This guy called me today and told me the same thing, is this a scam??

i got the same phone call saying that he was a ryan taylor and he is a state att. and that the marshalls are coming on monday i looked it up and the guy is a fake. he is going around to scare people. call the police and let them know what is going on.

Strange.... I always thought Arlington was an area of Riverside, not an actual town...

I got several phone calls from this number.  My caller ID says Arlington California and the number is 951-977-1365.   I had to listen to the message 3 times to make out what he was saying.  He was telling me to have my attorney call or myself.  He threatened me in the message with lawsuits and an arrest.   I did have a cash advance out at one time but it was locally.   Is this company a scam?

I just got a call from this number about 5 minutes ago. The man told me to go f*** myself after I told him I don't have a payday loan. He told me he was going to have me arrested. Who are they

I have been receiving a call from 951.977.1365 at least 5 times a day for the past week - I never answered it.  Today this number called 4 times in a row and then left a message the last time.  It was very hard to understand the Indian speaking guy leaving the message - he said his name was Steve Osburn from Anderson Law assocaites and that there were criminal charges against my social security number and that if I didn't call him back immediately they were pressing charges.  He said I need to call back with my Attorney's information and that if I don't he won't be able to help me.  He finished with "God Bless You and help you out of your debt".  

I am not in debt nor did I apply for a cash advance so I'm not even sure how they got my information, but conveniently my bank account was compromised just this past Thursday - thank God my bank took care of the problem.  I just hope and pray that someone hasn't stolen my identity!

They just called me multiple times. I told them I knew they were a scam and that if they weren't they are welcome to send me anything through the mail, then hung up. He called back 3 times then left a message and called me a "mother f***er" and an "a-hole" then told me to f-off. That is proof that this is a scam.

I just received the same phone calls saying Im going to be arrested, when I told him I have never taken out any payday loans he hung up on me.

I just got a call from these jerks to they think they are smart they had my bank account number which I just canceled and my social security number but I have life lock so good luck to who ever tries something. Law suit pfff yeh right so full of sh**.

I got this call too from this Indian people named Mark Smith, David Cooper and David Foster! they called my employer and threatening me like I need to get an atty. coz my name has been charged for criminal cases like for loan or cash advance which I never did! they're asking for $697 or more and if you didn't make any actions w/in 30mins. they'll going to arrest me! stupid of them no one get into jail just because of debts! as if I'm threatened and I'm not fool enough to believed those Suckers!!! Money, root of all evil! Those people need to be in jail!

I just received a call stating I am being sued and that my file will download in a hour to have someone pick me up at my job. I started asking questions, where is my paperwork, what is the matter at hand that you are speaking of etc. He hung up on me as if I am going to call them back with information. This needs to end. I had this happen a few months ago and they went into my bank account.

Since they was very annoying to me i am now doing it to them by calling their phone several times and saying crazy things just like they were.

Just got off the phone with them. Didn't spark up a conversation with them because i knew it was fraud. But i gave them a piece of my mind all four times they call.

I just got a call from this.SOB's telling that I was been sued for allegedlly comiting fraud while applying for a cash advance loan I just    called them back and gave them a piece of my mind .I was never aproved for such loan and I didn't given false information.They can go too hell.

I just asked them to stop calling. His response is that is not possible "You B*TCH"

I received a call on 8/30 from someone from Anderson Law Associates claiming to be Mike Anderson, an Indian speaking man, who had me on hold for several minutes claiming I was being recorded by the courts. He was yelling and threatening me saying he was sending the police to my work place. When I started to question him he became very upset screaming at me telling me I would be imprisoned by the end of the day and then hung the phone up me. What actions can be taken legally to stop this?

This guy called me with a heavy indian accent and was VERY rude....kept saying that I needed to LET HIM TALK and SO WHAT IF I KNOW HE IS FROM THE LOAN DEPARTMENT, I NEEDED TO LET HIM TALK. Needless to say, since I WAS AT WORK, I just hung up. Where can I report this phone number for the scam?

recieved a call from Shawn Carter on behalf of Mike Anderson 951-977-1365 that i haave a lawsuit that he is the paralegal for and that he is calling to collect my attorney information and i asked what it is for and he said that he is limited and i would have to call mr. anderson. So i replied " how are you the aralegal assisting on a case and you know nothing, So i told him to tell mr. anderson to call me and he said he doesn't call i said ok and you dont call me at work any more and he hung up

i got that call too... he got me scared and i thought i misunderstood what he was saying...

I got the same call this morning...

They are on hold now, waiting for me to drive to the bank...

I recieved the same phone call telling me i had a lawsuit against my ssn number nd my job will be in jeporady.. I knew they were a scam because this had happened to my friend awhile back... I told them i will not give no information nd i will report them for harrassment.

Annoying as hell. Some thick accented degenerate calling himself Steve Brown jsut left  a long, threatening message on my work phone. From the script he read,  I could make out the words "legal notification" and "lawsuit against my social security number". Huh? The he said if I didn't call back, I will lose my home and job and he can only "have mercy on my soul". Wow.

Received a threatening phone call today stating that I had received money from Cash Advance USA. never received a loan, however, I did apply for one and was denied. The guy had a fake a** Indian accent. he says that I will be arrested tomorrow at my job. Will let you know what happens!!

Someone keeps calling me from this company leaving messages about taking me to court about a loan I never got. And asked why I didn't pay it back. They said it would be a warrant for my arrest for 3 different charges and they would come to my work place to get me. They called out the last 4 of my s.s#.

I keep getting calls from an Indian man who changes his name...he asked who my attorney is and when I said what are you taling about he said OH MY GOD..I hung up on his a**! then he called my cell 4 more times in a row...i looked up this site and KNEW it was a scam..next they will call people that know me.. I want to report them to someone/

I got a call from this number telling me that it's a case against me. These people are crazy for real

I received a call from 951 977 1365 from a guy named Sean Conner. I never understand most of what he said due to the fact that, first of all, he mispronounced my name. Secondly, he sounded like he is calling from Inda. Thirdly, he threatened my future.

Print off this thread and give it to your employer. Let them know this is an extortion scam.

This guy has been calling me about a lawsuit and threatend me with legal actions. is using a new name but same lawfirm...so i hung up after telling him i had no such thing and he threatend me again so i hung up and he called back again stating now im really in for it...........its going to a highier level. that i'd better watch out for whats next...
