they probably looked it up on the internet sadly...or maybe you were listed as a reference on their auto loan. ive had ppl that i and my husband listed as references contacted the few times weve been late asking about our payment and if that reference could tell us to call about our owed money. they seem to think that harassing the person's references is going to help.

They need to leave me the hell alone. i cant pay them the money they want...i dont make enough money. my husband earns the bulk of our income and neither of us can pay until WE get paid. Daily harassing phone calls are not the answer and apparently bill collectors dont understand this...but they need to learn quick before they get sued for harassment.

Got a call from this number stating that they got my request for some form and needed my email address. WTF?! I never asked them for any form!! How they hell did they get  my cell phone number. If its about our car they should be calling my husband...not me. My cell # was never listed...only his.

I get calls daily, When I answer no one is there or doesnt respond. If I miss their call they do not leave a message.

Called for my husbands nephew and wife and said they need to contact them regarding a crime their car was involved in and said they were from CPS??????????????????  How in the hell did they get MY CELL number??

They just called me looking for my husbands nephew and his wife, said the same thing except she was from CPS and needed to inform them of a crime involving a car of thiers????????? WTF is right!!!  I am glad I checked this out before I called them to tell them!!!!!!!!

Keep Recv.unwanted phone calls people are selling our information to these crooks,when we are forced to provide our personal info for financial goods and needs...the feds need to do something about all these scams and identity theft...its out of control!!!!!

Consumer Potrfolio (CPS), keeps calling my prepaid cell phone. I've told them numerous times that it's for emergencies only and to stop calling it unless they are going to pay for my minutes. Bad enough when my job shut down, they refused to lower the payments. They even called my neighbors. My neighbors were furious. My neighbors don't even speak to me...smh

Someone called from this number; they left a message saying they were lookiing for my sister and that they were calling from C.P.S. Of course, I'm thinking, "What's wrong with my sister and her kids? Why is C.P.S. calling?", well, it's not that "C.P.S.".

I come here and check the number, and it's actually a collection agency it looks like to me. how deceptive. The v-mail message also said that "C.P.S. is looking out for Sylvia's well-being and they really need to talk to her to make sure everything is okay and they'd like for me to get her a message". WTH???@!#%!!!!

They are actually "Center Portfolio Services"... A collection agency.

This place call and threated me, but telling the can take my house and everything I have. Name of these lady Hydie Gracia... They are so disrespectful and rude. These people get on my Damn nerves, Also I don't own the sh*t.

The call is coming from Consumer Portfolio.  It is a debt collector for automobile loans.

Called for a nieghbor says her phone is no longer working and do I know the new number...

This man keeps calling one of our cell phones looking for a William Henry.  He has called too many times to count and we have told him several times we don't know who it is.  Yet again today, he acted like we were lying saying he had this phone number.  i finally told him to call the phone company if he wanted to verify it was NOT Mr. Henry's.   Please have this rude man banned from using a phone!!

They called me once but I missed the call....when I went to call back the phone will just hang up! Very annoying!!!!!!!!!

They call all the time but never leave messages. You cant call the # back it just hangs up.

Called and asked for a random name.  Name came up on phone as Reggie Santos 949-788-5600.  don't know who it is or what they want.

Keeps calling no one answers want it stopped.

This is a company in California - they purchased my auto loan from ACC Consumer credit ... called today to inform me of the purchase.

Keeps calling my daughter's cell phone over and over and over...Never leaves a message and can't call it back.  Then they call me on my phone to tell me I never return their calls and threaten me!  I'm filing a complaint against them.
