NUMEROUS CALLS WITH NO MESSAGE LEFT.

If it was an actual ER.....it would be a number associated to the hospital that ER was located. It wouldnt come up that way unless you programmed to show. They would also leave a message. Knowing that there are jackholes out there....why stress it. Screen your calls. There are ways to block these numbers. Most of the time they get your info from third party sites of web pages you browsed...if not that telemarketing have a list of phone numbers under different area codes.
If you see the number again...blow a whistle into the phone....or some high pitched noise. That usually stops them.
I check these types of sites everytime I see a number I don't recognize....it's just easier than trying to get them to give you info. That way I can block the number...even if they call again, I don't have think about it.

This number called my cell phone again. The caller was a woman and asked to speak to a home owner saying she was from the energy commission or company couldn't quite hear which. I said that there was no homeowner and that she was calling a private number. She said oh I'm sorry and hung up. I figured it's solar sales again. I just wish they would stop calling cell phones.

This girl called ask for my husband was so rude, ask why she was calling said none of my business called my a bi*** and f--- you and using foul words, told her where to go and I was going to file a complaint on this number, I have told them many times to remove my number. I keep getting these calls.

Got a phone call today from a guy whose voice I recognized from a call a few months back. He asks for my husband or me by name. Sounds very chuckalicious .. Like he's an old friend. Hey, chummy guy! If you're reading this, I suspect you aren't really trying to get me to reduce my energy bills with Solar power. It's just your latest gig. The last one was some kind of home repair. I'm recording these numbers .. And saving them for the police if anything ever happens to my property. Also.. Consider that maybe you're messing with the wrong folks!

Caller ID showed utilities, stated he was Robert from Go Green.  When I asked why he keeps calling he says they pay him $15 an hour to call.  I even asked phone company to block the# but they still call.

You can file an FCC complain if the calls continue. I left a voicemail today letting them know that if it continues that I will.

I got a call from my area code ..he ask for me by my name and ask if I own the house..I ask how he got my name to the house number and the info..he Stuter and hung up..scary how easy it is to find info about any one ....so I called back the number and it said it is a disconnected number...

I keep getting calls from this number, told them I was not interested and so now they call several times a week wait a few seconds and then hang up , no talking at all

This company makes it sound like it is from a hospital emergency room.

I received the same called ID:   E.R. Dept. 951-444-8740.   I actually answered, but hung up as soon as they asked to speak to the homeowner.   3 minutes later, received a call from Private Caller.   I answered, but didn't speak and waited for her to identify herself.   She never did, but did ask for me by name before my persistent silence.   Might be a different telemarketer, but sounds just like another message here.

ASKED TO BE TAKEN OF THE LIST. THEY HUNG UP.

Called today, Caller ID says "Corona CA."

This number called my cell phone today. I answered and a male caller asked for the home owner. I could hear that he was obviously calling from a call center. I stated I'm sorry but this isn't a home phone number. He sort of got annoyed and said "Oh your renting." Again I said "No this isn't a home phone" Then he said "oh it's a cell phone." I replied "yes please remove me from your list." He quickly said sorry and hung up. I figured they are some sort of telemarketers.

I just got a call from 951-444-8740 and Caller ID read E. R. Dept. I didn't pick up, but I am glad I came to the internet to check it out. Thank you so much for posting that this is a scam.

The caller I.D. was E.R. Dept.  The person that called tried to sell me solar power for my house.

Do not call list has nothing to do with prank callers. That is for real legit telemarketers from the 1980s ad 1990s.  Those real telemarketers are a thing of the past now.  What you get now is real prank callers and have nothing to do in their life.  Businesses with no real business license.

Why would you want to waste your time in calling a prank caller back? That is what they want you to do!  they want you to waste your time on them. If you call them back it will prove one thing.  That you are alive and they are pushing your buttons.  Don't call them back. Act like they are dead to you. Ignore them. Don't give them the upper hand.  Sometimes also - their phone is blocked and you will only get a message machine and you will be unable to leave them a message.

Okay so this idiot called me about 6 weeks ago. Low life scum bag claiming to be from Home Depot.  

today my mom answered phone. She answered Hello and the look on her face was that of fear and of wonder. She said "Just a second". Handed it to me and I say "Hello?"   A creepy voice says really slowly "SURE".   I say "Um, hello there?"   Then the creepy voice says "______ (my first and last name)  refuses to eat grapes".    I shook my head and hung up.

What the F was that? I know I remember this 444 number and I remember someone calling claiming to be from Home Depot and they called 6 weeks ago at 10pm.  Today this idiot fool called at 11am.

I didn't see the caller ID since I was not the one that answered the phone. I'm wondering what this "ER" stuff is all about. How would the caller know who was in the ER and who was not? So if you had a loved one in the "ER" a week ago or 2 weeks ago, would you think that the "ER" would call you AFTER your loved one got home from the "ER"???  No you wouldn't.   You'd be more likely to think 'Oh, one of my loved ones is in the ER Now???!"

After I received a call from someone that hung up after I said hello I called the number back. Multiple times. The first person that answered was rude and obnoxious. She asked to speak to the homeowner, I asked who she was trying to reach. At which time she gave me an address and asked for the homeowner. When I said my phone number is listed on the do not call list she got angry and started calling me a child and told me to just hang up. Yelling at me to hang up and then hung up on me. When I called back again I talk to someone claiming to be a Joanna Miller. She said she was a floor manager and that she could find out who I spoke to. Also claimed that my number would be taken off their list. When I asked she said she was with "California Energy Group" to help home owners lower their electric bill.

Makes you want to go out and get a bunch of tattoos that don't mean anything.

Saw missed call on caller id. It showed ER as caller so my husband called the number back to see who it was. A man answered, said he was from go green or simethubg like that & was extremely rude & said my husband didnt sound like a homeowner. Threatened to call us back in the middle of the night. This sounds like an extremely unprofessional person with no class, no people skills and has a scam going on.

Shouldn't have answered. Asked for the home owner, said didnt live here and asked who they were and they responded very sarcastically that it didnt matter who they were if the homeowner didnt live there.

Like the others, have been called twice with no message left. What part of being on the do-not-call registry do they not get?

I have a grand child who is in and out of the ER in the past few days ..   Gettting a call from this number had me worried .. NOW IM PISSED ..

Same problem. CID says ER. Thought it was Emergency Room and have a son I could not contact who lives in that area code. Called the number and got "Tom Miller" from "Customer Service." He was rude and hung up when I tried to get info. Lets all call the number back and SCREW WITH THEM!

this # keeps appearing on my caller i d and no message is left. how can i keep them from bugging me

Called every day this week.  Caller ID display says ER.  Answered today and no one was there so I hung up before a recording (I presume) could start.
