Are you a Cox customer? The DNC registry only works with companies you do not have a business relationship with. If you're a customer, they can call (unfortunately)

I answered the call the second time. They are selling new products from this number. When you call the number back it is "a non working number at Cox communications". My assumption is that it is an empty desk that they put any number of temp callers at whether to collect bills or cold call...

cox called me 3 times never left a message. finally answered and they were trying to sell some new tv bundle. hopefully they stop calling me now.

I received a call from Cox earlier today asking how service was at one of the properties I manage. I told them I wasn't comfortable talking to them and told them if we have any issues with their service, we will initiate the call. They said OK but have called back three times, each time hanging up as soon as I answer the phone and give my name. What do they hope to accomplish other than irritating the you know what out of their customers?!

I've been getting these calls at all hours- My Bill is Paid and up to date. I finally spoke to someone and it's a BS "Promotion deal" I told them to F off and never call me again or i'd change service providers and I also explained that i'm on the DNC list. I further told the rep how many other peeps are pissed off. The rep actually cared and seemed to want to resolve the issue. i told her to F off again and hung up. Maybe it'll help....

I keep getting a call from 949.709.4813 and I answer, but no one is on the other line! It appears that it's a computer generated call and it does not have a person on the other end + their message is not being heard! Go figure..........

received two calls from this number back-to-back minutes after I hung up on a company calling themselves F.R.C. Certain Internet blogs say that F.R.C. has been mailing out yellow postcards promising "good news" when you call 1-877-475-4027. I called suspecting it was a scam and a woman named Nicole gruffly and rudely asked me for some personal information. I declined and hung up.
I missed the two calls from 949-709-4813 shortly after I hung up with the 877 number. I tried calling the 949 number back curious to find out if they were related but I got a busy signal and my cell phone read "call declined." Interestingly, the area from which I called the 877 number listed on the sham postcard is the area covered by the 949 area code...

This number is from Cox Communications Account Services. When you call back you may get a busy signal or a recording during business hours which says that you received a call because: 1) marketing, 2) upgrade or 3) billing issues.

I got a call from both numbers back to back. I just Called and both numbers are from cox communications. when you call back a recording says that you received a call because 1.marketing, 2.upgrade or 3.billing discrepanices.

i also receive calls also from: caller ID: CCI OCPV (TELEM 1-949-709-4813) and they occur ALL THE TIME. when i hit redial to ask them to remove me from their call list it doesn't even ring, just dead air as others also report. super frustrating.
PLEASE, if you are getting these calls go to the below link and report the number so we can all put a stop to this nuisance. i just did - strength in numbers!! many thanks!

This number keeps calling my cell phone. It's annoying! I've had this problem before and it seems like they eventually give up, never leaving a message.
