They didnt say a word to me

this number all of a sudden started calling me at all hours of the day

THis number called me 7 times back to back. i dont have a car to have insurance i am only in high school

i read all of these messaeges and it seems like every one they call is from cal im from tx so why in the hell would they be calling me?

Rec'd a call from 949-954-5138...  She started out by saying she was calling from "California Auto..."  Then switched it to "Colorado Auto Insurance"...  Tried to tell me they were MY auto insurance company...  I asked to verify the phone number and she told me they could not do that...

I'm buying an BOAT HORN for these B4ST4RDS...

Said they were from "California Insurance". I told them I didn't use Ca insurance and they hung up. Nice.

IT HAS TO BE A TOTAL SCAM!, I WILL CALL THE COPS ON THEM LOOSERS

Glad I am not the only one! They 'claimed' they were from 'my' car insurance company trying to "update their information so they REaccess my car quote..."... I replied, "you are from Mercury Insurance?"... "Yes, Mercury Insurance".  The questions were harmless, then she asked what cars I had insured..."Um, you should already know that.. you tell me and I'll tell you if you are right."  "No ma'am, we aren't allowed to give you that information!!!

Glad you posted something b/c a SMALL SMALL SMALL part of me thought it was a legit call from my ins.!.. small part of me!!

Received 2 calls from this number today! Both times, they hung up!

returned call and recording said to call back during regular business hours.  No message was left when call was made to me.

I got a call from this number saying they were checking back in regards to a previous call. It was for an auto insurance quote. They asked me to confirm my marital status and birth date before telling me the reason for the call. I have not been researching any new auto insurance.

Yep, I've been getting a call from this number for the last two days. I also got a call a little over a month ago from 949-256-3311. I generally don't answer calls on my cell phone that I don't recognize. If it's so important to call me twice in a row, why aren't they leaving me a message? 949 area code is located in Orange County, CA by the way...

Keep calling many times a day all throughout the night and everything. They call and let it ring once and hang up and keep doing that.

They don't leave a message and would like them to stop calling.

NOTIFY THE FCC THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE. ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE IS A "FILE COMPLAINT" PICK WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW THE STEPS. I'VE DONE THIS IN THE PAST AND I HAVE DONE IT NOW WITH THIS NUMBER IT SHOULD STOP THE CALLS.

I was at work on November 19, 2009 and at 4:14 Texas Time I receieved a call from 949.954.5138. I have receieved calls before and called back. I told the individual to NEVER call my number again, he stated that he would remove my number and I would not have any further calls.

I was online yesterday on scholarships.com, I opened an account, and then closed it today. I recieved 5 phone calls today within an 3 hours. This is ridiculous. I have not answered. I am hoping since I closed the account it will stop.

I received about 3 calls from this number.  I had been online trying to find info on some schools and submitted my name onto apollo college in Phoenix.  I am not going to answer the phone when that number pops up.  Sooner or later it should stop.

I'm pretty sure it comes from putting in resumes on the (??????)preffered jobs webiste. Where u have to put three refrences and then it ask u if u want to join gsome kinda monkey jar bs.Try reporting this tio the bbb

like all of you i was getting called 3-4 times a day, evn on weekends for about 2 weeks with no one saying anything.  i'd call back and an answering machine with no message.  finally this last time a person was on the line.
some diaper head, no offense to those arabic ppl in the US but if your gonna call me atleast speak my langage, presented himself from a career finder website i subscribed to.  i could barely understand him behind his thick accent.  i got frusted from him talking from a prewritten introduction speak, i told him "excuse me" to make him pause.  he responded "yes sir."  i continued "do you work in a tall corporate building?"  he responded "yes sir i do, but why do you ask?"  i told him "then go to the top of the building and jump off of it and quit calling me."  2 days now and not a single call.  i figured i come on here to let you guys know to just wait till you get them on the phone before it will stop.

i too applied through monster and other sites and theybe been calling every few hrs! this is not what i signed up for!

I recently applied for a job on Monster. They have called 3 times in the last 2 hours.

I answered, no one said anything. I recently applied for jobs too (through Monster). It's a shame that even employment websites are now vulnerable to this......we can't even apply for a job without putting our information out there for unsolicited calls.
