Anyone knows who this is?
| Fell for it. 2010-06-02 20:02:46 Unknown |
Well unfortunately i found all these posts to late. I was desperate for a job but i thought this might actually be legit, i started researching while interviewing and couldnt really find anything on Plastrust Company and when in the interview i asked Sarah Jones if they had a website and she said "we are working on it." and i then i asked how long they had been in business and she replied saying "8 months" i also tryed to get a physical address from her and a phone number and she wouldnt give me an address and the phone number she gave to me saying that it was her number was the number of a guy that called me earlier in the morning asking me to get on for the interview his name was supposed to be Robert Evan, but sounded like he was and Indian man on the phone. When i confronted her and said that the number she had given was based out of Florida, and her yahoo profile said Maryland, and i had heard the company was out of Washington she didnt have much to say other than she lived in Marland. I dont know how big this operation is that they have but they are going to any lengths to get information, unfortunately i gave them a photo of my drivers license like an idiot before i got all the details. But i have an extended protection on all of my personal information and if anyone trys to get it i will be notified so im not to worried. I cant believe they let people get away with posting these fake jobs. I've learned my lesson, if it looks and smells like s*** it probably is.

I just went through this so called interview through the yahoo! messenger and felt funny about the whole thing. The person said that they will send a check to me for $4000 to pay for computer equipment needed to do the job and I will get an assignment every day that lasts for 5 hours and pays $22.00 per hour. I never heard of such a thing. I feel really foolish knowing I have wasted my time job hunting. I am just glad I did not give them my personal information or bank account information. So just beware...So off to job hunting, I go. Also the company they are going by is Jcatech.

I received a phone call from a lady at Provantage Corp. telling me some one had tried to use my credit card number to make a purchase for some expensive printer ink, as they were suspicious of the caller; she told me he had tried to use a relay service to purchase the item. They did not sell the item and instead called me to verify the purchase. I have since canceled the credit card. It was never lost or stolen. How they obtained my card number, I do not know, but it is scary. The lady gave me some info: 951-566-4859, Vladiamir R., I.P. address:75.126.32.187, Soft Layer Technologies Inc. USA, 1950 Stemmons Freeway Suite 2043, and RioDave@80yahoo.com. I also received another call the same morning from Best Buy for a Nintendo game valued at $400. I was told from both callers that the call came from Florida. I think this is a highly organized group that stretches all over the Globe. At least that's what my research tells me.
