dateline NBC - if enough people complain, this would be a great show for primetime television as NBC has the resources to chase these scumbags all over the globe and expose them.  They will listen if enough people write.  I'm thinking this may very well be related to B.I.G./Route 66, etc. and thier cousins.  How many of you DID take out loans with these companies? That could be how they have our information.  I did, but I payed them in full. They are known to do this.  Harrass people and threaten them even after you've payed them.

I received a message from Keith Parker to call me this number 949 658 1305, when I call the number they told me they had some bad new for me that I owe them $1000 and that I had to pay using my debit card to pay the money the next day or they would file a judgement against me.

I just got a call with the same details - how do you get off these lists??? Help!! This is mortifying!!

I received a call from what sounded like Indian/Parkistan accent and I could not understand the message.  This person called again identified himself at Kevin Jones, and I asked him the nature of his call. He hung up, immediately called back asking for me. This time I hung up, and needless to say he has called 5-6 times a day, and will call various office telephone numbers.  This is not only annoying, it disturbs my workday.  I called him back and told him my name, and again asked what company he represented or how could I help him.  I stated to him, I was reporting his harrassment to the the Police, FCC, FTC, Attorney General's office etc.  
I wish I knew what he is saying half of the times.  I continually hang up if I see the number 856-831-0640 on the caller id.  Other times he has a left the 949 number as a call back.  People answer the phone "hello", or you can hear call center background noise.  None of them speak English.

I received a message on my voice mail at work saying it was an important business matter and I needed to call immediately or my attorney would need to call immediately and if I failed to do that legal action could happen.  He also kept saying may god bless you.  The number they left to call back was 949-682-1305.  He had a very strong foriegn accent and was very hard to understand.  Needless to say I will not call back!

I received one of these calls this evening myself.  Person by the name of Larry Owens, who speaks with a strong indian accent, proceeds to tell me that they are downloading criminal charges against my social security number.  When I pressed him for information, he says that I obtained a loan in October 2005 for 750.00 and never made a payment.  He didn't want any money, just that he wanted to make me aware that I would be arrested and that I should get a lawyer.  As the call progressed, he then indicates that he would be willing to work with me - to prevent me from going to jail.  They have a copy of my credit report in front of them and are seeing that I have had many payday loans.  I have, and they have all been paid.  He tried to tell me that I owed them 1684.00 including late fees, legal fees, etc.  When I tried to get information on the loan, he kept saying that the company that the loan was obtained from was  US National.  I have no recollection of this company.  None of the payday loans that I have obtained over the years even came close to 750.00 being deposited.  When I pressed him - he told me that they never received not one payment.  He wants me to believe that a financial institution is in the habit of lending people money and then waiting 2 1/2 years before they start going after them.  He told me that I am not the only one.  How do they stay in business????  I have to admit, the thought of them calling my employer is a tad mortifying but I know that I do not owe this money.

They called me at work, which is a state operated facility. Said that I owed them money from a payday loan from December 31, 2005. I had no idea what they were talking about. Said that I could settle for $834. He said his name was Ricky Simmons. He was definitely foreign. Gave me the number 949-682-1305, but called from 856-831-0640. I called the number they called from back & it was just a busy signal. They said that I had committed check fraud and I could be arrested at my work. If they call back, I plan on reporting them to the police, state's attorney, & attorney general.
Also, I found out after they called me that they have called my mother at work(we work at the same place) wanting to talk to me and would not tell her specific info so she hung up on them.
They also told me that they were going to download my file if I didn't give them my cc info. He said he would call back in an hour and it has been an hour & a half now.

I have decided to strike back at these people...if you have ever had a payday loan they will call you.  For 2 years now they have called me.  I am very concerned about people who may not know about these con artists.  PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY INFORMATION OR BELIEVE A WORD THEY ARE SAYING.  IN AMERICA, YOU CAN NOT BE THROWN IN JAIL IF YOU OWE MONEY, THE "RESTISUTION" OFFICE DOES NOT KNOW THIS.  THEY ARE NOT IN THE U.S. THEY ARE IN INDIA...TODAY I DISCOVERED THAT THEY ARE NOT IN PAKISTAN...I WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU POSTED.

I've received a number of calls from these same people...all calls have been threatening in nature, if I don't pay, my information will be "downloaded", my supervisor, and the commissioner will be notified of my continued refusal to pay and I will be arrested within 24-48 hours.  I am to send the money, $6200, to them by the end of day; this was supposed to be for a loan taken out in 2005 and never repaid because my bank account was closed.  At first, I was extremely frightened, but then realized, that they are attempting to extort money; and after reading all of these other posts, it would seem my assumptions were correct.  I will be notifying the attorney general and will be filing a complaint with the FTC.  I hope everybody else will follow suit so they bozos can be shut down!  Thanks for listening...

Someone by the name of Shawnra continues to call my place of business and said if myself or my attorney did not contact them immediately they would have a warrent for my arrest.  They also said they would keep calling until I returned their phone call.  They have been told I don't work in that office and they were given the correct number to call and they continue to call the main office.

i was contacted at work. they called the phone in the breakroom of all places just as i was about to eat lunch. needless to say i was scared to death because the man i talked to (sounded indian as well) said that if i didn't pay off the amount i supposedly owe ($1600) that my case will be "downloaded" and i will be arrested after 11:30 on monday. after stating that i do not know where they got all of this info from and telling him that i don't have the money to pay anything right now, he tried to bargain w/me and split it into 3 payments. when i asked that something be faxed to me stating how much i owe and who i owe the money to, he simply said that he could only send me a receipt after i make a payment. so he didn't understand my request, obviously. jail sounds scary to everyone, so of course i got upset, nearly had a damn panic attack at work, chest pains and all, and i went home early because i know i would worry about this all day. i work with patients in a clinic and can't be near tears and panicky all day. these people really suck. i am filing a police report and speaking to an attorney. these people need to be shut down!

These calls are coming from India I believe and appear to be a scam to try to extract money from people.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.  REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY TO THE F.B.I.  They left a death threat for someone I don't know saying he owed a debt to them.

This foreign sounding man that I could hardly understand kept leaving a voice mail on my cell phone....today he said was the final call!!!!  Thank goodness, because he has been leaving a message for 8 days now!!!
Today was the first day that I could UNDERSTAND the phone number he wanted me to call and when I called, I was told the mailbox could take no more messages.  I hope this was his final call.

i was called and told i owed on a payday loan i am to pay now or i will be arrested.they wanted debit,credit or money wire.basically money with no trace.i also have the police researching them too to fid out if it is ligeit.i have  never received any summons or bills or papers about it in the mail.they never gave their company name either.kinda got a good feeling this is a scam.

I too received a phone call from a very poor English speaking indivudual Asian or Indian). I told the individual they were calling did not live in my home.  Insisted I identify myself, I refused. The individual hung up, I called back and he tried to force me again to identify myself.  Whatever you do DO NOT provide your name.  My assumption is that once you provide your name, the calls will be directed to you.

Called stating that an attorney needed to be contacted immediately.

Said if I didn't call an attorney, all she could do was "wish me good luck as the situation unfolds".

She sounds Indian.

A person with a bad accent (Ricky Sharp)sounded like he was from India. He told a co-worker that it was important that I contact him before things get out of hand and I get a court date to appear before the grand jury.

Yes the same threats from sone barely English speaking person wanting me or my lawyer to call or as he says constantlly " OH MY GOD" and " May God have mercy on you" And of course " suffening the consequences" is mentioned as well. Why can't this company or person be stopped. I have determined that he lives in Laguna Niquel California.
