Let's everybody call them back and ask for Linda. When they try to pawn you off on someone else, tell them you will only speak to Linda. We know Linda's voice by now. So, just keep calling them back and ask for Linda. See how they like harassment.

They call way too much!
John 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
It is Capital One; when they call they don't leave a message. I called it from another number and it is answered "Welcome to Capital One".
TMC 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
How do we get them to stop calling???
Not a friend of Linda 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
Dear Linda from Capitol One. I personally thank you for the opportunities you might have for me, but unless its a job with a big fat paycheck with lots of zeroes--honey you can pound salt!

This is an automatic dialer number from the collections department at Capital One. I have filed a complaint as to their conduct to no avail. My advise, pay your bill and they'll quite calling.

Capitol One keeps calling our company asking for one of our employees. We explained to them that we're not allowed to take personal messages for the employees and requested that they stop calling our company and try to reach the individual at home. They asked me to give them the phone number or cell number for this person. I could be fired for giving out that information and tried to explain this. The caller then told me that because this number was on the credit form, they could keep calling if they wanted. I instructed this individual that because our company was not engaged in business with them, that this was harrassment to us and they needed to stop calling. I doubt if it did any good.
I GET it! 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
Linda, I GET IT!! You have some opportunities that may be available to me as a customer of Crapital One. You don't have to remind me several times a day, EVERY frickin' day! While you're out traveling the countryside making all these obnoxious calls wherever you happen to be, I'm stuck where I'm at. Message received, you have opportunities. yay for you.
Bobo 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
These folk have no heart and as far as principle, there is none. The call seven days a week all day long each day.
Christa 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
My problem with this number is that it calls and hangs up then calls again. When I answer I can never understand the person on the other end. After reading the above posts if it is indeed Capital One then they truly have no reason to be calling me because I am not behind on my bill so what is up with these fools. Oh well. I just ignore it now. Not worth getting my blood pressure up for.

Oh I agree with you 100%!!!!!!!!
rdrst3 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
anyone who has their resume on monster or career builder gets a call from "Linda" saying that she has job opportunities with Capital One. They are obviously desperate to hire people to work in their claims dept. Ever since I put that I was "actively seeking" work on monster, I get them non-stop, I'm complaining to monster.com
gmerr2 2011-06-06 21:07:53 Unknown
I picked it up and it was someone from india that I couldn't understand. I hung up.

I just bought my first cellphone ever and it has a brand new number.
Why am I getting phone calls every day on this cellphone number?
It costs me a dollar every day for these false messages.
John Boykin 2011-01-18 20:48:29 Unknown
Please do not keep calling this number. If we need you, we will call YOU !!!!
BC 2011-01-03 14:55:39 Unknown
This is one of the many Capitol One phone numbers. They call on average once every 45 minutes every day from 8:05 am to 8:50 pm. They are so persistent that if you block a number they just use another number to call from or they change their caller ID. Some come through as Capitol One, while some come through as restricted. So far in December they used 11 different numbers. Now in 3 days of January they have added 3 more numbers. And now they use SIGNET BANK-VA (800)955-6600. When you call back it's Capitol One. I'm looking into a harassment solution now.

I've been receiving numerous phone calls from other numbers stating that its "Linda" from Capital One. I've blocked every number that they have called from but they never get the hint and keep calling from other numbers.

I now, officially, have 10 different numbers for Capital One! I don't have a Cap One account but a few people I know do ... or did ... so, now I have to deal with the fallout of the poor economy. If I've told them once, I've told them more times than I can count ... I'm not the person you're looking for - do not call me. Apparently, that doesn't work. What is the world coming to?
