I received the same call, the number that showed up on my caller ID was 514-680-0381, I called the number back and the guy couldn't even remember the name he left on my voicemail. he stated that I needed to call back on Monday at 730 to speak to him at that time. I laughed and told him If he need anything to send it to me in writing, otherwise if he called me again, I would get them for phone harassment.

I keep receiving phone calls from random numbers claiming to be a lawfirm saying my boyfriend is being sued. They originally said he would be arrested it has been two months no arrest yet. He sent 300 dollars to them they keep saying he owed 165 more and if he didn't pay by the next couple of days he would owe another 400....They keep making up fake law firm names. They even had the adasity to call acting like they were the police. They claimed if he didn't pay the remaining 165 he would be refuned his money no refunds.....I know it is a fraud.....One number u call back and they say this is karen. It's the same person calling but they call from random numbers. I believe my boyfriend has been scammed. They keep calling. They have been calling since 5-19-2012. They even claimed he commited check fraud he don't even have a check book....They keep harrasing us and I am fed up. What can I do? How can he get his money back? They even attempted to pretend to be the police.They keep lying about their location from Austin texas, and etc. I have read up on so many reports and a lot of people are making the same complaints. I believe I need to get my boyfriend to file a police report. They keep lying about their names. Richard,emanuel,peter,and mark.

They finally stopped calling when I told them that I was apart of the CIA and I could track them down and have them all deported back to where they came from.....lol

I just recieved the same call from Dean johnson, very threatning, calling me derogatory names & also called my job. I changed my banking acct &  reported it to the police & the federal trade commissioner. Im really upset now that they start calling my job! Can anyone tell me when did they finally stop calling them.

ok same thing just happened to me I called back as "a representative of (me)" and asked the name of the law firm and he said "Your Mommas P**sy Lawfirm" I made him aware I was making a police report and he said "If your going to do it, do it moth******er!" and hung up on me. obvious scam.

june 30 when i received a voice mail message from ellen or allan smith phone # 951-389-4681 i try to understand what is the message all about, he's accent sound like from India he said i owe money from one of their client in new york i ask him to give me the all information like the name of the bank,credit card or how much i owe etc,but instead he called me an a***ole and he threatening me so bad. he told me so many things like he got my ssn, send a request letters to my employer to terminate me on my job if i don't pay them. i called my employer right away in i explain what happened, guess what, i found out that this caller is scam, i call them back and told to mr smith you an a***ole too,go back where you come from and eat you own dirty job.. these people are totally has a criminal mind

I almost forgot. This is how dumb he is. I told him my lawyers name was Phant. Lawrence Edward Phant. He goes by L.E.  The only thing that would have been better would have been if I had given him the number to the zoo. This guy just kept going. Maybe he didn't understand, but it was hilarious to me. Received calls from them and never answered. I finally answered last Saturday and this guy comes on and tells me his name is Jack Wilson, really?!?!?! Jack Wilson as in Jackie Wilson, any how he goes into his spiel about needing my info or my attorneys info. I give him the name of an attorney and some bogus number. All the while he is acting like he can't understand me. His Indian accent is so thick I almost called him Mr Patel. I tell him to make sure when he calls my attorney to give his full name and the name of his company so my lawyer will no who to sue. Of course he then understrands me completely and starts this tirade about legal procedures and blah blah blah. I tell him to call my lawyer and not to call my phone again, I then hang up. 5 minutes later my pone rings with the same number. I immediately send it to voice mail. When I check the voice mail it is the same guy, but he is leaving a message for Janice Yeardly (I think that is what he said). I haven't heard from them since.

When I told the guy that his was a scam. He hung up on me so I called back and he got mad and told me to crawl back into my mom's (you know what)....lol

Please know that this is a scam. I will give you the info on how it works. First the crazy call right, then they want your SSN. What happens next will blow you away. To make a long story short, they will screw up your credit and get loans under your name. They also do a few other things to you that I can not say right now, because investigators are tracking their moves. Everyone Should Report them, that's the only way to make the government listen, but they really won't do much to stop it. You have to track down these people like a hunter follows tracks in the dirt.
We start with the phone number right... they have a system that uses different number scramblers. They are not traceable or at least they think that they are not. New software has been released to decode the scrambling system but I don't have the access yet.
Next, we need people to tell them that they will pay the money just tell me where to send it. Of course your not going to send the money but find out where they want the money sent. Try to get a real address not a transaction over the phone. They will insist that you wire them the money, just go along with it and Write down and Post where they want it sent. We do have a global system set up to catch criminals just like this. NOTE if you wire them money you will never see that money again.
Now that you know that this is a Scam try to work with them and gather info. Ask questions like, I'm so sorry please don't arrest me "What can I do?" and then write down exactly what they say and post it here.  
I HATE these people and I have the means and the technology to find these people myself Trying to make it easier for the government to go find. Ever seen Person of Interest" something like that but I want my 5 minutes with these people first...lol.

I to began receiving calls around  May 23rd from someone claiming to be Mark, stating that I had committed an internet crime and that he hoped I had an attorney because I received funds from a loan and I refused to pay it back and they have no choice but to press charges. I was also told that I would be served papers on my job and if I wanted to avoid charges I needed to take care of that today!!! I called back and I asked for his first & last name, an address of where to send the check and he said we don't accept checks and I said well, how am I suppose to pay you if I can't get an address? I even stated I wanted it for my attorney and of course he refused and hung up on me. I called back he became belligerent, he called me a mother@*#&@!, he made very derogatory statements about the female anatomy, now what professional do you know that will use this type of language? They deserve to be harassed just like they harass us and I'm just the person to do it!!!

got a call stating that state of California has legal case pending against my name and social.. guy from India on line who could not even handle questions being asked these people are fraudulent and not even valid i don't even live in California don't know anyone there as far as this it is something that needs to be hammered atty general office good choice to start with for anyone who receives call FBI as well these people are a real joke they even had nerve to say god bless you.. scam artists very sad ..

I got the same exact voicemail and was a little disturbed by the whole thing after researching this I am guessing that this is a scam... I just wish there was a way that these type of people could be prosicuted grrrr it really upsets me

I am a private investigator and I have tracked down some of these type of people before. I just wanted to help people from getting Scammed and believe me this is just that. I am posting this just to let the people know that they have a real crime fighter on the case. And I know how these people work. First of all, try to record the phone call if possible.

I just receive the same phone call, also I was not able to answer it so let a message in my voice mail.  Anyone ever hear what Law Firm it is that is calling,  I would be very very interested in knowing.  The name of the person that called me was Samuel Rodgers with a strong indian sounding voice, and said they had a lawsuit against me.  I called them back to figure out why I a getting the call  I turned his questions around and asked who and what company they were calling from and they hung up on me so I called like 30 more times and they wouldn't answere my call, I call my lawyer and they are investgating it again did anyone get the name of the Law Firm this call is coming from.

they left several messages at my job then when i called em they asked me not to interupt while they explained that i was being sued by the federal government. when i began asking question they hung up on me. i knew it was a scam because my sister in law got the same call so i called em back saying i was her attorney and that the police had been notified about the situation. i ask them to tell me what the charges were and they hung up on me.

Same things as all of you above. Did anyone of you put in for a Payday Loan; even if you did not get, or decided against the loan? I found out even if you fill one of these online forms out people like this will call and say they sent you money, You never paid it back, and you have a lawsuit against you. I called the Police because they would not stop, they threatened me. The Police took the info, and listened to the voice message, and said that's not how a lawsuit work, you get served papers. If they have your number, and SSN then they know where you live, and will send the papers by certified mail or have a Police Officer bring then to your door to sign. This is a scam do not give them any info, and tell them you are calling the police to have them arrested for harasament.

I recieved a call from a David Foster and he kept threatening with me and said if I disregarded the message he" can only tell me good luck and may god be with you when you get what's about to rain down upon you".  Then my friend told me that he was getting calls about me and a lawsuit against me and my SSN but he was sending them to voicemail.  When I called back it was a lady named Karen that said she can't come to the phone.  I left a message cussing him out b/c it just doesn't seem right to me.  Has anyone got any info on the company name or where they are located?

Received this call right now to my cell and my work - I'm reporting it to the police.

Something about I am being sued...would not give any detail. Only to tell me I was going to be arrested at my job. Kept asking for my social. I called he number back got "Karens" voice mail & told her she has an ignorant staff that speaks a foreign languauge that I can not understand. If you do apply online especially on a site that re-refers you to other pay day loan companies your in for a treat. You'll be bombarded with emails/phone calls to complete your application, etc.. Even as I write this message im still getting calls, but I have all calls not on my contact list filtered. So the moral of the story is if you need money go to a friend or a family member. The interest rates and annoying phone calls and emails you'll receive from going about it online isn't worth it.

Also the site I went to and submitted my information on was www.netloanusa.com you enter in your info
and then get referred to other loan companies.  Now that I remember there was a box you check to allow the sharing of your information to other companies. Even if you don't check it you won't be able to continue, but it's best you dont.

Two companies I'm been with  that seems ok are www.cashnetusa.com and www.paydayone.com but in all honesty as already mentioned try to get a loan from a friend or family you'll be better off.

Same thing has happened to me claiming I now owe in excess of $5000, and I need to pay up immediately or I'll be taken to court.
Then the moron stated a warrant for my arrest has been issued and I'll be in jail from Wednesday to Friday until the whole thing is sorted out.
I was then put on hold and spoke to a "John Smith" the supervisor of Ron Green.
John asked me if I've ever been a victim of a scam before and I told him no. He then proceeded to tell me the next step for them to do was file the complaint against me unless I come up with an alternate arrangement.
I told him to file it and then the morons called back today trying to pull the same line of crap.

I received calls all last week and today, from John at this number.  He said I will be in Federal Prison because I did not pay an old payday loan.  He said that me and my SSN had charges against us. I advised him to take a course in English because I couldn't understand him.  He calls on my home phone and leaves messages on my cell.  I keep telling him I have no such loan.  These people are nuts.

Received several calls over the last three days.  They were representing a client called Cash Advance USA.  Four calls from a guy named Nelson Brown (Indian accent) from Pacific Legal Services and then someone by the name of Attorney Mike Anderson (Indian accent).  Threatened to notify my employer and to have me arrested within that same day?  Trying to get my full SS number and other information.  Will be reporting them to the FTC.
