Caller called my cell several times and did not leave a message.  When I tried calling back, it rang and rang; finally I heard fast beeping, like someone was typing a number on the other line.  There was no voicemail message however, and no answer.  I also received calls from 949-748-6167 with the same results.

Caller called my cell and hung up when my message picked up. A variety of 949 numbers have called my cell every few hours in the last 2-3 days.
