How can we charge these people with harassment?

i got the same thing  i got this f***ing arabic f*** calling me telling me i got go to court this friday he can go f*** himself.... don't worry just report him.

Same thing keeps happening to me. This is the fourth time they called me and said it was their "FINAL ATTEMPT" and if i dont respond the situation will unfold on me. I laugh at this cause the final message sounded exactly like different pieces of the first three messages he left me. AND YET each time he called me he was a different person. Kevin Jackson, Richard.....whatever. Yesterday i called the number though and talked to some dude who kept asking me for my number for the message that was "intended" for me. First i gave him a fake number and he told me i was a liar. So i gave him my real number and told me I had a pay day loan that I never paid back. Well i never recieved a pay day loan. I mean I was about to sign up for one a few months ago but i stopped at the part where they ask for my bank account number and such. That is why they know my job number and my two sources. I told him i never signed up for a pay day loan then he said that he will see me in court and then hung up on me. The annoying b*stards wont do anything from what you all are saying. So if it is their "FINAL ATTEMPT" to contact me maybe they will finally stfu and stop calling me.....doubt it though....

He was David Walker when I called.....same as above, wouldn't give me any information about the case just that I owed 5k. I don't have any PD loans.

Recieved a call from a David Jackson. They left a message on my cell phone telling me I needed to call them "the second I recieve the message". Well I am choosing not to call after reading everyones statements here.

Oh yeah i got a call from this a**hole.. only on my work number too which is a company number. Some guy named David Jackson... said i had gotten an online cash advance thing for 600 and somethin.. and that he sent me 15 emails tellin me to pay.. the email address he gave me wasnt even my and when I asked the douche who was goin after me...he couldnt tell me.. he read me a "sepina" over the phone.. which they are not suppose to do.. I dont even have an internet source besides my work computer... and if I really had the free time to apply for a payday loan via internet.. i wouldnt do it anyways.. no need...

What i love is that mr. david jackson... was some middle eastern a**hole the frist time.. and then the second time sound more chinese... stupid f***er.

I keep getting a call on my cell phone from a arabic guy Kevin Jefferson and he says I need to call him the minute I receive this message.  I supposedly took out a payday loan and now owe over 5200 and the two I have taken out I have paid off.

951-708-3083....keeps calling my employer. Very unprofessional. He has a heavy accent and the entire messages are always threats not solutions. I do not even know what this is for b/c all they have said is that if I do not respond, I will be in serious trouble.

I received a call Tuesday from a woman by the name of Alicia Smith.  Said my social security number was being sued and she was from a law firm and if I didn't talk to her I would be in deep trouble.  She called while I was at work and of course I couldn't tell her exactly where to go so I asked for a number to call her back. She then gave me a 951-708-3083 number but the display on the telephone was from a 310 area code.  She called my sister, who works for a law firm, and said her name was Alicia Johnson, and told her I better return her call.  My sister told her she worked for a law firm and this was a scam and she would report the call to the police.  Of course the next thing she heard was a click - she hung up.

Wednesday morning, this b*tch left a message on the voicemail at work and said my entired social security number (I'm so glad I told the receptionist about these calls and to hang up the phone when they call).  She said she was trying to help me from serious legal issues and if I didn't call her back I would be in serious trouble.  She said that I would be arrested, sued, etc.  Well they have been saying this since last year!   I wanted to call and give her a serious cursing out but of course when you call the number back you get a busy signal.  There has to be a way the authorities can put a stop to these types of calls.  I think the FBI needs to be involved in these matters.  Just think of the hundreds of elderly people that get scammed by these people and don't have access to internet to view sites like these to know these calls are scams.

I have received the same phone call twice now, the first was about 3 months ago.  In both calls they informed me that there were 3 charges pending in their "Law Office" which they say is ACS.  They would not provide any address or additional information about themselves.  Through several calls I have been able to get the name of the supposed payday advance company "Quickcashnet".  They say I "applied for a loan" on 4/24/09 in the amount of $450, they were able to give me my account number and the name of my bank, of course there was no such deposit.  They also said the references I provided were Thomas Jones and Adam West when I asked them if they had contact information for these people I was informed the file was in the "FTD Debt Bureau which is a federal department".  I talked with several individuals because my probing them for information was "a waste of their time" according to Stacy.  I have made several attempts to call and harass them as much as I can but they are onto me and simply hang up.  This is totally a scam and I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission tomorrow when they open please do the same (202) 326-2222.  I hate to think of how many people these Indians are scamming!

Well I will tell you this, they called my friend today and said that I had gotten him into some legal trouble and my friend called me VERY upset.  I called them back and I told them who I was and I asked them who they were calling on behalf of.  They would not tell me the name of the company but they were bringing fraud charges against me.  I stopped him in the middle of his conversation, and said "i am recording this conversation, because I am taking it to my attorney for lawsuit against you".  The foreign guy IMMEDIATELY went into a rage saying, I FU**ED YOUR MOTHER, AND YOUR SISTER AND I'M GOING TO FU** your wife, and he kept going on over and over and over again.  I hung up then he called back and I said let me speak to your supervisor, and the supervisor said, you have won 20 million dollars and we need an account number to deposit the money to as well as you have won a Mercedes Benz. I said I dont want no prize, I need to inform you of what your employee said.  I repeated what the guy said about FU**ING my, mother, sister and wife.  He said, "i am so sorry, but he has not right or authority to say that","I am the only one that has a right to FU** YOUR MOTHER WIFE AND SISTER" . . . CLEARLY this is a scam of some sort and/or it is a collection agency that was hired by some payday loan people or they have received a data base of those that have applied in order to get information.  If they call you back challenge them and say "you are recording the conversation, and be as mean and as rude as you can and try to record the conversation, and it will be CLEAR of what they are trying to do to you.

David Clark called me and left me a message saying it was regarding a financial matter and I needed to call him back because it was something serious.  Whatever.  I never called back.  I don't answer phone calls from phone numbers I don't recognize.

I received 3 calls (2 at work and 1 on my cell phone) regarding a criminal complaint and asking for my lawyer's info.  When I told her I did not have a lawyer, she said she was putting her supervisor on the phone.  I hung up, she called back and I did not answer the phone.  I was so glad to read that there were others with this same situation.  Honestly, scare the heck out of a person for no reason.  This is an outrage.  I hope this scam is discovered and that they folks are put out of business!

I have been recieving phone calls from the same company, the mans name is Justin Crowe, stating that I took out a payday loan, which I did not because I was denied.  I was scammed in march from a company called QAC, for 900.00. So beware!!  At least this time I was smart enough to go online and check things out, I got te federal trade commission number and my states atorney generals number and filed comlaints against them.

Tell them you are recording the call and inform them that you only will have contact with them through the mail AND RECORD IT> aNY MORE CALLS, SEND IT ON TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE ALONG WITH A COPY OF THE RECORDING.

I got a phone call today from some guy I cant understand he told me his name was Justin Crowe (which is not correct he is not from here he made up the name) regarding some account I owe, when I asked the rep for his fax number he didnt want to give it to me and was asking all kinda of questions of why I wanted it, I told him because he called me and I have that right to it. he did give me his office address its in Florida somewhere but who knows if hess telling the truth or not. After he gave me his info I told him two things that this is a scam and untill I recieve anything in the mail regarding this its a closed matter he then called me twice back to back after that I diddnt answer for this will be handed over to my state attorney general and fraud cases. again I do this all day everyday and they can not tell me that they are going to send someone out to arrest me hahahahahahaha so funny

For the past 3 days I have been getting the same type of calls telling me that I will be takent to court for some payday lone that i owe (I DONT!) they have gone as far as calling my work number as well as my friends, how they got there information I have not idea. After much investigation, I contacted my local attorney general and gave them all the numbers that I had to build a fraud cases against them. I was told by my attorney generals office that they will probably continue to call, however if i infrom them that they have been turned into the athorities and my attorney generals office for fraud that most likly they will stop. FYI AND WARNING !!!!!!!!! THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!! they can not come to your work, they can not come to your home, and they can not take you away without proper notification!!!!!!!! they more questions you as they more we can turn into the attorney generals office !!!!!!!!

For all people who are being effected by this SCAM, this is what i have been told to do. If contacted again and you actuly speek to someone, tell them that they have been turned in to the your attorney general office, as well as the FTC and FBI, I have contacted all three of these people and they now have the number that keeps calling. The FTC said that this may not stop them from calling however the more people that report the problem the better chance they have of stoping this scam. SO call your local attorney general office give them the story and the number that keeps calling you. Also give them any number that these scamers have told you to call them back on. DONT give out any information, they already have alot ! By LAW they can not do anything to you with out proper notification. it is a true shame that this is happening to all of us however learning as much as we can about our rights in a situation like this is a good IDEA. here's hoping that enough people will report this CRIME becuase it is a CRIME aginst us, to the local athorities and this ring of SCAMS will stop!!!!!!!

I have been getting a call from the same number recently.  First it started with the company ACS calling me a few times then it stopped and as of yesterday a Alex Smith (although he's got a indian accent) from the "New York Sheriff's" has been calling from that number.  He is very aggressive and threatens to have me arrested on some "legal matter".  He calls me only at work but has also started calling my mom and telling her that I'll be arrested.  How can I stop this weirdo?  I tried filling out the online complaint for the FTC bureau but I have to admit I'm kind of confused about which type of complaint to file, identity theft or what?  Also, is there anything else I can do to stop them?

His name was Kevin Foster for me ! ha ya right ! you file the complaint under the debt collector, being that they are trying to collect an "un-paid debt" gave as much info as you can names numbers they gave you to call all of it. As far as them to stop calling i dont know how to get them to stop. Just try and ignor it and dont answer anymore calls is what i was told to do.

They said they were calling from Florida, Michigan area code!!!! I had taken out a $350 loan in May of 2009. and they were just getting around to calling me!!
I would have ignored it but they had just called my girlfriend, friend and my old job(so the info they bought was old!!!)
he said I owed 3,250 and I could pay him with a credit card!!! F U!!!
then I asked when the court date was and if I could get info on that.
He could only send it to my lawyer, so I said I was a lawyer!!! he asked more info that I would not give him!!!
He got really pissed and wanted my lawyer to contact him in 30mins!!!!! YICKS
I told him he wouldn't scare me till I received  a document about this or a summons in the mail!!!
I would like to report him(them) and have them quit calling my friends, and my self I don't have time for this!!!!

They can NOT take you away, they have nothing to do with law enforcement or the Sheriff, DO NOT give them any info, just tell them the call is being recorded and you are reporting them. They can NOT arrest you without a subpoena and they won't do that anyway because they do not have any legal authority.

How did you figure out this was a scam?  I got the samething?

A Stacy Wilson who left a very NASTY message on my cell phone.  her message was to return her call immdediately or my attorney of record as it was extremely time sensitive or she "wishes me well as the situation unfolds".  Called her back and she could not/would not give me any information about "this debt". Only said that if I wish to settle this now it would cost me $1500+  OR i could expect the police at my home to arrest me and then it would cost me upwards of $5000+ (legal fees and such).  Called back about a 1/2 hour later and spoke to some guy (again with a thick accent) who reiterated Stacy statements. Stated that I had accepted a payday loan in March 2010 that was deposited directly into my bank account.  (NOTE:  the bank account has been closed since February 2010).  Contacted the Riverside County DA and will be filing a complaint against this company.  All I know is, they identified the company as xxxConsolidation Services.  Never could get them to spell the first name  of the company.

I have had the same problem with these guys.  They keep calling my wife, her mother, her friends, her school, and her work. they are trying to collect $300 dollars that she never got.  They told her that they are going to charging her with fraud. One guy said his name was "Sam Davis", and he worked for the San Diego Courts.  We called him back and he doesn't exist.  She got a call also that same day from a guy named "Ron Anderson" and said he felt sorry for her when she goes to court.  They called yesterday and I answered her phone and they asked to speak with her and I told him no.  He told me if I didn't giver the phone I was going to go to jail.  He said, "I'm two hours away and I'm bring the cops and you all will go to jail!' I told him I'd be waiting and that when he got there the cops would have a good reason to take me to jail.

Obviously you work for the scammers, because any AMERICAN would know that with our Civil Rights, you cannot be picked up at your house and brought to court and tried without PAPER SUMMONS in the mail or issued by an officer of the court AT YOUR RESIDENCE.  Nice try QAC and ACS, but we are on to yoU!

I went through this about 8 months ago and your answer is NO, they are not coming to arrest you.  In American there is no Debtors Jail, you cannot be arrested for an outstanding debt.  This is a scam so do not give them anything.  Contact the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint.
