I just got an SMS from these bozos.  I reported them using Form 2088 at the FCC website.

I got a message about debt elimination and is the same verbatim message that Randy posted on May 1.  I do not who this party is, and I do not want to receive messages from this party.  I added my number to the Do Not Call Registry and am thinking about filing a complaint with the FTC about this.

On 6/9/10, I received a similar (slightly different) message from the above #.  I gave my NEW tracfone telephone # to just one company so they could notify me when I was to return to pick up my vehicle.  So, I know where the employee works in Eugene OR.  Is it possible anyone else had a flat tire?

Got a text from 949-973-1648 at 6:29pm on 5/20/10.  Message reads: Want To Be Debt Free Today? Take Our Survey - Receive Info How to be Debt Free -Text back Yes; Text No to opt out or Email your # to optout4iyahoo.com -Survey.

Yeah, like I'm going to confirm it's a live number by texting back anything.  Bad enough we have spam in our email inboxes, but to get them to our cell phones when some people pay per text is just outrageous!

I found out that this number (949-973-1648) is part of the T-Mobile network...fight fire with fire...send message back to them telling them to stop spamming.  Use this free online app to send text messages.
