I was seriously scared at first, but once I got on here and read all about this maddness..I felt a little more at ease. I got a voicemail from an employee at work saying this Micheal Carter had called and wanted ME to call him back IMMEDIATLY! So my coworker gave me the info and had me call them. So I did and I got a woman on the line. I could barley understand her. She was going on about how I owed so much money through the bank that I work at on a loan. Im sorry but I think I would know if I got a loan from the bank that I WORK AT! So anyways, shes going on and on about how I should contact my local police department, because they are going to arrest me. Then she asked for my social security number and I wouldnt give it to her. I demanded to know why she was calling first and foremost, then she hung up on me. I am only 20 and I have never had anyone call me and scam me like this, so I was kinda scared. But I since then have read all these posts and I feel a little bit better about the outcome of this. I am just glad they do not have any more info on me other than my name and employer.

I am the REAL Rolly Cooper from California, and my name was stolen when my e-mail was hacked in late May.  It was stolen whil I was en-route to the middle east for a deployment.  It sucks that this guy is using my name trying to scam you.  Thank you for reporting this to the authoraties and on this website.

Says he is Gary Cox and that I must call him immediately or risk violating the terms of our agreement and going to prison.  He left the number 916-287-3958 also.  What a do***e bag!

ronnie cooper called me same number but his mistake he called me at work they made me file a police report and they are taking action he wanted 799.99 or id be arrest he got really mad when i said id have to talk to an attoney

This man named "Mark Watson".  Again like the other complaints this person could barley speak english.  He called my cell phone 5 times in about 1 1/2 hours.  He even called my work.  He left a message saying it was regarding a debt and me or my attorney needed to call back ASAP!!  When I did call back, "Matt" wasn't there, even thou he had just left a message.  The person on the other end of the phone became angry when I demanded to talk to this "Matt" and would not give him any of my info.  He actually told me to F*** off and not to call that # again. These people need to be stopped!!!

When they answered the phone when I called back again, I couldn't understand the company name but it was the same person I had spoke with moments ago.

Problem is this person claims to be a fed Agent and an officer this is a scam and best thing you can do is report it to your local law inforcement ageny, BBB, and the federal trade commision! DO NOT give them any personal information! If you have a bank account please close it out and reopen another! I had to. THe more they get reported the more they get investigated!

I also recieved threating voicemails from him wishing me good luck! I dont even know what he is saying I can understand him at all! Should I report it to the police

Be careful this man had my bank account number. He also calls me all day at work my job sent me home to deal with the problem there is noting i can do. i filed a police report. he used to call me from another number in boston. Beware OF THIS MAN

I received six calls from 951-389-0314 on my office direct line this morning.  It is the same thing as has been stated.  He threatened me with a lawsuit.  He man had an Indian accent.  You could barely understand him.

I have had calls from this guy twice now.  Once last week, where he called my cell over and over, but never left a voicemail.  He called this morning before 8am and I have 23 missed calls from them in 5 minutes.  He then started to call my work number over and over.  I answered once on the cell and told them to stop calling me and I was reporting them and if he wanted to speak to someone I would have my attorney call them back.  I hung up and he called the work number.  I told him the same thing and the started to threaten me.  Telling me if I hung up on him again I would regret it.  The number shows up as a land line in Hemet.  I doubt this guy was calling me from Hemet.

This guy called me and try intimadting me into thinking that I was going to jail. He was very rude with me when he realized I had caught on to what was going on. I called the police and reported this.

I have been getting calls from 951-389-0283 saying that I'm in allot of trouble and I better not ignore this call they have even called my work #, I gave some info online for a my auto refinance and Mortgage info

This guys said his name was Michael Davidson and the reason for his call is to collect a debt from me and if I don't call him are my lawyer that he was taking us to court. He started calling me at work, How the hell did you get my number at work. This guy is very very Aggressive but can hardly understand what he is saying that all i can hear is you need to pay my debt. Please someone catch this scam and put him behind bars are where ever he belongs..

This guy called me this morning about 10 times.  Said his name was james and that he was working for an attorney named Ronnie Cooper and that I needed to call him back at extension 154 or I would be suffering the consequences of my actions.  He had my social security # and knew where I used to work, and he knew the addresses that I used to live at.  He said that there has been a personal suit filed against me but refused to tell me what it was about.  I called the # back, asked for the extension, and a guy answered the phone with "Hello"..  I told him I needed extension 154, he said no, then said that Ronnie Cooper was out of the office for the day....   I am NOT ok with this person having my information...  What can I do?  I am now scared of identity theft.  Terrified is more like it

I got a phone call this morning from this number telling me that there is a lawsuit against my SS#.  I could barely understanding what she was saying.  I told her to go ____ herself and hung up on her.  She called back 4 more times and I did not answer.  I call my phone company and blocked this phone number.

i got about 8 calls at home and 2at work saying tht had 3legal matters against me to contact them immeditay so icalled back they said i owed for 3 online loans and if i didnt take care of these the law would be at my work with legal papers .

I got a message to call this guy "Mark Watson" and it was a the legal dept-Federal legislation. I called back, this Jacka$$ didn't identify himself or any company and when I said "what is this in regards to"..he said "I need your Lawyer info"..I asked again "what is this in regards to"..he said "F**k you Jennifer B*** and hung up on me. I called him back and said "I want to know why you are calling my work and my cell phone and who the hell are you"...he hung up again.  Is there anyway charges can be filled against this Indian Idiot??????  I am going to keep calling him just so that I can piss him off and he will stop calling me.  Calling me at work......that's where I draw the line!!!!!!

Kept calling Saturday (6 calls in a row)threatenting me with 3 criminal offenses and that I better call them back.  They have the last 4 #'s of my SSN which is annoying.  I'm going to do the suggestions above and call the proper authorities.  I have not called them back but are recording whatever voice mails I am receiving.  I know that this is a scam as I was scammed in a similar way last year.  So if they really have this supposed lawsuit then they need to produce paperwork.  I'm getting very upset about this and I will be trying to call them back to get rid of them.  I will be contacting the State of NH about this matter tomorrow as they just keep calling and calling.  They need to get a job themselves instead of trying to take hard working people's money.

I received several calls including one today from my place of employment.  The guy told me he was Kevin Mattison and that there were three criminal charges against me for someone stealing my name or using my name and social security number.  Asked me if I had a lawyer to represent me.  THis is not appropriate for this person to keep calling me at work or at home.

These people are harassing me and threatening me...Is there anything that can be done to these people because it is really becoming a headache?They never leave the name of the company they work for or who have the lawsuit against you.They are quick to tell you they will arrest you and good luck if you don't call them back...I am pissed off !!!!

i just got a call and when i said my lawyer will contact you they called me a bi*** and hung up; . i am reporting this to the FBI

my fiance kept getting calls from this whacked out a**hole!! until i finally picked up the phone, and SCREAMED AS LOUD AS I COULD IN HIS EAR!!! he hung up, and havent heard anything back from him.. HOPE I BUSTED HIS F**KN EAR DRUM!!!

This number called me at my WORK PHONE, and left a message with switchboard for me to call a "Tom Wilson" back. I tried the number and n answer. Thank god I found these comments.

I just got the same call from the same phone number saying his name was Rodney Cooper and that it is a legal matter with my SS number. How did they get my information. When I try to call back and ask to speak to this person, they hang up on me or they don't answer the phone. This is a total scam. They don't even speak english. They sound like the are Asian. How did they get my information? This is crazy. I wish they would quit calling my number!!

I am getting unsolicited calls from this number as well. He trying to pose  as an ATTORNEY saying that there is a judgement against me when I know better!!! when I said I would have my attorney get in touch he got very rude and screamed at me and then hung up on me. He won't answer the phone now and picks it up and then immediately ends the call. Please be wary of this cell  phone number.

Received several calls from a man named John Taylor cannot really understand him on yesterday & again this morning, with threats and claiming to come to my home & job  toda to arrest me, very nasty & using profanity with his threats on yesterday, ex let me speak to your f**king boss, you are a liar.

Can someone please stop these people SCAMMERS from calling.  It is bad enough that they have our personal information.

Just got ANOTHER one of these phone calls! All the callers have thick accents, Anglo names, and threaten to arrest. And, of course, they curse at you when you call them out on what they're doing. It's not amusing anymore. "Good luck" to you too, buddy. You're going to be the one needing it.

Jaws whatever you said or did to these people must have really upset these people. I got a call from this number and did not answer. They left a message saying I owed money to an online loan company. I knew I did not owe anything so I googled the number and found this website. When they called back I answered the phone and instantly said I'm a friend of JAWS can I help you. They called me a M fer and hung up and haven't called back since.
