I too am on the Do not call list. But what is it really, I think we should start to question the do not call list too!!?> This number calls me about once every 3-4 days and is a recording wanting me to buy insurance! How do they get our numbers, and who is really running the Do not call list, or how does this not work ?

This number calls repeatedly and never leaves a message they just hang up when the answering machine comes on. The real kicker is I changed my number to get rid of them and the second day with my new number they called.

got a call from them when not home (Yes, I have a landline) and called the number. It is "law centric" says if you want to remove your number, press 3. I did and it asks you to enter in your phone number. But I'm guessing that this may take up to 3 DAYS for them to fully remove your number. I'd like to know how "They" get your number in the first place . . .I mean, are not all Americans on the do not call list? Who the hell wants to be bothered by stupid phone calls offering crap we don't need or don't want?
