I don't give them a chance to say anything, he did have a heavy Indian accent and I told him that I can't understand a darn thing you're saying. And then told him to take my name and number off his list and then I hung up on him. So far no other calls from that number..

hisself something COPPER....In april/may he said police were that m in on the way to arrest me along with children/parents,i said I have no family,they were killed in accident 10yrs+ ago .He said for drug charges etc heavy accent hard to understand I told him hurry up I wasnt waitting all day then gave him an address(not mine ofcourse)then I cussed a blue streak at him that #was NY.NY.calls stoped a couple mon now couple days I igorned em, today I answered....yup same voice different #.sain I defalted on a payday loan.not me when I asked.questions he screamed f.......b... And hung up I called back he answered I called him the same lol and hung up. It felt good.that was hour? Or so.we will dee what.happens! Uuugggh i just hate that kinda. Could be our gms/greatgmas/gpas too......uuuuggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

a call representing state attorney at 951-223-6693 was recieved and called back and this is a scam number

This is indeed a scam.  Please disregard.  A client of mine was contacted by these individuals, and this is how we discovered them.  Please do not forward your funds to them, and contact the authorities if you do receive this type of call.

I have 35 yes 35 voice mails from a David Smith at 951-525-5841 he just won't stop calling and when I blocked the number he called from another number and kept calling over and over. This is insane and I don't know what to do to make them stop calling and harassing me

I recieved a call from this number and this person was rude and yelling at me and told me I owed money and I had no idea what they were talking about then I was told the cops were coming for me. He did not speak english so I could understand him.  This totally ruined my day, because people are so devious and forever trying to run scams on people.

Tell your employer to say you don't work there any more when he calls.  It probably won't help, but firing you won't help either.

Look for an option to block the number or give it a silent ring.

these people at  951-525-5841 have called my cell phone 40 times today and also started calling my work number and called it 30 times in one day I have reported them to the federal trade commision ref # 39529308

This is such a scam! I have received 24 calls in just a 45 minute span and argued with a man with a very thick Indian accent telling me that he will continue to keep calling and that he doesn't care that he is waking meiosis and I am to give a message to the person he is calling for. He told me that I have to relay this to the other person or I go to jail. I asked for his supervisor he told me a number to call and when I told him I wantedhim to transfer me he again gave me the number 951-525-5841. When I asked for his name he gave me David Smith. I told him that his name was fake and to give me his work #. He then told me 4646. I asked him if he worked in the US... and he paused for a few seconds before saying yes. I called the # he gave me and it was a voicemail. No answer just a beep to leave a message.  I Google the info that I had collected and yes they are a scam!

Call the FTC...Federal Trade Commision and tell him that you have reported them and you have a recording device on your phone and they will never call back !!! FTC 1-877-382-4357

THIS IS A SCAM...I called the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to report him. The phone # for you to report this is 1-877-382-4357....Please ! Everyone call this # and report these con-artist's to the proper authorities. This same thing happened to me a few months ago and once I let them know that they have been reported and asked them if they would like my file # they hung up on me and didn't call back. Now they have another site set up somewhere and are continueing to try and scare people into sending them money ! Please everyone, pick up the phone and report these Infedels...Think of your Grandma !!!

I know,these idiots r getting very trying calling every 5 to 10 minutes and at least
15 times in a,hour . I don't know the number  that calls so I.dont answer the
phone  and they leave may messages. They even called my job that's how I
found job threating them telling them if I don't call the back in 6 hours

I am getting the same type of calls...A month or so ago I started getting this same call from another Ph#. They have my social security # also. I reported this to the to the NC attorney generals office with the other ph# last time and the calls stopped. Everyone please report this # and info of your conversation and lets get this to stop. I am tired of other countries ripping us off and now they want my credit card info to steal right from me directly by scaring me !!! He is definitly from middle eastern decent and trying to use an American name saying that he is from the State Attorney's office. I live on social security and I am reporting this now !!!

these people called me today saying they were from the states attorneys office and that i have pending charges of fraud against me and that i owed some cash advance place 745.00 and they would be willing to settle out of court if i westen union money to ft lauderdale fla person to person to a linda webb..... the guy who called me was india and said his name was daniel harris... at first i thought wow this is unreal he was very convincing until i told him i was hanging up and calling the states attorney my self to find out what this was all about... than he started back peddling... i my self almost believed i was in trouble so i can see how these people have scamed so many struggling americans  [SAD]   i commit a crime and the police will put  my butt in jail yet these people are robbing millions  and the police do nothing   is that american justice at its finest

Getting calls at my place of business and very tired of it.

This guy has called our office 7 times today for one of our agents.  He is very rude.  I told him this was a business office and to stop calling us and hung up.  He called right back!  I've got his number and will not answer any more calls from him.

This is the same number that called my 83 year old mom (a girl called) wanted her to make a payment on her credit card with a credit card.  Mom's pretty on top of things still and told her no, and hung up.  They called back for 3 days trying to get her credit card number.  She finally told them she had their number and was going to report them and never received a call again.

Doesn't mean it was his law office the number is being spoofed

Just yesterday this fore person calls says i need to call this lawyers office saying is in regards of my social security number wanting me to verify it and that i have charges on me financial fraud i'm only 23 years old. so my husband calls back and try's to figure whats going on and they keep hang up on him and said they was going to send the cops to my house to get me, so they keep on and on, the guys name is Daniel Harris that calls and tells me this crap. well they keep on and well i went to the police station and they couldn't do nothing about it but they did a search on me nation wide i have nothing on me, i got home they call again and started aging and i told-ed them like it was, we afterwards a few mins later they had someone else call saying they was from government something and i told them i have no interested i have not warrants no frauds leave me the hell alone. they haven't called back since,if the next time they do i have trace where they are calling from is hotels don't know which ones but that's the number. i'm sick of them calling and hashing us woman they need to be took care of soon.

Robert Davis has called me from Florida he says and from Kentucky when I am in Alabama about going to sued me over a credit card bill or loan from some Company I have never heard off. He needs payment right now!!!! I must call him today Right now. 5 to 6 times a day.  

He has been calling my daughter at work 10 to 12 times saying you must pay me now.... Seven and twenty five dollars.... Not sure of the amount....  Then calls back 10 mins later.... Her boss is starting to get really angry  she could lose her job for this... Her phone is supposed to be free so that other employers and companies and call... She asks why are you not answering the phone? Why are you always on the phone.... Ask for personal information...  This has got to stop immediately...

Caller (obviously a person of Indian descent) calls and pretends to be representing the "State Attorney"  claiming you own money.  The guy actually will know a certain element of personal information about you.  He's hostile and pretty much a do***e bag.  He's been linked to having connections at those Cash Advance places, he obviously has inside connections.

Call and report him to your local police.

These guys just called my girlfriends phone, and her grandmothers phone. He yelled at her and scared the living day lights out of her, She has sever epilepsy, so if any of you has any idea where to find them, please tell me the address and I will end this myself.

My daughters cell phone has been called 13 times today by this number asking for a man I have never heard of  I keep telling them they have the wrong number they called me a liar and when I asked him to stop calling he said no now I'm going to call u every 10 mins until u tell me the truth! Now I have to change my daughters number.
