just got a recording on my work cell phone from a male at this # stating he needed to verify the address and other "details" about this business.  Why is this number not disconnected yet??? My phone is on the do not call registry.

receiving calls from this no and others in from Calif scammers

I just received a call from this number. When it went to voicemail, they just hung up without leaving a message.I've read enough articles about these illegal telemarketers to know that they are just scammers/thieves. They try to get you to call them back, and if you press any numbers - if you get through - then you've just "agreed to purchase" something. It can show up on your phone bill.

I also received a text yesterday, from a number with the same area code, telling me, "I just got my mom an iPad. This is a number you can text her on it." I wrote those two sentences exactly the way they did. I have 2 siblings who live in my city, and my mother has passed away. it's just another trick to get you to accidentally "purchase" something - just by texting them back. Just delete, delete, delete.

Tired of this number (and all others) calling me .... spam calls is all it is.

He asked for my GF by name.  I offered to take a message.  He said he'd try again later.

I could hear background chatter like a boiler room.  The caller was slow to respond like he was working with an auto dialer.

This is a scam. They bought your info from somewhere and are calling to get the rest of the info. Dont tell them anything. They only have the last for digits of ur card num, your name and phone num. If u dont tell anything else tjey cabt do anything.

They just called me as well. They said I was already charged, but I never authorized any transactions for any magazines. I looked over my statements for all my accounts and I didn't see anything.

Received a call asking for my spouse but all they would say is they were calling from the CRI.  No idea who they are or what they want and when I called the number back it said it was no longer in service.  Some time ago we were being harassed by a magazine company and had to cancel bank accounts and such now I'm wondering is this them again?  We have ordered nothing and I won't be giving them any info so they can go pound salt.  There should be a way for these people to be brought to justice for putting people through all this annoying bs!

This is the 2nd time they called to lower my rates of which I never subscribed to....I don't know where it shows up on my credit card but I have been receiving magazines??? Could anyone explain how to cancel this...he kept saying that in order to cancel He would have to forward me to his manger BUT before he could transfer me I had to answer personal questions that had NOTHING to do with MAGAZINES!!!!! Also I am on the do not call list?? Isn't this a violation!!!

I just received a call from this number asking me about my monthly magazine subscriptions. I have never signed up for a magazine subscription or given out my credit card. They stated that I was being charged $40 a month. I have not seen a charge on any of my credit cards. I asked them to make sure my account was cancelled and they hung up on me.

I just got a call from this number to my cell phone.

Just called.  8:15 PM EST.  The whole thing was in spanish.  I just got home phone service last week.  I pressed one because I couldn't understand anything, and the lady said it was the law for them to call me and then hung up on me.

They just called, heard my anwering machine message and they hung up.
