We all have our opinions, but I would like to hear it, and then some rationale for it.

For instance I had bad experiences at Nissan car dealerships and won't go back, but it doesn't make Nissan bad.

SEO companies have to have a relationship with Google, whether or not it is a contract I don't know. But a working relationship.

Not true.  Big companies can buy their way onto Google's first search results page, but it is 10s of thousands of dollars.  Take a look at the section of the page where people pay to get listed. You won't find a Ma and Pa store there, only the Giants.   Where or not you like SEO type services is up to you, but lets keep the facts straight.

Same thing, auto-dialer, press 1.  I've asked to be removed a bunch of times.  The last time I started singing a lovely song about how I hated the calls and then hung up.  Two seconds later, dude calls to ask to speak with the owner, I give him the head office number and my name.  He tells me he's going to call my boss and tell him I cussed him out.  I said 'Go ahead, effer!'.  Called my boss later to see if he had.  The chicken didn't even do it.  Cannot WAIT for the next time!

These woman calling from this number today was rude, argumentative, and dishonest.  Avoid like the plague!!!

I got the same thing, a call and no message.

This person asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling, he gave his name, then waited to see if I'd respond, he then went on to say he wanted to know if she wanted to have her listing in google raised. I said No thank you and hung up. I am NEVER going to give my credit card number or personal information to someone who solicits me by phone. There is no way of knowing if they are legitimate or a scammer.

425-406-9023 is an Automated Caller, press 1 to update/verify your listing.  Guy answers, I tell him that I want to be removed from the calling list, and he argues with me that I need their service.  I told him it was not for him to decide what my business needed and that I wanted off the list.  Well he couldn't take me off the list, it was a dialer that calls.  I told him I was on a Do Not Call List and he kept arguing with me that I needed his service. I finally told him to just take me off the F***ing list and hung up.  He called back on 949-797-7199 and threatened my husband that we had just made it worse for ourselves and he hung up.

Apparently another new number 949-305 7075 from the 29 Prime, Reliable Places, Paramount SEM, New Era SEM and Billboard Local Scam Group Inc. Many of their old numbers have been discontinued as they quickly gather complaints.  Some of their current active numbers are 949-777-6616, 949-797-7199, and 513-202-6395. I returned their call I missed, and they said they called earlier to help with my "internet solution".  I lied and said I was already using 29 prime, to which he just replied "Oh, OK". Had this greenhorn I spoke with not been with this group of scammers, he would have asked how I liked them and give me his companies pitch.  I called back a few minutes later to demand I be removed from the call list (not that it does any good).  Got the usual "what is your number" , to which I gave my standard reply "the one on your caller ID, you #@*&%!! dumba$$".  He said if i didn't give him my number, he would continue to call every dqay.  Big deal, they do anyways.  So i call back several times to let him know exactly what I think of his ilk.  Once got his voice machine and his recording stated his name as Kevin Seman.  BTW, CallClerk.com working great, I just miss crapping on these deserving telemarketing scums, lol.  Have fun :)

Being rude is a good idea. I tried it but then I wasted 3 hours of my time being rude to an entire boiler room. I'll admit I loved each and every moment of it. I am not the type of person that gets rude at people but if they start it, then they deserve it. They deserve to get crushed both physically and mentally.

Being polite, or not answering a tele-marketer, or adding them to the  FTC's near worthless DNC list will not make them go away.  The proof is in the tens of thousands of numbers listed on sites like this.  The only solution is to be as rude and crude to every tele-marketer, every time.  They have no problem with interrupting 999 people's daily routine to get their 1 scam completed.  If they had to listen to 999 people like me for every 1 scam they completed, they would soon find other employment.  Reliable places/29 prime has a horrid reputation, see http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Search ... ch-CA-100098611  Additionally, they use multiple numbers and here are some the ones I have posted to date:  949-777-6616, 949-797-7199, 513-202-6395.  Many of their older numbers have been disconnected.  Its working people!

Reliable Places: This 'business' is ridiculous! They had called the day before and talked to an independent contractor who works in our office. The independent contractor told me about it and I told her if they called again to tell them to buzz off because it seemed like a scam to me.
They interrupted my morning to call and say that I have no visibility on Google (which I do) and started spewing off the general 'Buy my ad' script. I declined. They had originally asked for the independent contractor (which confused me because I am the office manager) then there was some garbling and I got a different person on the phone. I told them I was not interested and they needed to take me off their call list. I was nice and they continued to talk over me, argue with me, and ultimately yell at me.
I hung up not wanting to waste more time and 2 seconds later they called back! I answered the phone and told them to not call that this was a business and hung up again. They called back.. again... And asked me when I became the owner. They thought the independent contractor was the owner when I had told them specifically on the first phone call that she was not and that I handle all the marketing, vendors, ect.
These people are rude and like to harass businesses and individuals. I suggest picking up the phone and telling them to go jump off a bridge.

These people POSING as Google disrupt business on a continuing basis.  Multiple times a day!  Being on the no call list is useless as it is not enforced.  Pressing 9 does not do anything.  But, I have found that pressing 1 and listening to the rep say hello hello multiple times gives a bit of satisfaction.  I just think of these not Google scammers now having to PAY someone to answer my response to their robo call interrupting my day yet again.  Already today I have gotten two calls...one from the 949 area code and the same robo from an 805 area code.

Apparently Tasha speaks without doing her research, since I've been on the genuine do not call list for over 5 years.   Doesn't seem to do much good, but at least there is a sort of legal recourse.

i call them 15 to 20 times in an hour, i also tell them if they don't like the call then they can report me to the fcc. I would be very happy if others would help make these calls to the telemarketing companies. I have my phone line blocked. if 100 people called 5 times a day for 30 days, they would change their phone number, it isn't much but it is a start & it will hurt them in receiving business calls in & slow them from outbound calls.

They called to "confirm" my Google placement.  I asked the gentleman what company he was from
and he said Reliable Places.com, he was nasty as can be and said whoever was handling my google placement wasn?t doing a good job!

SHE CALLS 5X A WEEK AND I JUST HANG UP IN HER FACE WHICH MAKES MY DAY HAPPIER SOMETIMES I TALK TO HER AND ASK HER HOW SHE SLEEPS KNOWING SHE IS ANNOYING SO MANY PPL ALL DAY AND MAKING THEIR LIFES HELL.... They call my home phone to sell me something for my business (not that I would deal with these guys in a million years). If I want an SEO, there are plenty of good ones out there. I don't need a robo caller bothering me at home.

People who leave bad reviews say that ReliablePlaces is a scam have obviously not used the service before. Word to the wise.... SEO is a real thing. Eventually it will be a requirement of being in business. If you want to find something...do you use your smart phone or do you pull out a phonebook. If you are reading this post online... I assume you know how to use a computer and understand the importance of being found online. Sometimes a bad apple gets hired and people have problems. I know its wrong to assume things but...really? GE has somewhere in the ballpark of >60,000 bad reviews. Any company in business understands that you can't please everyone but if you have never used the service and you a reviewing it as a scam. I assume you know first hand, because you were rude to someone who's trying to make a living and calling their business a scam. They are here to HELP. Treat people on the phone with the same respect that you expect to be given to you and you will find a world of difference. And that can be applied to any situation in life where you are not getting the desired results and life will be a much happier place for everyone.
