I just received a call from the same number. Some guy who said his name was Terry and he was from H & R block. He wanted to take a 2nd look at my taxes if I wanted them to. He said if I have any questions to call them back at 8669416127. Not calling back, but just passing on the info.

It is the H&R Block Call center - I dont know why they asked for your last 4 they usually only need that info to assist you with a question directly concerning your return or to make an appointment. They only have the right to call a cell # if you release them to do so. You need to ask your preparer next year to mark your cell as unavailable, but then the office cannot call you on your cell either. :( catch 22

This number is being used 949-812-7813, on my caller ID is says H & R Block. I called this number numerous times and it is a cell number, I don't think they would be calling clients from a cell. They asked me for the last 4 numbers of my SS# and stated that they have a new program they are using to help track your taxes, I have contacted our police dept. and contacted our local H & R Block. Any further info would be useful. I believe this is a SCAM!!!!
