Called my home at 12:31 p.m.  I answered after 2 rings but they hung up.  My number has been on the Do Not Call list for about a year.  Well, here's another one for the blocked caller list.

I do not know this number, it keeps calling all day long.

Called and left 22s voice mail. They are unsolicited scammers who immediately called back in 1 minute so that's a clue!!! Boiler room!!! The pitch was for phone services for old folks, I am 28. old?.

They are now blocked as is their other number which they promptly called me back on while I was checking my service email -    (800) 481-4999 Ditched

Left message stating since I am a Verizon customer that I have options. Idiot. Anyone can look up my number and see my provider. IT does not mean Verizon gave them the go ahead as her sales pitch voice mail implied. Obvious boiler room. I have gotten them ALL DAY. Different offers, hangups and numbers but it's all targeting my area.

Caller said she was from Southern California Telephone Company and could get me a senior discount on Verizon if someone in the house was over 55 and started to ask me for my Verizon plan.

I said I was not comfortable speaking about my plan with someone I didn't know and hung up.

Verizon says they do not have a senior discount.

No Caller ID.  Left a long, rambling message offering to lower my phone bills.  Said his name was Robert and I should call him back at 800-481-4999.  Oh right, I'll be doing that...

They called me again today, and hung up as soon as I answered. Maybe one of those machines that keeps dialing and connects only the first person who answers?

They buy service from reputable phone companies and sell it to you at lower prices - or so they claim. Several reports on the web say that they tack on all sorts of charges so your bill is actually higher, and that they abuse their employees as well. I wouldn't touch them.

They claim to be the Southern California Telephone Company. 27515 Enterprise Circle, Temecula, California.

I got the same hang up call so called them back. It's Southern California Telephone Company offering a discount service.  I didn't get into what kind of discount since I'm an ATT retiree and already get discounted services.  Asked them to remove me from their call list.  Very polite people though.

Got a call from this number, believe it is from an employee of this company(Cindy McClean) trying to contact my husband using the company's phone number.

Definitely a telephone company.  I asked why they hadn't checked the Do Not Call List.  She said they were a public utility and didn't have to.  She said I'd be calling her at the end of the month when my telephone rates go up.  I doubt that.

I answered. After repeating hello twice with no reply they hung up. I *69 but the service was not available to me for this number.

No one on the line means that some one  picked up their phone before you did...they have computers that do the dialing...i hung up on the guy and he called me back asking me how i could so rude by hanging up...lol.

Constant calls.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  No ID, I don't answer.  ID I don't recognize, I don't answer.

These rats called and hung up. Some people get so mad they go out and commit crimes so why would these creeps keep calling people and hanging up if they don't know what the person might do. Maybe they will go out and set fires or smash car windows or something. If you don't know what the other person is going to do then don't call and hang up.

Caller ID displayed Temecula, CA. Said he could get cheaper phone rates for Seniors. Ignores Do Not Call list.

Same nothing on caller ID and this is about the 3rd or forth call in the last two months.

The caller said he was with Southern California Telephone Company out of Temecula and he could get us phone service for cheaper than Verizon.  He got upset and hung up on me when I told him I was on the Do Not Call list and he shouldn't be calling me!  I doubt he's legit.

Failed to mention in my prevous post.   I have NO credit cards, no past due accounts, no house payments, no car payments,  am happily married and am unable to figure out the reason for the call
