yes i just received a called from these people to. there names are fred nelson and albert johnson and a women names crystal. i have never had a loan and they are telling me that i owe this money and they are going to file a lawsuit if i dont pay today so i called my lawyer and had him call the number back and they havent called back since and the number is disconnected.

Your message helped me.  They left a message on my phone that I better not ignore their phone call and that I would go to jail and lose my job if I didnt call them back.  After reading your message I called them back and they said the same things to me.  Info on my SS#, home address and work address and that they were sending someone over to arrest me.  I told  him, "OK" and it threw him off I think because he asked, "OK?" and I replied "OK."  He then yelled at me and said that I was going to lose my job and hung up.  Havent heard from him since.  And I am still waiting for the authorities to come to my door.....

Got a call from this number and did not leave a message but kept calling so I called and asked what this is about.  Told me that they are from a law firm that is collecting a debt that I incurred but will not tell me any other information except either pay now or the company will file a lawsuit under my name the next day.  Who are these people?  They scared the hell out of me!!!!

Keep receiving calls threatening me about a lawsuit pending next week in reference to a loan I never took out.  Unbelievable...obvious scam!!!!

Just received a call fro the this phone number. Told the guy I knew it was a scam and that it had been turned over to the proper authorities and hung up, blocked this number. Sure they will call again using a different number. One website suggested getting a whistle and blowing it when they called. I think this is an excellent idea.

It's not always the same number but the same guy calls me saying that I either a lawsuit has been filed or they are a law firm wanting to represent me.  I threatened them with a lawsuit if they didn't stop calling me and so far they have stopped.

The guy told me my address, phone number, e-mail, etc.  When I told him that I would be filing a lawsuit he told me the last four of my social security number and my birthday to "prove" this was legit.  He got my birthday wrong.

Also...  They last name he used was Leonard McCoy.  That in and of itself made my day.

I called the cops and filed a police report. These people knew all my personal information. They keow my ssn, bank account information, etc. I talked to the REAL attorney at Buckey and Schurter and he advised everyone to file police reports with their local police department. What they are doing is against the law. These people harrassed me at my work as well, I have no idea where they got my info.

The same thing happened with my business and also on my cell phone. They kept calling back over and over!!! We finally had to take the phone off the hook to get them to stop! One of the callers names was "JOHNNY DEPP"! Like that's not made up. Where can we report this? Does anyone have a clue?

Just received call from this number asking to speak to an employee. When told they didn't work in the office and out in the field he wanted us to "connect" him with the employee. When told that was impossible he wanted to leave a message. I said we do not take messages for employees he threatened me with "criminal acts" He said 2 agents would be at my office in the morning to arrest me. Laughable.

Well it just happened to me and I'm not happy about it.  After reading the other reports it is the same people only my person's name was Albert Johnson.  This is comming out of Califorina and going over FCC lines I live in Arizona isn't there a law about going from state to state?

Sadly, nothing is being done about it or the other internet scams because the FBI does not have the money or manpower to go after these criminals. This fact was highlighted on a segment of "Dateline" yesterday.

I received a call from this number saying that there was a lawsuit against me and that they needed my SS# to verify my information before they could tell me what the lawsuit was about, they knew my name, birthday, SS# and my address, I don't know who these people are or what they want but I do not feel comfortable with these people knowing that much about me, is there anyway to stop this? they also said that since I wouldn't give them my SS# that they were going to have the police come and arrest me on felony charges, have they threatened anyone else with this?

I received a called from this number about a cash advance that has been paid to the lender.  He (E Jones caller) threatening me with a lawsuit.

this people i think only works for the same company.. they have the same style,same process, and same old threatening crap.. they will tell you that you owe them a lot.. they will tell you that they are a legal department of some sort. and they will also say that you'll have a court hearing. but please.. subpoena are needed before you get a court hearing.Im sure all of you received a call from an indian accent guy, and more or less..the call is coming from w/in the US.. but.do take note..they are out of the country.. india most probably.. they will continuously harass you over the phone.. just don't say yes to them.. file a report @ fbi.. and inform your bank and credit bureau that some company has your information .. and is a possible identity theft..

Yes, It is a scam. They called my daughter this morning. Couldn't even understand them.

I am having to change my phone number because this guy keeps harrassing me.  I don't have any loans except for school.  He has all my personal info what can we do to shut his butt down and prosecute him to the fullest extent?  Someone please tell me.

They called today, giving us a fake name and sd that there was criminal charges for my boyfriend they had our #, address, names, last 4 of ss#, etc. Gave us another # one #  off from the one he was calling from (951-582-4832 / 9515824833). Called the other number, and this guy confirms that there there was $ owed, & they were gonna take this to court.. Then the guy kept asking for my boyfriends ss#. I told him that we were not going to give that info away, and that i was going to report them to 6 on your side news in the am. He laughed, and told me to do it. Said his name was  Robert Parker (doesn't even matter anyway since it wasn't real), and sd he would love to talk to the news. Doesn't really sound like something that an legal office would really let their employees. They called us two more times after that, and then i put them on my spam list w/ Verizon.

recieved threatening messages at home, my husband received them at work. I could barely understand what the guy was saying. He called back to back, even when I hung up the phone on him. He said he would send law enforcement to our home, and to my husband's job. NEITHER ME OR MY HUSBAND TOOK OUT A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY, he told me they were debt collectors after the loan we didn't pay to Cash Advance, he  had all my husband's personal info. He couldn't provide me with any information about Cash Advance, when I told him I would contact them to settle this matter, he got upset and started cursing quite a bit, I let them know I would file a lawsuit against this company if they called my residence, or my husband's job again. They haven't called back as of yet.
