Thanks for posting your information about this guy! I just got a call also stating he was a paralegal to the US Attorneys office. And gave me a number to call George Belowski and stated today was my last day to call. The number he gave was the number he called from. (916)469-8865. I googled George Belowski name and found your postings . Thanks a lot ! Right away I knew something was wrong. I also went on line and I think that's how he obtain my info.. The caller sounded Indian heavy accent.. This is a scam! I'm pissed off! It was alarming at first, but then I calmed down and smelled fraud!

I just got a call exactly like the ones described below exceot the number he called from was 512.410.4956 here in Texas. he said the EXACT same thing about ...George Belowski Senior Attorney. What the heck?

I juts got off the phone with the same person claiming  I owe some outrageous sum of money as well.  Ask him who the State Attorney General is and see what he tells you. He does not even know who the State Attorney General is! I will post the number and site for all tot see,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Thanks for the information and best of luck.

Same here he called me and say that if i dont pay 1,254 in hour he gonna call the sheriff on me. I didnt even owe any money at all. I was scared too. That why im so curious.

Same just happened to me. I told him to come get me. I was told $1,497.

I too have been a victim of this scam. Today there was a message left on my iPhone from a man with a heavy Indian accent. He stated that I needed to return his call to 916-905-7020 immediately or I would be arrested today for fraud. He continued to state that if I did not return his call that the warrant would be pushed and good luck if I don't. Acting out of concern as to what this could be I called him. He asked me my name then paused for a minute then here it came! He said that I would be arrested today for fraud for a payday loan staing he was from the attorney generals office and there is a warrant for my arrest and I would be arrested a minute at work or home. Baffled.... I responded saying what are you talking about I have not committed fraud and for what.. He said, you know your dumb don't play dumb and are you going handle this or should I have you arrested. At that point I challenged him saying for what.. He would not answer. Again Imasked him for what and said ado you work for the attorney generals office are you there now... He did not answer.. Again I asked  and said what are you talking about.. He did not offer any information just kept saying you will be arrested any minute now! I hung up. Curiously got me again so I called him again. Upon identifying myself he knew who I was.. He said u wanna spend 9 months in jail.. I replied for what he had no answer but read me this so called disclosure for fraud! Really... Really! He then asked me if I wanted to settle this .. I then decided to play along so I replied yes. He asked me if I had a checking account of an ATM or cash.. I said cash. I said how much to settle he said $936.00. And that I needed to,pay it right now or I am going to jail.. I responded saying well I can't right now maybe in 2 to 3 hours.. He get angry stating well you must want to go to jail you must be dumb lady you have to send it now.. At that point I hung up on him. Shortly after I called that number continuously to get an answering machine that sometimes went to the beep and sometimes a message that stated you have reached the number of a global caller! Needless to say its a scam. I decided to research and found this website. A was given advise from my best friend to sign on to Lifelock.. To which I did!  Thank goodness! Will be changing my checking ACLU t number and filing a formal report with the actual Attorney Generals Office!  These guys are ruthless individuals that need to be stopped! Do they really think people are that ignorant to the laws of the judicial system. Protect yourself and will be awaiting another call from him.. Should be interesting as I will run circles around him. Also I checked my phone and the above number area 951 I also did get.. They have numerous numbers they working with!

Calling me too.  I very quickly told him I have Identity Fraud Protection through my insurance company and they would contact him.  He quickly hung up.

CALLED ME ALL WEEK ALL DAY CLAIMING I OWED THEM MONEY AND THAT I HAD CHARGES FILED AGAINST ME AND MY SSN CALLED HIM BACK AND HE CLAIMED THAT I HAD AN HOUR TO PAY 700 OR THEY WOULD SEND SHERIFFS OUT TO ARREST ME EITHER AT WORK OR HOME. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THE POLICE STATION AND TURNS OUT TO BE A SCAM FROM A GROUP OF INDIANS . IRONICALLY THEY HAVE SUCH A HEAVY ACCENT AND USE THE MOST AMERICANS NAME LIKE JASON SMITH ETC. WHEN I WAS AT THE LAPD FILING A REPORT THEY HAPPENED TO CALL I WENT ALONG WITH THE FLOW AND TOLD THEM I HAD THE MONEY . HE TOLD ME TO GET IN MY CAR AND DRIVE TO MY NEAREST WALGREENS BUT TO NOT HANG UP THAT ONCE I ARRIVED TO WALGREENS HE WOULD GIVE ME FURTHER INSTRUCTION. KIND OF WEIRD FOR IT TO BE A STATE ATTORNEY RIGHT ? WHEN THE OFFICER TOOK CONTROL OF THE PHONE HE KEPT QUESTIONING THEM AND THEY WOULD JUST FREEZE AND TRANSFER THE PHONE AROUND. THEY HAVE CALLED MY JOB SOOOOO MANY TIMES AND CLAIMED TO GET ME FIRED. AND STATE I AM AN ACCUSED LADY. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU PUT A FRAUD ALERT ON YOUR CREDIT BURREU RIGHT AWAY IT WILL PROTECT YOU SINCE THEY HAVE YOUR SSN . ALSO FILA A CLAIM WITH IC3.GOV THEY INVESTIGATE THESE PEOPLE AND ARE OUT LOOKING FOR THEM!!!!

Got a message from this guy name Peter Richardson. Guy called me and said that i owe $1200 and that if i dont pay them back I will placed in jail for months. Called the actual company and they are putting a stop to everything. called once and hasnt called since. I have his voicemail saved. and also reported it to FTC.gov if anything happens to you guys i would report it to the FTC. Plus the Lady over the phone said that if they sound like if the are from the middle east then its an automatic scam. sorry that sounds bad but thats how she explained it to me.

He has called 2 times this morning (Jason Smith) has a warrant for my arrest, will be here to arrest me in 30 minutes.  I asked what for he said he didn't know the number he gave my was the Attorney.  He has such a strong accent you can hardly understand him.  He is very mean talking.  I called and reported him to the local police the first time.  They were kind enough to run a check on me just to make sure someone was not using my idenity and nothing showed up on my record.  I told him to come on over to arrest me.  These calls were placed to my place of work and he was going to arrest employer too.  HOW CAN THIS PERSON BE STOPPED.  1-915-223-6774!!!

Called me at my job and left a message.....same story as the other reports here.  Heavy accent, left name as Chris Brown

This guy he left a message on my cell phone and said his name was Jason Smith with the State Attorney General office and that for me or my attorney of record to call as soon as I receive this message, it was very important that I return this call as matters unfold upon.  he then stated that they have charges coming against me and this matter needs to be taken care of fast, if I don't call back all he can say is he wishes me well as matters are unfolding against me.
I have not called back and will not call back, because I see this is a scam and these people that are doing this to individuals the gorernment needs to crack down on this matter and have these people handled for this, i have filed a complaint the number that they leave for me to call is 951-223-6774, the an Alex Jones calls and he states the same thing, but he leaves a number of 646-543-2328, this is uncalled for distrubing people and trying to scam people like that, I feel that should be able to search these numbers and get where these people are, one of them it shows like homestad, california, all of these calls show california, I feel the telephone company can hold a trace on these calls to have atop on this they callyou four and five times a day, i have been getting these calls since last week almost every day, three and four times a day they even have m place of employment number, this is not right.

same thick accent has been calling my cell and my work for 3 days non-stop saying there is an urgent matter from the AG office and I would be prosecuted. I just answered again and I told him I knew it was a scam and that my husband was a sheriff and he was being recorded. He paused and said mam and repeated his same story. I hung up. he called again right back. I hung up again and he called right back!

TOTAL SCAM...."Attorney General Office" yea right! For starters no one from the Attn. General office will call associates without sending out a formal letter first. 2nd The US Government would not have someone call you that cannot communicate in english! Not to mention calling you on your job harassing you! WOW!!!

I don't know how this guy got all my info but he has called me 13 times today and even called my work which they don't know my real name... They said no one was there at work with that name. Thank God he didn't get my cell number to call and only my Magic Jack number... It's a scam and I think that the the person saying check himout and start this s*** in his life is correct... Let's do to him what he is doing to us... Why some psople have to scam others out of their hard earned money this day antime is behond me.... Don't believe a word he says and if you really think that you've done something wrong call the states attorneys off yourself and ask them... And whatever you do don't give this guy any money.. I am sure in time the phone calls will stop..

As far as calling him, i would suggest getting a gmail account, then registering for a google voice number and calling him.  All calls inside the united states and canada are free outside of us and canada you need to fund your account.  You can have a phone number any in us and canada.

You have to do the same back to him.  Call his wife, spread his personal business around.  Do some research on the web.  It took me about 10 seconds to find this....

My guess is he might be George or that is yet another alias.... try calling the number from a blocked phone or a friend's phone with a different area code and see what happens.  Also google his name and the number in different combinations.  Eventually you'll get to the real person.  Then, you do to him what he is doing to you.  He spreads dirt to your coworkers, you call his wife and say you are his mistress.  This is war.  He is threatening your job during a recession.

Just got the call. Thick Indian accent. Wouldn't give me his call back number. The name he was looking for vaguely sounded like mine. He couldn't correctly spell my last name. Said there was legal matters on my SS#. I asked him to give me the last 4 of my SS#... they did not match (I didn't tell him mine of course). When he couldn't spell my name I said that was not me, and of course he wanted to know who i was, and I would not tell him. I am reporting it to the State attorney's office.

This person called our 800# in attempts to contact me advised the rep not to transfer the call because this is a scam.  I have received numerous v-mail from this person(s).

Have been calling a company phone  several times a day using many different names and the caller is very rude and persistant and very harrassing. He has called three times about 5 minutes aprt several times asking for Geraldo who does not work at our company or at our location.

Called this number back after them calling friends of mine and told them I knew they were scamming and noyAG and he became beligerant and said to call the police because they wouldn't catch him anyway.I then received 20 blocked calls in 5 min. Real do***e bags who give all their people a bad name.

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.

These idiots have been calling me for the past 2days. Saying there from attorney generals office.  If I don't pay them 1100 going to jail for 9 months for fraud.  I've contacted AG office and reported these numbers, what city there calling from and the guys name George Veloniski.  Total scam!!!! Watch out!! Had heavy accent too! What's this world coming too!
