They called me. They threatened me and I almost fell for it once. A police officer stopped me from sending money via a money pak card. I now have an attorney, so when they call, all I respond is, "Please call my atorney," and I give them a name and phone number. They hang up fast. Unfortunately, these are usually cloned numbers and they are hard to find.

These people took $200 stating they were going to send me funds of 2205.00. After I gave them the money they told me they couldn't transfer the money to my account so they would have to send the funds via western union but I would have to pay another 300.00. When I told them I did not want to do that and requested they give my money back they refused and hung up.

I have been getting calls from this guy and he is threatening me. What do I do?

Closing my bank accounts and not responding to them, they want me to submit 300 to them for them to wire 10,300 into my account. I am not paying anyone for money. It's a scam and I don't know how to stop it

I got 10 calls today alone from this number he said i was approved for a payday loan for $10,000. I told him i didnt believe him, and that he was harrasing me, calling so many times in one, and i was not intrested in hearing what they have to say. I advised him to remove my number from there calling list or i will report the company for harrassment charges and fraud charges. So then he calls me back, and says he "just wanted to hear my voice." Most unprofessional company ive ever had call me. I will have to report this to my county police department. Reading everyones comments, this company is just trying to get money whatever possible way they can. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY!!

My calls came from another number entirely, but referenced the same company advanced cash net. the first call came from the number 951-582-4834 saying there was a legal affidavit that i needed to submit and that they needed my personal information and name and number of my attorney before they could release the names of who was suing me, what the charges were, and for how much. I told them I didn't have to give them anything and that if they were suing me then they had to furnish summons papers per the judicial system. I received several calls from this number and have two recorded voicemails from them. Recently a second party to this called both my number and my work number claiming to be an officer with the USA crime investigation bureau, that number is 347-762-1444. they told me that my name came across their desk. and stated that i signed an agreement with advanced cash net. I've never heard of them and certainly have not signed any documents! They claimed a deposit had been made to my account, I had my bank print off a financial statement covering the past two months, there is no deposit from their company! I told them the same thing i told the prior caller that for me to be sued, per the judicial system of this country I had to be served summons papers...they hung up on me. I haven't heard anything else from them.

My dad got a call from 951-582-4835 too except he said his name was marvin smith saying he has warrent out for him and he was on his way over to get him and i said go" f*uck yourself b*****d" so he hung up. i sweare to god if that f*cker comes over to my house i'm going to murder him he messed with the wrong f*cking family nobody mess's with my family and gets away with that kind of s*** god damm it!!!!!!!!!! :( time to die f*cker

They called my work number over the weekend, and left 2 voice mails on my cell that if I didn't return the phone  all all he can dois wish me good luck. Can they still call your work number or what should I tell them to stop calling my work

I received the same call today from Charlie Greg (the paralegal) on my work office number, asking me if I had an attorney? When I said no, he informed me that I was being sued.  He wouldn't give me any information, but gave me the number to the attorney's office 1-951-582-4835.  I called this number for over 30 - 40 minutes with no answer,  I waited for 10 additional minutes and called again, this time David Cooper answered with his rude a** to tell me that I had funds deposited into my account, that I'd retrieved the funds and refused to return the money.  He told me that he was filing a criminal case against me today at 12 noon, He had the last 4 digits to my social security number and the name of my bank (Wells Fargo) which scared the hell out of me.  I called the DA's office here in los angeles to determine if this was real, but it wasn't.  The DA's office said this sounded like credit fraud and that I should flag my credit with the credit reporting agencies and the bank (which did nothing) I will be seeing them to add additional security measures regarding my account.  I was told to file a report with the police, however, they told me to order my credit report and flag any transactions that were not mine and then bring the report to the police to file.

My husband just got a call from someone named David Cooper saying that they deposited $3000.00 into my husbands bank account and that they tried to collect the money and there was no money in the bank account and that by 6pm they were going to have him arrested and take him to CA where he would be prosecuted. My husband tells the guy well, I don't even have a bank account. The guy hungs up. Now I am an attorney, and I had to calm my poor terrified husband. Tried calling back this David Cooper, so called attorney and he kept hunging up on me. I recommend that people file a complaint with the FTC and also you local FBI. Fill out the forms so we can all nail this SCAM!!

This is absolutely crazy!!  They really need to stop these creeps.  Calling people at work is insane.  Making parents worry about their children and their well being.   Why are some people so F.........STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!

There was a message left for me on my personal cell phone and also on my business phone.  This is getting to be a little ridiculous, especially when you don't know why they are calling. I don't owe anything!

I received several phone calls also from a man with a strong Indian accent. He told me that I was being sued for payday loans. I knew i did not owe any payday loan.  I called back and spoke to David Cooper who also informed me that there will be an arrest warrant taken out for me on Monday and I will be picked up at work and transported to California. I owe $545 in a loan that I never took out. After I informed him that my uncle was a police officer and he was going to look into it, he hung up on me. I've tried calling him baclk several times, but is getting his voicemail and it's full. I was initially very upset, but sat down and thought about it. Look his number up on line and saw these post. It's a shame that there are people who actually believed this and paid these people money!!!

They called my wife's work and said they were with california legal department and that there were
several cases against me. The man that called did not speak English very well,Never been to California, do not have any loans outstanding with any co. in california.  This man was very rude and threatening.

They are bothering me as well. I love the idea of reverse harrassing them but frankly, my time is so much more important than feeding into thier scam in any way.

I like the others received a call from a foreigner saying he was calling from an attorneys office, regarding a case against me. i had no idea what he was talking about and told him NOT to call my place of employment ever again. I want to report them! Any idea to whom?? They have called me several times this morning on my office phone as well as my cell. After seeing this site and the same problem with others, I'm just not answering the phone when i see the number on called id.

I was left a message on my work phone from the same fool.  He told me he was an attorney and that I owed his company money and I would be arrrested if I don't return the call.  So I call the number to find out what this mess was about.  He knew my name and I couldn't really understand him because of his accent.  So I told him to send the authorities because I don't owe this fake company nothing.  He hung up.  I want to report him.  Does anyone know who we can contact?

I just got the same call at 6:10 pm, a David Cooper left a message on my cell phone saying that they deposit $450 into my bank account and if i don't pay it now i will be arrested at 7:30 pm and taken to California to court, then a message was also left on my home phone by a fake accent hindu man name Rog calling from 909-680-3053 telling me to call back 951-582-4835 and that it is time sensitive and that I should not disregard the message. "If i don't hear from you or your attorney the only thing i can do is wish you good luck cause the situation will be on you Alma". He threatened. Stupid me i called back and told him i have half of the money, he told me i have 30 min to come up with the rest and no later. Thank God for friends who went looking for the company/number on the internet trying to help me when they came across all these other posts. He called back and my friend was asking him questions regarding the nature of this call and where was he calling from, thats when he said quote and quote "tell Alma i am going to blow her a** up" and then he hang up angrily.

I just got a mesg from this man Named John at this number 951-582-4835. This is a scam I just got a brand new phone number with a new carrier and this number calls my phone out the blue. They would not have had this phone number at all so what they did was take my info off an payday loan I applied for 3 weeks ago. Their is no need to be afraid of them. First of all know your rights no Creditor can contact you with threats for repayment and if they are not willing to send written notice of this so called bill to your home then you don't have to pay it. What they do is find you name and some of your info from old bills that you may not have paid. These most times are charge off's or collection accounts that have sat on your credit report for years. They will never have your exact info and by talking to you get you to provide the rest. Also I'm an HR director and no one can just call you employer and get info about you throught the phone, They have to submitt a written and leagal reason why they are requesting this information. No employer is allowed to just give out information on you with out an court order to do so. So don't worry about that part. At this point when they call just hang up on them they will move on to the next person.

Was given this number through my employer. Gave them a call and said that i applied for a loan. Check all my accounts a there was no payment given from the loan that there were talking about and ask how I would be pay the loan back, and told me my credit would go bad if I didnt pay it.I have not sent any payment in that they have requested. Thankfully!!

Same thing happened to me this number called my employer and they gave me the number and called them and they told me the same thing that they were telling you. Im sure this is a scam.
