If this guy calls you for an interview, don't go!!!  It's not what it seems. It's not a job offer but a recruitment to sell insurance under an MLM setting. Clyde Morgan is not an owner nor a principle of the company WFG or Transamerica. Beware of scam.

Well there you go....... he just did it to me.... Clyde Morgan that is!

These people prey on those of us who have had difficulties and then take our money to boot.  I am so glad I found this site. I will not call this a**hole again - He is associated with another scam group as well who have been calling and threatening me for 3 years.  I actually called the FBI two + yrs (Nov 2011) ago about them and they said they have no jurisdiction over them and to just hang yup!  The FBI told me they are scam artists. They threatened (the scam group) that the FBI would be at my door the next day - so... I called the FBI  ! And that is what they said.

Prank Call
Just got a call today from Clyde Morgan from Transamerica.  He's call has a "blocked" number on my iphone.  Similar tactics.  He wants me to go for an interview tomorrow at 1 pm. for a managerial position.  Everything that he told sounded so much like a scam.  THere were a lot of inconsistencies.  Thank you for this website because I avoided wasting time and money for a scam like this.   Everyone - Beware of an elderly gentleman who goes by the name of Clyde Morgan from Transamerica in Diamond Bar calling you with a blocked number on your cell.  Hang-up immediately !!!

Got a call from Clyde Morgan @ 951-237-4529 told me he was my neighbor right here in Diamond Bar.
Sounded like a scam because I didn't apply for a position with "Transamerica" the company he said he worked for.  I asked for his number which he gave and told him I would call back then went to the internet and found the list of calls here.  Don't waste time with this one.

This is the one of the most useful websites ever.  Whomever is hosting this site - I thank you very much, and know I speak for everyone else who uses it.

I received a call/voicemail from this person.  He wants to schedule an interview, but left no company name.  Fishy right there.  Every legitimate recruiter that calls leaves their name, number, company they work for and usually the company they're recruiting for, and a short description of the position they are trying to fill.  Direct HR people always leave their company name.

I called back just to see what it was about, no answer, so left a message.  Now I'll not bother calling back again.  If he calls me I'll simply ask if this is some hose-job MLM nonsense that requires the uber-gullible to fork over $100 up front.

These people are so insulting because they think everyone else is retarded.  Or at least they think we can't find a website like this.   Thanks again.

I received a call from Clyde Morgan today, his number was blocked when he called me but after speaking with him he gave me 951-237-4529.  I kept asking for information about the job or whether I applied for the job.  He would not give me any information he just wanted to set up an interview date.  Waste of time.

VM from a Clyde Morgan regarding my Career Builder resume. His cell # 951-237-4529 this company world financial is one of the biggest ripoffs and should be investigated.  For those of you who are temporarily unemployed at the time they call up tell you they raise your resume on monster never give the company's name and then invite you down for one the worst seminars I've ever attended.  It's all about taking your retirement and hundred dollar background check fee so you can go to work form.  I asked him the same question over and over why do you need an engineer to work in the financial office.  The answer is we just need to talk to you.

I actually have a true client-oriented financial and insurance practice, and WFG (along with Primerica) is the laughing stock of our industry. In short, these guys sell a lot of the Equity Indexed products which are constantly being questioned and under investigation by the SEC. Log on to the SEC and see what they have to say regarding those equity indexed products they talk about soooo much.

Best of luck!

Everybody should call back anyway. If they know how many people are on to them maybe their little scam would die or at least die down. If they don't know how many people are on to their scheme they keep trying to scheme people. What a bunch of Demons and Devils they are. In a time when people are fervently looking for work they're wasting your tiem and gas ain't cheap either. I know an FBI rep and a couple of people in the law field. I should send them over there to check this co out. Why is the LAW letting this go on??? They have to know about this crap. I guess nobody's been killed so they don't give a darn.

I just got a call from Clyde Morgan from WFG. I recall going to an interview a few years back or actually it was a seminar type thing where you had to pay $100 to get some kind of packet or something. I just "knew" something was fishy about the whole thing because EVERYONE that spoke on behalf of the co. hadn't been with the "so called" co. no more than a few months. How can about 6 people get up to testity about a job that's been on 2wks to 5+ mos....? You barely have a check after being on the job for two weeks. I got the same number 951-237-4529 on Pipeline Ave in Chino. I think I'm gonna call back and quiz them which probably alot of folks don't do. Maybe they don't know this blog exists but they should do their homework. I guess that's what they say about people who schedule an interview. Soon as you get off the phone get on the internet. Don't waste your time, your gas your hopes. Fools!

Got a call, was suspicous since it was a call for an interview with call back times specificied call back between 3:30 and 5{00 PM, so i immediately thought it was a job scam.   My call was the same number, 9512374529 and from Clyde Morgan in Chino,  I have had some calls before where it was multi level or it was a $4000 fee to find a non existant job, lately the latest seems to be franchise deals.  Glad someone reported going there and seeing it was a scam - thanks...

Folks I got a call from Clyde Morgan today. After reading all of these posts I realize it's the same freakin scam I got sucked into about a year ago.

I actually responded and went down to Chino for the supposed "interview" and all it was was a pyramid SCAM. They try and get you to join their group and sell things for them and the more you sell the more the person that brought you in makes and the person that brought him in makes....and so on and so on.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!

I just can't believe how many people make comments before they actually see the real thing. How can you make judgement on a company just because someone else did not succeed or misunderstood what it really is. I was a WFG associate, but I decide not to continue with the compmay after 2 months. But I was so impressed with the people that helped me and my wife rolled over my 401k to IRA, my 401k was loosing tons of money like many of you in this Blog, but I was open minded enough to seek other options. These were the only people that approached me, while my Merril Lynch guy did not even give me a call during all the bad things happend in the market the last two years. I've lost over 30% of my retirement. Thanks to WFG, they educated me and helped me to diversify my funds, now I really understand my money. Be a little more wise and courteous before you ruin other's name, and do more research and common sense before you jump into conclusion about one company's good name. Do you really think that SEC and Department of Insurance and all of the product provider are so stupid that they continue to let this company operate business? I think all of you in this blog are just so much smarter than these regulator and insurance companies.

These Aegon/WFG a**holes never leave the name of the company they represent when they call so that in itself is a red flag.  Never return calls if someone requesting an interview can't even bring up the name of the company they represent. Reputable companies that have a proper HR department leave a detailed message about whom they represent and not hide behind a phone number.
