Its the same thing as most of the calls everyone has been getting except my caller ID says private.  They keep saying this is my final warning and good luck on what unfolds on me.  951-616-6882

i got the same call-  said i would be arrested on Monday, there's a warrant for my arrest. Said they would pick me up at work or home and had all my address and phone numbers to both work and home. This man said his name was JUSTIN BROWN and wouldn't verify any info on who he was with. He did say he was from cyber crimes unit and that I was a suspect in an investigation. I googled the number, thanks to these comments I realize this is a scam / hoax.

I received a call from a guy names Steve Johnson, stating that I needed to contact him today on a importantant matter.  If I did call back he wish me luck with the issuse with an attitude. I went to return the call it went straight to a fax machine. I feel this call was illegal and harrassing.

yes i am receiving the same type of phone calls from this number from and indian man stating that i owe this debt from cash net or something and saying that i need an attorney...I told him off and told him about his self and he has now began to call my phone back to back literally and saying explicit sexual things to me and cursing ...im trying to get this investigated also because this has to be illegal and this is phone harrassment and i am not going to change my phone number because of this idiot....the number he leaves to call him back is 951-616-6882 but what comes up on my caller Id is 810-671-221....but the scary thing to me is that he read off all of my address and street info to me...and i am seriously concerned about this.

My husband received a call from this number. They left a voice mail on his cell phone and threatened him. The agent's accent was foreign, maybe Indian or something.The funny thing is that we owe no debt at all due to our bankruptcy case. This guy advised us to get in contact with them or have our retained attorney to. Thanks to this forum, we rest assured that this is a hoax to scam innocent people out of their money. The number that that gave to call was 95r1-616-6882, but it went straight to a fax machine it seems. Please expose to scam and let your family and friends know that these people are out there and are hunting.

I recieved a voice mail from a Steve Jones today that said the same thing, I needed to have my attorney call, and if I didn't he felt sorry for me because I was in big trouble.  I tried to call the number and it went to a  fax machine.  I am so glad I investigated this number because like most of you, I do not have any debt.

Kevin called from foreign number. Told me to call him over 951-616-6882 because it is import matter. I have friend in the FBI and will contact them to report this issue.

Yeah, they called me, too. I do owe CashNet money, but it is in a consolidation program currently, and they are NOT supposed to have any communication with me.
I couldn't understand anything this eastern woman said. Just the phone #, and "I can only wish you good luck".

This guys are located in Riverside in Moreno Valley some how they get our information but they don't know that the Police of Riverside acord with the FBI  is traceing the calls and they are waitting to get more evidence,

I received a call from phone number 951-616-6882.  They left me a message at work saying that I would be arrested tomorrow if I didn't pay a loan on which I was delinquent on.  I immediately called customer support and I was assured there was no such loan.  All of my loans have been paid in full.  I then called 951-616-6882 and instantly I knew this was a scam because the person that I was talking to (Ryan) had a heavy middle eastern or Indian accent and he was clearly only interested in collecting the money that I supposedly owe.  He threaten me by saying that he was going to download my profile and I would be arrested tomorrow at work and then hung up on me.  I called back and someone else answered with the same accent.  I didn't give them any of my information, but they obviously have access to it because they were able to provide me with my social security number and my address.  He also hung up on me.  The only place I can think of that I recently gave that information to is freecreditreport.com

The impersonator has a deep accent and it sounds like a call center in the background with echoing voices when you speak. I hope this valid phone number helps all that are also being harrassed.

I received a call yesterday form this number and they left a message at my Job.  The name that was left was Sharon Thomas. Whatever....

this person ahs a indian or iraqy acent. the claim i was charged with check fraud and 2 others charges!! they gave me two names that are my husbands freinds that he used for a cash loan as refrences!! he claimed if i didnt give a credit card number imediatly my file would be downlaoded and i will be aressted. he also said i had a warrent out for my arrest and i had a court date monday at 11am. he was very specific and told me police will be at my current address for arrest!!his name he gave was JEFFREY STEWARD FROM CASH NET!!!

I too received a phone call from this phone number on 09/17/09 and 2 things immediately stood out to me: 1) The call was made at 5:37am (a blatant FDCPA violation which any legitimate 3rd party collector is aware of) 2) The call was made from (875)820-6274 with (951)616-6882 being left as the return call number.  When I tried calling (875)820-6274 from my cell phone, the call would not go through leading me to believe it was an international phone number the call was made from???  So I finally get a hold of some jerk, ask for the generic name left on the message (Dan Williams-seriously?) and proceeded to be told I owe $666 for a cash advance received from Cash Express.  Ironically, there were no credits to my bank account from Cash Express and payday loans I have taken have been paid off.  The man with a heavy accent proceeded to tell me I got the money in 2008, but when I asked for a date, became upset and said I wasn't doing him a favor by paying.  I told him I understood but wanted to verify a debt before paying, he refused and hung up.  This is definitely a scam as collectors are required to provide you information pertaining to the date(s) the supposed debt was accumulated.  Be very cognizant of these types of things when using the internet for any transactions as well as even returning phone calls.

I got the same call last night at about 9 PM! I was told that I had a payday loan from a while back for $200 and that if I didn't settle out of court then I would be "picked up by local authorities and DRAGGED to a courthouse" when I asked which lawfirm she said it was "Cybercrime Monitoring Law Firm" so I told her to go to hell and she threatened me again.  I'm turning this in to the feds and these people will go to jail eventually I'm sure.  I did find out that the "951-616-6885" number is out of Moreno Valley, CA and I have the GPS coordinates for the owner of the phone number.  She initially called me from an 875 area code, and looked it up on the net too, and the 875 code is a spoofed area code, that's when I found out that it's a bunch of BS....  What happened that she got my info is because I got a virus on my PC a couple days ago, and now she called.  So that's where the virus came from I'm sure!!! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE AND LET ANYONE YOU KNOW, KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!

The same happend to me and i would like to report this to the police or some one who can stop this scam form happening.  This is a very serious matter.  If anyone knows how to put a claim against these people please post your note. Thanks.

Started getting these calls yesterday at work and on cell phone.  Same as other stories.  Calls back immediately.  Harassing.  Contacted my attorney, she called them.  He ("John") started telling her that he loves her, she confronted that as well as my situation and hung up on him.  He called her again, told her he loved her?!!!! again.  She hung up again.  He called once more.  I have never encountered anything like this before.  I just contacted the Attorney General's office and filed a consumer complaint.  I will also call the number listed above.  I lived/worked in India for 4 years.  "John" was most definately calling from a call center in India.  He also called me numerous times, in a row last night.

he just called me i freaked out and called my dad cause i didnt know what to do he was ver ignorant with my dad, when i called him back he told me that i took out a loan of 300 dollars and the police will be at my house monday to serve me a warrent if i dont resolve the problem he had my address my phone number and the bank that i bank with. I suposedly took out a 300 dollar loan with cashloans.net yea no never happened. When i told him i wasnt going to send the money to a person that i dont even know without more information he called me a mother Fu**er and told me to shut the f**k up at that point i figured it was a scam cause if it was real they would get fired for talking to a customer like that. We need to find this guy and set him straight scammers like this are the scum of the earth and he needs to grow up and get a real job.

I had the exact same thing happen to me a few months ago only I asked so many questions that I irritated the man and he hung up with me with his last words being I was going to be arrested. I just started receiving the same messages again this week 9/17/09 through 9/22/09. One name was Savio the other man that left the message was Logan Smith. Savio's number was 951-616-6882 and the other was 310-198-1661. I have contacted the police and am waiting to hear back if there is anything I can do legally. I saved the messages on my Cell phone and plan on letting them have it the next time they call. It's infuriated me and at this point legal action is going to be the milder of their punishment. I can swear like a sailor as well if not better than they can. Thank's for your postings-they just confirmed my suspiscions that these were false calls.

i recieve a voice message and was told that i have to give them  a call back right away regarding a legal matter.so dumm me i call them back and it was a very unprofessional man on the phone. he don't know how to speak english and know my ssn and sister name. he keep on saying that 5 guys is going to pick me up at my house because i am a criminal. he accuse me of cyber theft so i hang up on him.he call back 5 minutes later asking why i hang up on him and if i was innocent i wouldn't hang up on him. i report to the police and my bf call that number and ask what company they are calling from  and they hang up on him and call me right after and said "who is that guy, tell him not to call me i want to talk to you"..so i told him to go f**k his dad since then he never call me again...i found that this number is from moreno,ca..i hope they get caught and get sent to jail for life ..

I told him that i had already paid the loan and wouldn't give him any money. the company i went through told me it was a scam. the guy called back and gave me the name of a different company that he was trying to collect from which i have never heard of or dealt with. i told him that i knew this was a scam, told him to stop calling and hung up. he called back twice, but i did not answer this time and he left me 2 voicemails. in the one voicemail, he threatened to rape me and my children over and over until i turned myself in. i contacted the police and filed a report. this guy knows my address, workplace and social security number, and due to the fact that he has physically threatened me and my kids, i am going to do everything in my power to get this guy put away.

I have been receiveing phone calls for the past month with threats of losing my job and with a arrest, how do they get your number?  I talked to my lawyer and he told me to write a letter to have it in writing but everytime I call the numbers that they leave I always get the run around on who the company is and where are they located.  So right now I dont know what to do.  They even went through the company operator and asked for my supervisor and called her trying to get her to fired me and when she said no thats a personal matter they treated to take her to court too.
