Stop calls from W C Golf Club
jdh 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
This number is from Warrior Custom Golf, at least when that number calle me.
2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Definitely Warrior Custom Golf. Weird thing is that I have never golfed before. I told them so. Not sure where they got my information but, yes, very VERY irritating.
Sara 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
I got their free hybrid and lob wedge back in July, then they conned me into "testing" their 3-5-7 woods for $100 each. I actually liked the 5 and 7 woods and kept them, and sold the 3 wood to a buddy that liked it. Since then they have called me virtually every day trying to aggressively push a real estate investment on me, for some golf course named Broadmoor in North Carolina near Asheville that they have allegedly purchased and another which looks like a failed real estate development called Nocona Hills near Wichita Falls, TX. They also own two courses in Florida that can't be making much money at $20 for 18 holes, plus another course in NC that at least looks interesting with some elevation change. They want a minimum investment of $17,600, which they have said has been paying a return of 6% quarterly.
Does anyone here have any information about this investment opportunity of theirs? Anyone fallen for their investment and been scammed? Anyone actually receiving the claimed 6% quarterly return on their investment with Warrior Golf Properties? The guy that I talked to yesterday told me that if I hurry-up and get my money in by the end ov the month that I will get a full share of the returns for the 3rd quarter. I am having a hard time believing their claims, the Nocona development looks dead in the water from Google Earth. All 6 of their golf courses have the same cheap website. I am on the "do not call" list too, and I don't appreciate this thing turning into high pressure investment sales for what appears to be a highly questionable real estate investment, with no time to do much in the way of any checking into their claims. All I can see online are hundreds of complaints about Warrior Golf from multiple sources, with a bunch of fake responses from Warrior claiming otherwise. .

they call me everyday, sometimes twice a day. I picked up once and nobody answered then I'm not taking that number again. I'm in the DNCL and made another complaint aginst that number and they said they will investigate and asked all my personal info in case they need to go further to sue them. I'm still thinking that's not gonna work. Maybe we should send thousands of messages to their email so they will so f**** up and they will shut down the business. Or call Golf Channel that's responsible for giving my email address to that s**t company.

keep getting calls and hung up on, and when we call back we don't get ahold of anyone.
rickeyanddani 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Sometimes they call three times in a day, never answer it. Read one of the messages and mentioning the Attorney General Office of Consumer Protection sound as a very good idea
lagirl 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
they call at least two or more times daily. how do i get rid of them?
Michigan girl 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Got a call tonight. After saying hello someone on the line said "I'll tell him I'm a salesman". When I said my husband wasn't home. He said "Screw You!", and I hung up. Very upsetting. I don't have caller I D so I used the *69 feature.
Bob 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Numerous calls over the past 2-3 weeks. They never say anything;just call then hang up. Never any messages left on our machine.
I have never played golf in my life and live on the other side of the country.
Seems like abuse of the phone to me. Maybe SEC or Cox California Telcom, Inc needs to investigate and shut them down for abuse/ harassment.
bnol 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
i got a free club from the 6 YEARS AGO!!! And the calls come in at least 4 times a week. Used club 3 times before the club flew off the shaft. POS product from a POS company.
Pete 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
This number has called me twice in the last two days with no answer.
BP 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
I receive between 5 to 7 calls a week, all hours...Being on the DNC list evidently means nothing to these companies

Definitely from Warrior Custom Golf. Like a few others in this thread, I took the bait on their free club offer for demo'ing a driver and set of fairway woods. I managed to send the clubs back, keeping the freebie, but it took an act of Congress and a kidney to get them to back down and suck up the loss. Kill 'em with kindness and continue to refuse their products and they'll eventually quit dropping the price on their clubs and refund your money. The clubs must not be worth that much if they're so willing to reduce the price to dirt. The "sales rep" I spoke to stopped just short of giving them away for free. After that incident, they kept calling my cell trying to push some investment scam for a golf course. The dingbat script reader on the other end spoke a million miles a second which is a good sign that you shouldn't consider "investing" in anything they might be offering.
I told them to stop calling, but it's doing no good and like many others am also on the Do Not Call Registry. Many new cell phones are equipped with a block feature. This helps a little bit, but scammers find ways around it eventually. One thing that might help is to answer the phone and tell them you've got your state Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection on the other line. That tends to shut 'em up pretty quickly. And if you ever need to actually use your state's AG office of Consumer Protection for any other online based scams or semi-fraudulent activity, by all means do so. It's well worth your time.

Dates and Times calls were received: 4/17/09 5:43 PM, 4/7/09 7:04 PM, 3/31/09 4:05 PM, 3/17/09 6:56 PM. We did not answer.

Warrior Custom Golf- WCG..... very very aggravating!!!!! Wish they would quit calling. They call at least once per day and quite often twice per day. They never say anything when we answer it. They just hang up.
Dave 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
We get multiple calls a day from WCG and I haven't even played golf in since before my 4 year old was born. Yet they have called at least twice a day over the last 4 years.
JJP in PA 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Phone number (949) 916-6015 called and my TW Cable displayed WCG on the Caller ID on the TV.
ts 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
they called me 2x today. didn't answer the first time, picked up the second time, but no one on the other end.
wilsonced 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Rec'd several calls, never an answer, cannot call the number back because it is always busy. Sounds like Warrior custom golf has an automatic dialer, and if they get a body connected all others are not answered. Tough business.
Chul-Soo Jo 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Several days ago, I missed a call from (949) 916-6015. I called them back and it was connected to their auto-response system to sell something.
I got another call today, and the caller said something then hung up.
I searched on the net, I found it's a scam from the Warrior Custom Golf.
erinp 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Rec'd several calls from them. Never answer because I don't know why they are calling us.
me 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
I get called about once a week since my husband requested their free golf club about 5 years ago. I pick up, say hello, then the caller hangs up. Quite annoying.
D in Midwest 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Caller calls Lovely Wife's cell a couple times a week. This has been going on for several months, we never answer this one and have never called back.
Justun Seymour 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
I know this number is from Warrior Golf. I actually called them 2 years ago asking them to take me off their call list. They didn't call me for about a year, and now they call me at least once a week. I wish they would stop!!!
Dorothy Carpenter 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
Please do not call my number... thank you W8J9
babar 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
These clowns are relentless. I have asked them to remove my number numerous times but they still call. I have called customer service, emailed them etc. I have had 3 calls just this week.
Rick y 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
That number is for Warrior Golf Clubs.
Roger - Kansas 2011-06-06 21:07:44 Unknown
I called and left a voicemail at their sales/customer service lines that they are in violation of the Do Not Call laws and that I was turning them over if they do not remove my number from their database or dialer. I googled their website and found this email address cs@warriorcustomgolf.com and also their numbers. I suggest that anyone getting phone calls call them and complain. Their sales # 1-800-600-5113 Open 7 days a week. Their Customer service # 1-800-580-8622 Open Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM PST.
